As far as i'm concerned, that show is a big sham.

Most times they end up making big fun of you and secretly explore the business idea to see how they can build on it and make it happen.

And they should remove that white lebanese or whoever from the panel cos he is too proud and i hate the way he looks down on every participant.
TV/MoviesRe: Gulder Ultimate Search: A Sham? by Toks2008(m): 4:13pm On Aug 10, 2008
Hmmm,

Could this be true?

If money was paid to register for the ultimate search listing, then i will not doubt the authenticity of tghe show but if it is solely financed by Gulder then i have every reson to believe there was indeed a great show of reality deciet.

But come to think of it, is mike that intelligent that he was so sure of the location of the treasure that he did not even bother to look around?

I smell a big rat.

Hmmmm, Its rather unfortunate that we are living in a world of uncertainty.

Look here my fellow Nairalanders,

AIDS OR NO AIDS
CASUAL SEX OR NO CASUAL SEX
PROTECTION OR NO PROTECTION

Pray that GOD should save you from alakoba(vernacular) which means bad luck person.

Why i used that phrase is because you can never ever be sure of 100% safety from this AIDS surge because you never can tell if your so called wife or husband has it at least una no go use condom for unasef abi.

And if you are so sure of each other before marriage, there is always a 50/50 chance of one of you straying and who knows, you may just bring in the big brother HIV and the whole story will change and most times even when either of you test negative to the virus, it may just be there waiting for the right time to bring down the immune system hence the Elisa test will show negative when the big man slowly eats up your T-lymphocytes.

And you nko virgin mary, how are you sure that your prince charming never contract the honorable HIV before saying i do to him.

I can go on and on to elucidiate further on the fact that NOBODY IS SAFE FROM HIV so lets pray to baba GOD to help us. But never the less, abstainance is the best because condom dey burst.

Christianity EtcRe: Adeboye Shops For $20m Jet by Toks2008(m): 9:01pm On Jul 17, 2008
Hi Folks,

Well in my own candid opinion, i see nothing wrong in wanting a private jet for ease of transportation and so on.

But the big question is this;

IS IT MORALLY JUSTIFIED TO CLAMOUR FOR THIS WHEN MANY CHURCH MEMBERS ARE JOBLESS AND POOR?

Lets face it, even if he spends billions to empower the church members, many will still be poor and jobless because poverty is a thing of the mind but i still believe that the money ought to be in reserve for some other pressing matters of utmost attention.

I am not trying to compare churches here but lets Look at this allegory; Christembassy publishes rhapsody of realities to the whole countries of the world as well as owning many tv satellite stations accross the world to win souls but believe it or not, The redeem christain church of GOD has the most lukewarm atitude towards evangelism. asides from their monthly camp worship service,i can't point out any other major outreach program.

Secondly, many members are homeless and jobless yet their local church complains of lack of funds to cater for these people. I remember when i was serving in 1998, i was thrown out by my landlord due to my failure in paying my rent, i went to my pastor then to lend me just N7,500 to add to the little money i had promising to pay back in two months with my NYSC allawance but he declined my plea saying that there is no money and i am sure many people in redeem today are in same situation as mine then and i am sure no help will be given.

Many of the their church branches in various locations source for funds from within for any project they intend carrying out.

In conclusion, i strongly believe that there is nothing wrong in wanting to buy a private jet this should not be coming from the redeem church overseer.
BusinessThe Real Truth Behind Recharge vouchers Printing Business. by Toks2008(op): 9:12pm On Jul 16, 2008
Hi everyone,

I am here to educate you about the real truth behind recharge voucher business.

Forget e-book and forget all the hype that its a money spinner.

If you reside in Lagos, forget computer or printer, just visit the sales location and buy in bulk but if you are outside lagos, you definitely need a printer, a computer, software installation which costs 15k and printed leaflets for printing the pins.

To start the business, you must be ready to be very very patient, diligent and careful. the profit margin is very low so it all depends on how fast you can turn over your volume sales to really give you a reasonable profit.

For instance; lets say you buy 500units of mtn 100 for N93.5 and you sell in bulk at the rate of N95 each thereby making a profit of N1.50K on each unit.
In the example above, you will be investing N46,750 to make a profit of N750 (N1.50K X 500).  How do you see this case scenario.

Now for you to make a reasonable profit of say N5000, you will need to invest about N400,000 and this profit will be made after all the cards are bought.

NOW HOW DO I ENSURE FAST RETURNS?

This is the main aspect of the busness and i must tell you the truth and a blunt one for that matter; GO ROUND AND DISTRIBUTE BY YOURSELF

Are you a graduate and you feel too big to do this? then try employing people that will either run away with your money or make mistakes continuosly in transaactions or you may end up not even seing anyone to do this for you.

