Politics / Re: EFCC Submits Additional Proof Of Evidence Against Emefiele by TollinsN: 8:16am On May 04
No retreat no surrender. I still wonder how an accountant or an economist would think it is normal to use ₦18.9 billion to print ₦645million new notes. I still want to know what ₦13 trillion printed by Emefiele for Buhari government was used for despite the huge foreign borrowings.
If there is a charm that can make Emefiele sing like parrot please let us use it ooo
He did all these and made me use ₦1000 to buy ₦5000 in those periods of madness.
Maybe he the law can be bent , so that they will hand him over to DIM (Defence Intelligence Ministry) he will sing like parrot

Politics / Re: Michael Chibuzo Replies Obi's Criticism Of The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway by TollinsN: 7:17am On May 01
So many people are just hearing about the coastal highway. They do not know what it means talk less of it's route.. They don't know how to weigh the quantum of losses vis a vis the grains. A road that had been conceived by so many governments in Nigeria as very important, but the courage to start construction of the road is elusive.
People always shows their ignorance through their comments just because they have penchant for criticism.
The real cause of abandoned projects is that the contractor that starts the project would have gave the President/Governor and his Ministers/Commissioners huge bribe plus/including the initial over invoicing. So any successive governments will have to abandon the project if the costs of completion will raise eyebrows and emotions . He knows he will meet brick walls if he tried probing past government over the project.
Hardly you will see a new government trying to complete abandoned projects with the initial contractors ( TO AVOID BACKLASH)
Crime / Re: Yahaya Bello: EFCC Withdraws Alleged Fraud Case At Appeal Court by TollinsN: 8:09am On Apr 25
Many people who taught they are educated but are actually what we termed (educated illiterate) will think that EFCC had actually withdrawn the case against YAHAYA BELLO.
EFCC appealed the initial ruling that BELLO should not be arrested until determination of BELLO'S prayers before the court. Now that that had been determined and set aside. EFCC no longer had anything to appeal against because event had overtaken the appeal . So it has to be withdrawn so as so continue the substansive case. (SO CASE AGAINST BELLO IS STIL IN COURT)

The high paying fee schools hinged on the fact that Nigerians still see more than enough to steal from their place of work and as a result always wants to show class.
Most parents are always ready to buy the container and not the contents for their children.
Gadgets employed for the training of the children are most often times not connected with true learning but just make believe to show business class.
I have discovered for long that those schools will never allow their students to do WAEC or NECO to avoid being disgraced. They do foreign examinations

In a nutshell that's what Tinubu is saying about Buhari although Tinubu himself has looted and still continues to LOOT Lagos state as he has been doing since 1999 (25 years and counting) and that is where Tinubu stole the money he used to rig himself into power whilst bribing the Supreme Court Judges along the way.

The banks in Nigeria are the major cause of our problems. If you want to borrow money for business in any bank in Nigeria you pay not less than 28% compound interest on loans. I will have to add 50 -60 % profit on all goods produce with the money to pay back.
That means all products will be more expensive by 85% .
So small scale industries cannot afford to borrow from commercial banks now. Microfinance banks are of a little help but even at that you must have a solid patronage

Any country that laid too much emphasis on that paper called (certificate) will never grow. They will forever remain a developing nation. The highest employers of labour in Europe are not University graduates.
The highest degree in the world is DSc. There are so many Africans having DSc , but how many European and Asian strive to obtain such certificate.
This Indian thing is already in Nigeria. No one is ready to employ and pay you based on your certificate alone now, but want to employ and pay you based on WHAT IS IN YOUR BRAIN TO SELL TO THE ESTABLISHMENT/ ORGANISATION THAT MAY HAVE AN IMPACT IN IMPROVEMENT OF THE ORGANISATION/ ESTABLISHMENT.

