Once read your post where you said you have a temporary INEC card. Actually, that's accepted by FBN for account opening. You'll only to get your utility bill, passport photograph and cash to fix it. Anyway, it's all good. freepop: |
Enough of all this, Young Nigerians. Ain't you appalled by the state of things in the country vis-a-vis the merchandising of your future? You're engrossed in watching different series, seasons and movies produced by young creative minds in other (functioning) countries and you refuse to be inspired to do good, Greater and better things for yourself and your country. Just so you know, the foundations of those great societies where these entertainment content are produced were built by young minds like you. For us Nigerians, we need to get creative and pump all our creative energies and might into, first, developing a working model/system for our country. Ask yourself: what's working in this country; health, education, roads, justice...absolutely nothing. We need more than just films and comedy skits, all in the name of relaxing and entertainment. We Need More! |
Quite unfortunate for Nigeria and it's startup space. Apparently, GoMyWay didn't start out as a business, rather, as a charity organisation seeking to provide free services in an unsupportive business climate like Nigeria. And as we know, switching from a NGO/Charity space to a business is a tricky one, which is what got them burnt, coupled with Nigeria's unfavourable business climate. Now that the company is down, I'd think that some lessons should have been learnt and documented for future businesses not to fall into. Repeating a similar error will eventually affect individuals and the society, but it can be prevented by conscious documentation of the lessons learnt and valid recommendations...Case study/Whitepaper? Whatever, just get something off this. |
Bros, I hope you're aware that your username bears 'Nobody' and it's unclickable, so, no signature portfolio for you on NL. I've monitored this your account for a while. Meanwhile what Binary Option platform is this? Check my signature |

Really? Guess you missed the part where the guy said she has shown all signs of walking out of the relationship once she finds a richer dude. And then again, what value/ return on investment is there in sending a fully grown lady to school when she's the only child of living parents? Haba! Nma27: |
Nice! I presume you're a headphone and good sound freak. Are you into music/sound production? Wouldn't mind exploring your headphone collections. IamKashyBaby: |
Oh! Sounds like a good one but I've never tried it before. IamKashyBaby: |
Ever felt confused about buying a headphone? Well, it’s almost a normal feeling for everyone until they better understand the dynamics of headphones and how to get the right one. Choosing the right set of headphone could be a daunting challenge. Headphones are not just a piece for listening to music, podcasts, radio shows, phone calls and other audio files, they are also a piece of science and engineering and for some a piece of fashion. Aside from the question of price, having to choose between earbuds, in-ear, on-ear and over-ear headphones, is often a point of worry for many. For you to choose the right pair of headphone, you need to consider the size, type, comfort, technology and of course, your budget. Different types of headphones are in the marketplace, simply make your choice and enjoy it.

How far? How did it go? Keeppushing: |
Great! Thanks larrywax: |
Thanks for the info. Does it matter if I don't reside in Ikeja/Oshodi local government, will I be attended to? larrywax: |
Thanks. Had a chat with FBN via Twitter and they requested a valid form of identity. BVN wasn't started. Sadly, I just struggled to get a Voter's card today (not the plastic one) and I was told it won't suffice, too. Getting a national ID is like wishing corruption out of Nigeria. Guess, I'm locked at the moment. DrMeroThaEmperor: |
So, I'm ready to invest in TBills, but, I'm incapacitated. Apparently, I want to bank with either FBN or Stanbic, meaning I'd need to open a new account, but here I am with no valid means of identification. My international passport expired some months back, I don't have driver's license, national I.D (yet to capture biometrics - long queues), no voter's card (been there over 5 times but no way). What is the way out? I need to enjoy high interest rate ooo. |
Thanks. Is this for the primary or secondary market? Just checked out the site but realise that the interest rates were not stated, only the volume and dates were presented. TopKol: |
Dear OrdercityWeb, I see your quest to hold an intellectual conversation on this issue, howbeit, without considering the realistic points of sociology, culture and human existence. So, your position might only be academically relevant and nothing more. You stated all your perceived reasons for why intertribal unions shouldn't be encouraged or established, with the preservation of culture and identity leading the pack. You, however, failed to state in specifics what you mean by identity and culture (at least for clear understanding by all). This is further expressed in your counters to other contributors' comment on the the evolution of culture and identity. Let me ask you, what role does cultural affiliation play in the development, successes or failures of an individual - major, medium, minor? You referenced Solomon being a man of dual tribe/race, how did that contributed to his disadvantage, success or failure in life? Now, who and what rule says that humans (an individual) should only have a single cultural leaning all of his/her life? The human mind is quite adaptive, especially, at its formative (childhood) stage. A child grows up seeing his mum switch between two 'cultures', apparently, s/he believes that that's the way to life and go through life and sees no issue with that. Just before s/he goes outside to see loads of singular cultural homes, his/her mind, thoughts and outlook are already formed that dual 'cultural' lifestyle ain't no problem. No confusion, no wahala. (I'm a product of this, not through marriage but through environment - Yoruba growing up in an Igbo community). I won't dwell extensive on the role of intertribal marriage in breaking the tides of tribalism...someone already did. Look around marriages plagued by domestic violence and instability, are they all intertribal? You've not see a Yoruba man beating his Yoruba wife to stupor? To get the conversation flowing, you might to be specific about your understanding of what culture is, that way, we'll all be on the same page. Mind you, depending on the level of understanding of tribal couple (Igbo/Yoruba based in Lagos), they can decide to strictly call the child by an Igbo name, learn Igbo language first, get affiliate with the Igbo pattern at his earliest stage and of course learn the Yoruba pattern much later (not out of compulsion, but the prevailing environment is simply empowering to do that). InterTribal all the way......... |
Thanks for this sarcasm...LOL! Demented somebody. dlondonbadboy: |
In recent weeks, the treasury bills market has offered impressive return on investment figures - up to 18.5%. Similarly, Investments in bitcoin have been impressive with market reports stating that its ROI has quadruple since January 2017. If the recent reports and planned moves by Nigeria's regulatory body on the treasury bills holds, then, the ROI will sooner than later crash. On the other hand, Bitcoin has been speculated to continue its growth in coming months, however, keen observers express fears that the volatility of the cryptocurrency might negate such claims of higher ROI on BTC. Question: Would you advise a huge investment in Bitcoin or Treasury Bills? |
Thanks for the clarification. Need to get something started while the rates are high...Scared of this new idea by FEC. chukzyfcbb: |
Na wah for you ooooh! So, millions of humans masturbate on the plane, daily? Just listen to yourself! TheHistorian: |
Please I need clarification on this; If one buys a Tbill at 18% and FG changes the interest rate to 15%, will the investor still receive the interest of 18% at maturity despite 15% being the current/prevailing rate? |
