Can Kanayo finance this political race? How much does he have? |
The moment Nigerians realise the stupidity of religion eh, this country will be better for it. |
Not quite, just a reflection of the shallowness of some others' mind and inability to think deeply on the impact of their words/actions and inactions. SoapQueen: |
Knowledge is more powerful than emotion. Sadly, a good percentage of marriages are contracted on mere emotions, void of a refined knowledge of oneself (potential, personality, paths...), one's partner, the purpose and pattern of marriage, parenting and all. Hence, the absence of such knowledge creates abuse of one's self, partner and marriage. Many don't have knowledge and they're not interested in knowing. Wisdom is the principal thing (given by God) and in all your gettings (education, career, partner, marriage), get understanding (it's a conscious personal effort). |
This is a product of a shallow mind, lack of self-worth and sheer inferiority complex. She possibly believed people would love her better if she exposed her assets. Let's educate and renew our minds to function beyond social expectations and gross stupidity. For those saying this is the consequence of liberalising the Internet, I beg to differ. Why? Her stupidity would still have found expression even without the Internet which is only a medium. The mind is the major force/actor here. |
I hope you got the consent of your brother before sharing this online. |
Forget that crap...They'll waste your time and money. Go to Unilag or some other institutions. |
I'm almost pushed to say that figure is under-reported. |
Don't be in haste to throw your money into a business you know next to nothing about, all in the name of been tired of seeing the money stay fallow in your account...This is from personal experience. It's better you're seeing it in your account than watch it disappear into thin air because of business you know next to nothing about. Sit back, think, research, pray and make your decisions. Best! |
Hello, I have 4 acres of cassava ready for sale in the Ado/Odo region of Ogun State. If you're interested, quote me or drop your contact so we can discuss. Cheers! |
I'm trying hard to understand your point. Lemme ask you a simple question: Would you allow your sister to marry a struggling guy who can't take care of himself let alone a woman and kid? One of the reasons Nigeria has remained poor is because people's minds aren't economically active and viable. Bad then, women jumped into marriage without much thoughtfulness and the need to continue the family circle. Perhaps, the economy wasn't this demanding. But with education and social enlightenment, women and men now understand the need for economic and financial comfort in a relationship. As a guy, I won't marry a woman who isn't concerned about her financial prosperity, my economic growth and how she benefits from it. It's also okay that you know that LOVE (an inconsistent emotional/hormonal/chemical reaction) isn't all that makes a relationship successful. In fact, you shouldn't build a relationship on LOVE rather holistic knowledge - finance inclusive. Lonestar124: |
No worries, dear. Got nothing on you just thought to point that out. Perhaps, I've got my preferences and I go all out for it once I see it. Best! Saff: |
You speak from the depth of your knowledge. Do you realise people don't decide the quantity of such features in their body and that's something either you or they can't change. It was a creative peck. So, leave what you can change and see more in life. * I don't have excess ukwu, everything is in right proportion over here. Best! Saff: |
Unrelated context. Jacob was rich while serving. Perhaps, every generation has its style of measuring wealth and acquiring the value of woman you desired. In Jacob's time, being patient to serve your would be father-in-law was the trend. Truth is, money is important in every relationship, either work, platonic or amorous. Before a man seeks a woman, he must know God, have a life of his know, have a work and be self-sustainable. Men should learn to live responsibly and not be led by emotions and libido. Lonestar124: |
Another evidently fake personality and lifestyle. At the base of all these paparazzi is inner guilt, regret and unhappiness. What's her purpose in life sef? Deceive people without a discerning mind to believe this is how best to live life? What a pity to our generation. |
This is what I call Ibeberism. |
In comparison to the vast poor and pricey data/telecoms services in Nigeria, Ntel is a saviour. Fairly fast speed and moderate pricing. But to make comparison with global services, you're on your own. Started out with them for an unlimited monthly plan of 12.5k. That was massive. But now, it's 17.5k. I'm using it right now. It's value for money compare to other providers. I hope they don't jeek it up again. For those bashing them for staying in Lagos, Abuja and PH, I bet you don't understand the principles of business expansion, scaling and profiteering. These 3 locations are huge and about the heaviest spenders on data services. If they can't survive in these terrains, then they can remodel their business scope abi you wan make Etisalat's woes befall me. Oh! I get it, they should come to your village I'm Borno so,,they can service Boko Haram abi. Abeg, go siddon. Ntel well done...But you can always be better in pricing and service quality. |
