allthingsgood:Lol. Don't try to be smart, even in the Nigerian military the most common weapon are the AKs |
Stoplying:So why not list these countries as sponsors. You all trying to sound woke and smart yet leave out reason in your discussions. The US spends billions in aid in Nigeria every year, how much have they made from the country?? Until you lot start to take responsibility for your failures, naija can't make much progress |
allthingsgood:Ahnhan!! Going by your logic, the most used weapon by bandits and other terrorists is the AK series. Do we now say they are Russia sponsored ![]() |
allthingsgood: ![]() Really don't know what part of your body you use in thinking but it's definitely not the brain ![]() |
A dead economy, but Tinubu decided to bury it in a 60ft grave without medical confirmation. |
E be like say these guys go just come media talk rubbish wey make sense then go there corner go dey laugh Nigerians. |
smileyoo:Absolutely spot on NL is a good example, you'd be surprised at the energy and enthusiasm that someone whose direct benefit from corrupt system barely surpass the minimum wage put into defending the system. Can't we all think of greater good? |
Price of pepper and tomatoes these days fit send person go village. At this rate 100 and #200 will soon be valueless |
I saw this thread earlier today, where the OP narrated his experience when he approached the NPF to help track and recover a stolen phone. https://www.nairaland.com/8103675/ever-tracked-stolen-phone-before Going through the thread, quite a number of people have similar experience with the police which include 1. The NPF demands a sort of fee to track your stolen phone. 2. Having found the location, they now charge you "mobilization fee" to effect arrest of the suspects 3. If suspects are caught, s/he is made to pay for all the expenses and more. Now here are some things that bug me 1. why would the police charge a citizen who reports a stolen item to help in it recocery - ain't that their primary responsibility? If they can't protect lives and property, they should be proactive hunting the criminals 2. If after paying for tracking the device, one has to "mobilize them" before they help in retrieving it, isn't that concerning?? Now that we have a know location of a suspect, but they'd rather sit back and do nothing cause they weren't mobilized? Then WTF is their job. It's even funny how they charge in batches, if after tracking you don't mobilize them, your 30 - 50k is gone... So you're forced to mobilize them just so you don't lose the tracking fee. 3. After apprehending a suspect, they never seem to prosecute such people, they just demand the stolen items and some added fee, ain't that corruption? Finally, I'll say with this same mindset of the NPF, if a building is being robbed and one goes to report at the station, I strongly feel the person will be charged for mobilization and miscellaneous. This heinous act seems to be an open secret and yet the NPF is not bothered about it. Truth be told, I really feel sorry for the country where the citizens pay tax to fund salary of the police but have to pay the police directly to perform their duties.

nospmoht: ![]() You mean Gates Foundation/west brought polio to Nigeria and rest of the world? Apparently you need to study your history and do away with biased theories. Polio has been recorded since 1400bc, the US had it fair share of the polio pandemic in the 1950s long before Gate found wealth. But because you'd rather blame every other person for your own failures than look inward, you all are busy looking for who to blame. People with your mindset will blame the west for the current almajiri system when it becomes full blown pandemic tomorrow, rather than start to solve the problem now that it's still budding. ✌️ Peace bro |
nospmoht:Mention one of those health challenges with proof |
nospmoht:Says one who's fast snoring |
WriterNig:A treaty was signed long ago to ban any form of mineral or oil developments in the region. Read and stop typing in colored fonts to gain cheap attention. |
JoeEeL:How you sit and compose such high level trash baffles me. You sound all intelligent and yet can't back any of your claims with proof, I'm sure you're one of those who believe everything from the west is meant to destroy you. Anyways the Gates Foundation exists not just in Nigeria, it does in Africa and other continents so your theory holds no water without proof. I'll implore you shove your deluded view in the trash and encourage your government to be proactive in matters that makes Nigeria a better country. |
Puss360:By your post that Biden with an economy that swallows all of Nigeria's many times over, averages 9 countries annually, and our dear president has done a whooping 14 in under a year Stop making unnecessary comparison to justify recklessness and unproductivity. |
obiekunie01:You're partly right, cause you never talked about herdsmen and terrorists occupying most farming communities. CBN is only papering over the cracks with the hope that Dangote refinery would be able to significantly cushion the demand for dollar. They can't continue to subsidize the dollar for BDCs, it will eventually blow up in their faces just like dollar started gaining the day news about foreign reserve being used to subsidize the dollar officially broke. Govt should just focus on creating enabling environment for economic growth while implementing policies to ensure exchange rate doesn't cripple the economy |
Took time to watch the video, 1. The road seems to be in good condition 2. The drainage are fine too and to some extent effective 3. Canals should have been built either side of the road to channel water 4. The road seems broken but not broken. Seems broken cause of the amount of dirt and debris that have been washed on it due to the amount of rain. The guy in the video shoulda seen that but kept mute 5. Some houses were built along water channel 6. A possible structural deficiency from the engineers, multiple culverts shoulda been built under the road to allow water flow from one part to the other. Overall the guy in the video seems to be a propaganda enthusiast. The road wasn't damaged and the flooding wasn't as a result of the road. |