I started this business with over N500,000 and believe me, what frustrated me out was the simple fact that no one was willing to do the work. It is either they are scared of losing cards or money so i just decided to buy and employ a sales girl in a shop but this has led to a slow turnover but since it is better than keeping money in a bank, i continued.

But if you have the money to invest and you can go round every morning distributing to phone booth operators, then you are in for  a good business.

Now if you are really interested, you don't need to raise 500k not at all, you can start with 100k and if you can turn this over twice a day, you are sure of 2,500k daily which amounts to 60k monthly excluding sundays. And if you can turn over 200k twice a day, that gives you 120K

NOW HOW DO YOU GET THESE CARDS CHEAPLY TO ENSURE GOOD PROFITS?

I think this is where i come in. I will give you the address where you can get these cards which include celtel, mtn, glo, starcomms, multilinks, visaphone and many more.

So in view of all these aforementioned factors, ARE YOU STILL INTERESTED?

If yes, then send an e-mail to diamondfieldng@yahoo.com

Hello Everyone,

I will keep my fingers crossed and see if trucard will scam me of my hard earned money.

I have a website that i need to renew the domain and i decided to patronise trucards. I have paid about $300 for just $200 visa card and they promised 72hrs at most but since 26th of june, i am yet to see my card.

I promise them that i will be their last victim if they dare to rob me.

I guess i was foolish enough not to be deligent enough before patronising a company that has no phone number on their web site and will never reply e-mails to explain anything to you.

The worst part of it is that if eventually they give me my card, i will have to pay $160 for what ordinary cost $24.

I know for sure that they are the worst virtual card merchant online but let me wait a bit to see if i will be robbed before knowing my next line of action.

Thanks

When you reason like this, no wonder there are more churches in Nigeria than the faithfuls. Every Dick and Harry in Nigeria now seems to have God's telephone number. Whatever evil they committ they will ascribe it to God as his will or to other forces without blinking. Every sunday, every school, warehouse is a church with people like you spewing nonsense to mindless and hapless lambs. Pastor in the morning, armed robbers at night. Nigeria needs more than a messiah.

[I would also like us to take our mind back to when Borishade was Education Minister. I am talking about the level of cultism at the time and how he handled the matter. That was during the OAU and Ibadan cult massacres, just to highlight the prominent ones. That was the first time he was first linked to an Occult group and he didn't bother denying the allegations at the time rather he was like "it" (being cultism) made him untouchable. This led to the serious outcry from many religious leaders when he was appointed Minister of Aviation. Many of them foresaw nothing but doom and woes ahead and time proved them right]

I think this is a very good food for thought for everyone. shocked

ABOUT SOSOLISO AIR CRASH

The plane, a DC9 operated by Nigerian airline Sosoliso on its way from the capital Abuja to the oil city in the southern Niger Delta, crash-landed, broke into pieces and burst into flames, witnesses said.

"I was at the helipad when the plane came in ,  There was thunder ,  I saw the plane break into three and then fire engulfed it and it started burning," said an airport worker, who did not wish to give his name.

ABOUT BELLVIEW AIR CRASH

LAGOS, Nigeria (CNN) -- All 117 people aboard a passenger jet that crashed shortly after take-off from Lagos are dead, including several high-level Nigerian officials, the government said Sunday.

A Beechcraft 1900 aircraft with three crew members on board was declared missing hours after it should have landed at Nigeria’s new resort city of Obudu in southeastern Cross River state.

The aircraft took off from Lagos early on Saturday and was not at its destination hours after it was expected to land at Obudu.

The identities of the officials were not released, pending notification of relatives.

"The Federal Government announces with regret the unfortunate air crash of Bellview Airlines ,  which resulted in the loss of life of all passengers and crew on board," a government statement released late on Sunday said, according to Reuters news service.

Dismembered and burned body parts, fuselage fragments and engine parts were strewn over an area the size of a football field near the village of Lissa, about 30 km (20 miles) north of Lagos.

"The aircraft has crashed and it is a total loss. We can't even see a whole human body," Reuters reports a senior police official at the scene as saying.

ABOUT ADC AIRCRASH

DAKAR, Senegal: A commercial airliner with 104 passengers and crew members on board, including the spiritual leader of Nigeria's vast Muslim population, crashed shortly after takeoff in the Nigerian capital, Abuja, on Sunday. It was the third deadly passenger plane crash in Nigeria in a little more than a year.