“It has not been easy at all. I had a flourishing hairdressing business before I went to Libya. But, I have lost everything. I also lost my mother and my 11-year-old son, while I was away. When they could not connect with me, my mother died of heart attack, while my son died because there was nobody to take care of him. But, I thank God I came back alive. I will start all over again; I believe I will make it in Nigeria. No more going out of the country,” Naomi, 30, narrated her ordeal of the journey to Europe through Libya. Naomi was participating in a reintegration training programme in Lagos sponsored by the European Union (EU) and International Organisation for Migration (IOM) in collaboration with the Federal Government of Nigeria. She and other participants shared their experiences about reintegrating to life in Nigeria after being deported. Most Nigerians who embark on irregular migration to Europe imagine that their lives will be greatly improved once they reach their destinations. Unfortunately, the reality for most is vastly different. Many lose their lives during the journey. Those who do make it to their destination usually face all manners of difficulties and wish to return home, but end up feeling stranded and trapped in a foreign land. Others are summarily deported. Like Naomi, many deported migrants had thriving businesses in Nigeria before they embarked on the journey, but left behind a solid livelihood for the promise of a better life that never materialized and often ending up penniless or in severe debt. Once back in Nigeria, deported migrants often face additional frustrations and find it difficult to fit into communities they had chosen to leave in search of something better. Thirty-two-year-old Ubo from Akwa Ibom State said life had become so unbearable since he returned to Nigeria that he had even contemplated suicide. “I came back on May 11, 2017, and since then life has been very tough. I was on the verge of committing suicide. I wanted to end it once and for all because I didn’t know where to start again. I came back with nothing; I lost everything,” he said. According to the IOM, over 8,000 Nigerians in Libya have voluntarily returned to home between January and May 2018 due to cases of inhuman treatments, human trafficking and slavery, rape and death. I presume you are reading this because you or someone you know is interested in travelling to Europe. Well, that is a good intention and it is right if done rightly. Human beings are naturally wired to want more out of life – more money, comfort, security, happiness and everything in between. This quest for more, is what leads many to explore the universe for better opportunities and livelihood, a situation which necessitates movement from location to another – migration. For almost every ‘hustling’ Nigerian, traveling to Europe is a far better option than having to toil and turn here in Nigeria, at least, for the perceived economic opportunities, functional social systems, and public structures which are, unfortunately, absent in Nigeria just as with most other African countries. While the realities of a dysfunctional Nigeria are glaring, disturbing and unmotivating, many Nigerian youths are choosing to travel to Europe in search of a greener pasture, sadly, they are choosing to travel through the ever dangerous and deadly Niger Republic - Sahara Desert - Libya and Mediterranean sea route, too much journey for a piece of bread. Every year, no fewer than 2,000 Nigerian youths die in the Mediterranean sea while trying to cross over to Europe. Just before getting to the threshold of crossing the sea, many lose their lives, livelihood and dignity in Libya through modern slavery, prostitution, sexual assault, human trafficking, gross abuse of human rights and at worse, death. Apparently, for those who die in the Mediterranean sea or Libya, that is the end of their struggle for survival, sustenance, and success…Living itself is survival. For the thousands who choose to use this route which has been dubbed “illegal” or “irregular”, they certainly have more hurdles to face than the Mediterranean sea and Libya. The journey through the Sahara Desert is a major lifetime task – you either fight or die. Hot temperature, lack of water, food and basic amenities for weeks and the challenge of an overloaded truck conveying a multitude of Europe hopefuls, most of whom die just before the journey ends. Survival is, indeed, the first of life, yet, one needs life in order to survive. What is the value of a Nigerian life? Less than N150,000. That is according to the CNN in a recent video that uncovered a shocking carnage of modern slave trade of Nigerians alongside other nationals in Libya for $400. With this figure and other threats faced by Nigerians who intend to travel illegally to Europe through the Libyan route, it is almost senseless and confusing to know that a majority of them pay a huge sum of money, up to N500,000 to N1million to execute the journey. However, a majority of them end up dead, maimed, abused and reduced to nothing. Certainly, the cost of illegal migration is more than can be envisaged. Undoubtedly, Nigerians have a never-say-never spirit, a feat which should be harnessed for home-grown opportunity creation and development. In the midst of the struggle, we can survive and make the best decisions to better our lives. It is essential that all stakeholders pull up to address critical issues of economic opportunities for the youthful population in order to avoid needless death and wastage of human, social and financial resources through illegal migration. If you want to travel to Europe or any other part of the world, travel legally.

OLD POST...OFF FROM YESTERYEARS! |
First, your epistle was too long. Guess you were writing for SEO and not humans, just to fill up space. That said, Google isn't fool-proof. Hundreds of brands have and will continue to do it. You only need the right insight and expertise. Google is just an ideology, there are alternative ideologies to achieve same goal. |
Dear OP, Thanks for your thought but your postulations are somewhat faulty and misleadin, to say the least. Just like any other business: Online businesses aren't for the faint hearted. Online businesses are not a means to quick money. Online businesses require skills, investments, knowledge. Online businesses have their own risks. Stopping giving people cheap and false hope about the digital space. They'll have over-inflated expectations of growth and success. |
Easter as a symbol of Christ's death, burial and resurrection, was heralded by some activities such as the 40 days fasting, the passover, then betrayal. Please note that in the age of these occurrences, the Gregorian calendar which the world now uses was not in use then The death of Jesus occurred around the Jewish Passover, which is traditionally held on first full moon following the vernal equinox. As the full moon can vary in each time zone, the Church said that they would use the 14th day of the lunar month instead – the Paschal Full Moon – and host Easter Day on the following Sunday. Once the date of the moon is known, Easter Day and the Easter holidays can be determined. |
Nice. Did you get it from a private user or from a dealer? temi2008: |