[s][/s] The way new generation churches emphasize seed/ sowing as a means to properity is really alarming. I'm not sure there's truly a Bible passage that support sowing seed as means to wealth. |
It's really appalling, even here on NL, quiet a number of people have been suggesting such barbaric action. Even in full blown war, military don't go around killing everyone in a community. There are lines that shouldn't be crossed, it would be a shame if NA toe the part of odi massacre in 2024 |
Person wey no get 15k for akant, how she wan take pay 150k |
Death is not the ultimate, neither is it a proof of ones relationship with God. As long as one has fulfilled purpose, it is irrelevant what age one dies. Christ died aged 33, Stephen in his prime and yet it could be said they fulfilled purpose. Paul spent half his Christian life in prison, I'm sure it he were a free man, we wouldn't have so many letters/books from him. Longevity, health, wealth, freedom are good but they are of little value in God's plan. |
These guys are really myopic. That a tool is misused doesn't mean it's bad, at every single turn the only solution is to ban things and end up more devastating effect. Why not go hard on corruption within the force that fuels the despicable act of forcing people to part with their money to officers, when will their be show of decisive and commensurate punishment for guilty ones? If POS no dey station criminals will still use outside POS. |
Poisonousman:Uncle, I've never used Tecno all my life cause ama stereotype but considering my current challenge, I probably woulda preferred it. Modified Why do I feel like you're the one who gets paid by Redmi and it blinds your judgement. If you have a reason why he shouldn't use Tenco or any other device in the market spill it and if there is a reason or advantage you think Redmi has over all the other devices then put it forward. Don't just come around with baseless accusations trying to coax OP to buying 'your fav' with his hard earned money in this Tinubu era. |
Poisonousman:I owe you no further explanation and I stand by my earlier statement. You'd be surprised to hear that I know 3 other people with varying experiences with Redmi. One of them his device also turns off like NEPA. Moreso if your device isn't at least 18 months old then I expect no arguement from you. Lastly this is not too say all Redmi have problems, I'm only saying the device is not worth the hassle and for me it's whack. |
To anyone who cares to listen Redmi is not worth the hype. I might put it in the same category with Oraimo Power bank. |
Please don't buy Redmi, it's probably a phone with semblance of quality but whack. Currently use Note 11s and after 16months I will say it is not worth it. Different issues at different time. First it starts to turn off by itself and never comes on, recently the battery hours has dropped by almost ½. I must also say the first full year, the phone was superb with no issue, but overall I think infinix and Tecno make better devices |
Yemike:Yemike, I understand your pain and a big thank you for the continual support. Here are my thoughts as someone who's SS. 1. Help them cultivate the habit of takin their routin drugs, folic acid, bco and paludrin. Truthfully we don't like taking drugs and once one is healthy, we most times forget about them. 2. Avoid stress by all means. Physical, mental, emotional and psychological. Heartbreak from a babe can land one in hospital. 3. Never strain your body. exercise, sport and labor can be detrimental, they all must learn to do these with caution and within limit. I'm not asking they become pampered and spoilt tho. 4. Get them supplements: there are lots of supplement out there can can really boost immune system and help each of them live really healthy. Find one of those. Some supplement don't work for people tho, so find the right one. I know a lot of people recommend Hydroxyurea, but I'd say it should be your last resort unless recommended by your doctor. 5. Love them with all you've got and show it, they'll need it. 6. Avoid mosquito bites by all means. Mosquito nets should be encouraged. 7. Teach them independence, they'll need it. People no too send you. Once one begin to fall sick too frequently they'll eventually get tired... Don't blame them too. 8. Keep first aid drugs around at all times, PCM, Diclofenac, Aboniki. 9. Don't let their battles drain you, you also deserve a good life 10. Help them understand they can live well, and be the best version of themselves. They must cultivate strong desire to live and enjoy life. 11. Hydration is non negotiable. Minimum 7 sachet of water daily. Regular cup shouldn't be less than 10. 12. Avoid extreme weather. Cold? Wear your cardigan. Hot? Loosen up. Lastly Make dem sabi God oooooooooooo, cause na him dey run things. |
Kinda think it is safe. A standard borehole should at least be 30m deep. While a soak away should around 2m. When water percolates, it tends to take out impurities so I feel if the borehole is safe although this should not become a regular practice |
Just simply move the meter to the pole. They want to ensure there is no bypass there |
NGOs CCSI |
shortgun:This is a flawed logic, the embryo is inside the seed not the seed itself. Eating the mango doesn't destroy the embryo, it's rather a necessity to ensure the seed can terminate to produce other mangos |
YES. I assume this thread is for Christians. While one may fall and have sexual relationship outside marriage, once he/she is able to find his feet in Christ again, he should prayerfully tell his/her partner. Tho, the consequence might be great, it surely does comes with peace of mind and a clear conscience and the beautiful thing is an exposed sin rarely thrive. Cheers |
The problem with Nigeria is that we don't have thinkers. You just want to be aloof. Name any country that became a threat to the west and see how it ended for them. Is it Egypt, Libya, Burkina Faso, Iraq..the list is endless.
