Good day Nairalanders, I am kinda new here but I have been going through the threads and I appreciate what you are all doing here.

Anyways, I am in a difficult situation in my Study Permit Processing. I was given a conditional admission by Carleton University for a Masters in Engineering program in Electrical and Computer Engineering in November and it took some weeks for my Undergraduate University to send my transcripts to Canada.

I finally satisfied the condition, paid my Tuition fees for the Winter term and submitted an Online application for my Study permit on the 11th of December. I also did an upront medical examination last month and attached it and my police character certificate to my letter of explanation on my application.

Please, I will like to know what are my chances of getting my TRV before the 5th of January. I know I have not waited for long but I will like to know what my chances are of getting it timeously.

And she was to take care of her initially,so there was no one to take care of her in naija.
I submitted my statements of accounts.(3.5 mill and 9k USD

Marriage certificates
Sworn affidavit
Letter of explanation
Daughter birth cert,.
Hubby consent letter

Good evening nairalanders,I have been a quiet follower,but had to bring my issues to the house for help.
I applied for a student visa in October,and was denied in dec on basis of
1) travel history ---------- I have been to the UK 10 times in my life time
2)purpose of visit--------admission letters were submitted
3)length of stay
4)present employment condition -----------I work with one of the first tier banks salary is over 5 million p.a (this is my 4th job)
5)assets and personal financial assets---------I submitted shares certificates of blue chip companies,pension statement.
I also applied with my daughter and she was denied based on purpose of visit only.
This would be my 4th attempt,initially I was denied based on financials,but it wasn't ticked this time around.
I am sponsoring my self and had 3.5 million and 9k USD in account.
Please gurus in the house kindly assist me on what I need to do further.
Your responses and advices are well appreciated.

please, i met an agent via complete sport which i believe some other people did contact him on thesame canada resident permit and i submitted my application after printing out the form he sent to my box and scan back with my documents and my wife's and daughter's details and he said the process will be done in ghana and few days after i paid 15k and submitted my datapage to him and he confirmed to me that my application was submitted, i got a mail from him, a validating copy of approval...and he said i have to pay the visa fee now through him or i do it myself but he prefer he's the one to pay...pls can i go ahead with the process through him

My dear,you can't just imagine how I feel. It's few weeks to resumption, and all plans are in standby. After my visa was cancelled in June,this is my second attempt. Let them just put an end to this madness so I can continue with my life. Whatever it is they are verifying I really don't know. Like the scripture said " For the vision is yet for an appointed time,but at the end it shall speak and not lie: Though it tarry,wait for it,because it will surely come..it will not tarry!!!!

So Happy that I'm one of the lucky few that got my Visa in my 1st trial. It's God, not me.

hmmm.... So I was in a training all day. Phones on silence and no internet. The training finished by 5:15pm and I saw 3 missed calls. My mind went straight to CIC. I rushed to my mail box and saw a mail from them. It directed me to my portal and I saw:

I saw a new message that had my medical form attached and I started running like a mad man round the office while on the phone with my folks. Join me in praising God ooooo!!!!!!!!

, I think u shouldn't have submitted too many professional certificates, the V.O will view u as being overqualified for your intended course of study and that you just want to use stuudy Visa as a Means to enter canada. Goodluck anyway