Gboss247:
I still disagree with because NNPCL owns stakes in every oil production companies in Nigeria and keep all oil production activities.
Secondly, crude oil are stolen from abandoned oil production facilities and not functional facilities operated by E&P companies.
We on a similar page but abandoned oil facility are not actually abandoned but was made to seem so for sabotage just because they have been caught for an infringement. There is no way you can get crude there except technically shipped there to ward off Naval patrol If you had ever worked in an oil company as a contractor before you will understand certain things.
Politics / Re: We’re Planning To Build Two Refineries In Nigeria—Independent Petroleum Marketer by TollinsN: 6:41pm On Jan 05
Gboss247:
I disagree because of the following reasons
1. No law in Nigeria made NNPCL the sole supplier of crude to oil refineries, they get their crude from private E&P companies that operate the oilfields.
2. The above mentioned modular refineries are all approved by the federal and state government agencies, e.g the two Edo modular refineries were initiated by Edo state government while president commissioned Waltersmith petroman modular refinery in Imo state.
If I should agree with you it means government Will never know the daily quantity of crude oil that is being extruded. Three with be no account for it.
Please I just want you to understand that there is always synergy between NNPC and all owners of oil rigs accross the country. They only keep their eyes away during illegal bunkering of stolen crude
Politics / Re: We’re Planning To Build Two Refineries In Nigeria—Independent Petroleum Marketer by TollinsN: 6:27pm On Jan 05
Gboss247:
What do you even understand by the word "monopoly" because last time I checked, two Edo modular refineries started operations in 2020, Waltersmith in 2021, Aradel as far back 2010.
Please fact check. Non of those you mentioned have been quoted as recognised. There are so many unapproved modular refineries across the Nation. We know they existed but many of them relied on stolen crude oil. NNPC never claimed to have supplied any modular refinery crude oil except the ones that started operations in December

Hope they can do it. DANGOTE'S monopoly will be broken. Thanks for the SAUDI'S deal with Nigeria. ARAMCO one of the best refinery company in the world is coming to Nigeria. Signed and sealed by heads of both government.

What atrocities..

Did he pack the money in foreign banks?
Dangote came open and clear that it is not possible for him alone to build a $19 billion refinery without government coming to help .. Dangote groups does not export anything large enough to generate USD...their revenues are largely in naira and the currency of every African nation they operate in..

Emifiele obviously maid the doors to reserves so easy definitely in exchange for bribe .. if Dangote succumbed to it would you blaim him...Do you know the wickedness of the average civil servant in Nigeria?..

Even if Emifiele knows the impact of his refinery project..he can fustrate it if his pocket isn't settled... it's the normal system in government.. Buhari approved it though and nothing bad about that..Emifiele mis used such right..

After all have you asked your self how other billionaires like Folorunsho alakija became rich?..what about Otedola who was caught after bribing law makers for subsidy scams...
Have you called them...what about shell who has been looking Nigeria in USD since 1963..

Now you have someone who built what no government in Africa can do.. employs more than the federation government and many state governments combined..and Una carry Una mouth dey wail..

His company is one of many operating in the country who bribe their way through the system..
..after all..Then no born Tinubu well to touch him..after recking the reserves..they will still depend on his refinery to regain back those Forex
You are somewhat right but you failed to tell us what befell Nigerians as every companies have to source for FOREX at the black market making the cost of goods and services to sky rocket since FOREX is not available at the Banks.
I want you fact check. The refinery was built with funds raised by both Govt and Nigeria Banks. The banks are now owing CBN ₦17 Trillion. Then where does just 3 banks in Nigeria get a total of about ₦360 billion in profit after tax if they truly had such debt hanging over their necks
MY BROTHER NIGERIA FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS IS STINKING. Let me stop here. If I you do your research about Nigeria financial institutions you will cry for this country. They are hell bent in killing the economy for the CAPITALISTS advantage. TINUBU as an ACCOUNTANT/ECONOMIST can only try because he had worked for them both locally and internationally. He knows their antics and tactics. These people are so rich and powerful such that they can make any president in Nigeria sweat profusely. They taught he is going to do their bidding but now that he is moving against them. They will show him pepper. They will clear all the Dollars away from the table. Naira will still fall seriously against Dollar until he is able to cage them.

Breaking News!!

The former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, has reportedly refunded a whopping N4 trillion to the coffers of the Federal Government stolen while he was the at the helm of affairs of the apex bank.

