I've heard and experienced situation where a guy spends a year or more stalking on a particular lady, despite series of turn downs or declines from the lady, the guy persists. Taking the case of the guy that trekked from lagos to zaria for a lady he fell inlove with as an instance(he alredy spent 6yrs stalking on her)
Now my question is, guys,for how long can you stay stalking on that lady who's got you head over heels? And to our ladies, does it make sense to you when a guy spends a 'lifetime' stalking on you? Will his persistence ever make you consider him?

Toks2008, nice post you have written and I commend you for that. That's that...but to be frank with you, if you have met some type of crazy people in life, you would realize that the word 'decency' could really have a general meaning, acceptable among almost every sane and responsible human in a conservative African society like ours.

In as much as relationship thrives on accepting people's flaws and shortcomings which sum up to tolerance, I don't think it is wise to accept someone in marriage who has a trait/traits you cannot tolerate!!! We are all different and so are our desires when it comes to relationships and marriage. If Jude cannot withstand the condition of his wife-to-be not being able to communicate in English, there's no need being in a serious affair with Cynthia who happens to be someone who cannot speak or write in English properly. I bet you, he would never be happy in such marriage. Nobody should judge him because his mind is already conditioned not to accept such condition!

To ease our lives, we just need to know the characters or traits we can tolerate in others and those we cannot tolerate. If one has knowledge of these, one can make marriage or marital affair easier.

If anyone is searching for a partner who is flawless, such a person is living a life of illusions!

Yes, one can find a decent partner. This is so because attitude (persona or superfication) is not always direct reflection of attribute. The former can be learned or faked but the latter is innate.

So, one who is able to differentiate attitude from attribute can sure find a decent partner. Using standard-base of 100 percent, any partner that possesses from 70 percent upwards of the attributes one desires in a partner can lay claim of having a decent partner.

However, tell me that one cannot find a perfect partner and I will agree with you 100 percent.

Just when you think you have understood a woman, you soon realize that you don't.

When things go well with your woman, it is not necessarily because you really understand her. It is simply because she has decided to make your relationship work and is committed to it. You could be the most useless guy on the planet, the lady that wants to make it work would still try her best.

You can also be the most caring, loving, responsible & caring man in the universe, it will still not cut it with some women.

So just chill & be the best you can be. If it works then good.