Six people were taken to local hospitals, aviation officials told reporters at the crash site. The other 98 people on board were presumed dead. The plane crashed just past the runway at the Abuja airport after taking off in stormy weather, and the wreckage was strewn across a wooded area beyond the runway. News agencies reported that some bodies had been recovered, but it was unclear how many.

The flight was operated by ADC Airlines, one of Nigeria's many small domestic airlines. The 23-year-old plane was a Boeing 737-2B7, The Associated Press reported, quoting an Aviation Ministry spokesman.

The plane was headed to Sokoto, the capital of a state near Nigeria's northern border. Among the passengers was the sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Maccido, the spiritual leader since 1996 of Nigeria's Muslims, who are believed to constitute half of the country's estimated population of 130 million.

ABOUT MILITARY PLANE CRASH

BBC reports that ten of Nigeria’s most senior army commanders have died when their military plane crashed near the south-eastern town of Obudu. Those killed include eight major generals and two brigadier generals, the authorities said.

President Olusegun Obasanjo called the crash a “monumental tragedy” and is flying home early from the World Bank conference in Singapore.

Two other officers also died, while at least four survived, the military says.

There were 18 people on board the Dornier 228 aircraft when it crashed into a hill 18 nautical miles from Obudu after flying from the capital, Abuja.

About the BAC 1-11-500 EAS Airlines plane Crash in Kano

56 of the individuals among the 149 who died in the BAC 1-11-500 EAS Airlines plane Crash in Kano, northern Nigeria, have been put in mass graves. "Most of them were just burned or mutilated beyond recognition," state commissioner for religious affairs The Great Prophet Tahir Agamou told Reuters.

Nigeria's Sports Minister Ishaya Mark Aku, the wife and son of retired Gen. Jerry Useni, count among the dead.

Relatives of the victims accused President retired Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo of insensitivity after he paid a very quick visit to the rundown district and did not stop to speak to the mourning families. He was away in southern Africa at the time of the crash (but returned shortly after the crash).

ABOUT THE MISSING PLANE

Four days after a Beechcraft 1900D aircraft belonging to Wing Airline was declared missing by aviation authorities, the search team said yesterday that logistics were hampering their search for it.

One of the searchers, the chairman of the Yala Local Government Area, told journalists yesterday, "The vegetation here is too expansive and a thick canopy overhangs the entire landscape. Without sophisticated equipment, it would be difficult to locate the place. Our team has been on it since last night and will not give up until the place is located."

Look here Bro,

I know it sounds very foolish and terribly absurd to blame the crashes on occultism but please let us leave our scientific theory for a minute and reason deeply and reasonably;

1. How many planes crashed?
2. How many Airline industries were affected?

Are we all saying that all these airline operators like bellview and several others that were affected were so foolish and mentally mediocered that they did not ensure that their planes were thouroughly examined after some crashed. Please i know we all went to school but some times we need to reason deeply. Fani kayode may be a terrible crook but for all i care, it is either these planes were sabotaged or something beyond the ordinary happened. Leave science.

Hi Everyone,

Hmmm, my people, why are you talking as if you are not Africans? Do you need a prophet to tell you that it is not normal to have series of unexplained plane crashes? Haba.

Look here, believe it or not, i knew from the very begining that these air mihaps were not ordinary but i was just waiting for the right time to confirm my speculations.

Fani Kayode himself must be a member of an occult and that is certain so he knows exactly what he is saying but on the issue of the criminal act he commited, i have no comment on that but concerning the death of the first lady happening same time with an airline crash and series of crashes thereafter, my people open your eyes.

Believe it or not, in my own opinion, those occultists he mentioned are those at the elm of affairs that may be seeking more power of dominion over Nigeria but at the end of the day, GOD surpassed them.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Seun: What Prompted You To Conceive This Great Idea(nairaland)? by Toks2008(m): 10:29pm On Jun 29, 2008
Hi Guys,

Your thread ought to be in the general dicussion section, but however your question is very well in the right context because as far as i am concerned, nairaland is the best interactive online forum i have ever come accross.

I believe that seun himself never had this expectation when he set up nairaland but by now he will be very proud of himself because nairaland has the solution to almost all if not all the questions you can ever come up with. If you have anyone suffering from high BP, just ask the person to visit the jokes section. Need love, visit the romance section, in search of business idea, check the business section just think about any issue and i mean any issue and you are bound to get solution to it.

SEUN, we are really proud of you but i would like you not to allow these praises to get to your head like it almost did when you threatened to barn a whole ISP of a member if a certain issue is discussed. I want you to know that each and everyone registered on this forum makes nairaland what it is today.

Big ups bro and we hope to show you our appreciation one way or the other.

Seun well done, you are an ambassador of our great country.