According to a source close to the investigators, besides reportedly returning N4 trillion, Emefiele also allegedly gave up ownership of six banks linked to him.

In a related development, the source revealed that a former CBN Deputy Governor, Tunde Lemo, also reportedly refunded $500 million embezzled taxpayers’ money.

The most shocking of all, however, was the discovery of $275 million in the bank account of a six year old son of Sabiu Yusuf, a.k.a Tunde, a Personal Assistant to former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Also discovered was another N1.5 trillion in the personal account of the former Personal assistant to former President Buhari.

The source said: “The Special Investigator, Jim Osayande Obazee and his committee, allegedly discovered $275 million in an account in a new generation bank belonging to six years old son of Sabiu Yusuf.

“Another N1.5 trillion also allegedly traced to Yusuf, a very influential member of the former President Mohammadu Buhari’s Govt.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently negotiating, using some influential Nigerians on how to refund the funds without being exposed.

“Only recently, National Security Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, lamented that the current administration inherited a bankrupt country from the Buhari’s government due to the large scale looting that occurred then.”

It could be recalled that Tinubu employed the services of Mr. Obazee, a Special Investigator, to investigate the activities of CBN under Emefiele and related entities.

So far, Obazee has recovered over N12 trillion looted mostly by members of the former President Buhari’s administration.

The source also claimed that the committee has also rejected several millions of Dollars in bribe offers from former members of the Buhari’s Government to avoid being arrested and exposed.

It's no longer news that DANGOTE and some directors of the CBN have been using form F to clear up FOREX at the CBN . Just in the name of Importing Raw materials
The Directors of the CBN copied EMEFIELE who connived with SERIKI Hausawa of Lagos by giving him DOLLARS at ₦470 which the later will sell at ₦750 black market rate. 70 billion was found in the account jointly operated by EMEFIELE and the wife of the SERIKI who works at Central Bank.
Companies across Nigeria never got FOREX at the Banks so they have to patronise BLACK MARKET.
DANGOTE and the Directors have been running to meet the president everywhere the president travelled to. They are all looking for for a political solution so that they will have a safe landing without prosecution
The last time I noticed his visit to the president. He had to wait for 5hrs and was discharged in 5minutes

So many people unknowingly bought pre registered SIM. Those people by the road side selling SIM cards will do a DEMO as if you are being truly registered by collecting your DATA and BIOMETRICS. It's all a make believe action.
If you want to check after buying the SIM just call customer care and tell them you've just bought the SIM with (Your Name) and they should help you to confirm. You will be amazed with the reply.
I have once bought one like that (AIRTEL) at the gate of IKEJA LOCAL GOVERNMENT. When I called the customer care. I was told not to use the SIM to call again and that I should throw the SIM away immediately. And this is a SIM I cut myself from the SIM holder.
I have once bought another (9 MOBILE) at SANGO OTA UNDER BRIDGE after calling the customer care I was asked to go their Nearest customer care to complain, which I did because the office is few metres away from there. They simply collect the SIM remove all re Installed information and update it with our own. They said it is possible because we have only make less than 5 calls on it.
And again lọts of students have linked their JAMB registration with strangers mobile numbers. During National synchronisation and sharing of data. There will be problems with so many SIMS
This government should brace up and clean all this anomalies to reduce/forestall security problems across the country

Mynd44:

The police isn't the problem, Nigerians are the problem.

The initial quit notices were served in 2019. The tenants went to court and the court case started. The court finally ruled that POWA had the right to evict and demolish.

POWA applied for a demolition permit, it was issued and the tenants were served a 3-Month notice ending December 31st.

Then they were also served a 24-hour notice on December 30 to remind them.

As at midnight of 12am January 1, those tenants should have left as they didn't have any legal stance or any right to be there, POWA had gone through the needed steps too and so they can't be held liable.

Also note that those asking where the tenants should go, POWA has not been collecting rent since 2019 when the initial quit notices were served. They refused to make plans now this has happened.

Some people will not read this. This is just because they are die hard critics. No matter how good an information is. They will ensure it is criticized or put ethnic colouration. THEY ARE TOO MANY HERE. They sleep and wake daily - thinking and dreaming negatively.
