topeajis: To get admitted into a university is kind of diff bochum is a big school. I also applied to the school .i also did economics in ma bachelors I hard 4.46 they didn't give me with ma working experience oooo but try that Kiel and her Berlin. Or htw Berlin and when u want to apply don't apply to msc economics only try related course like international business also..
Thanks Tope, your post is really really encouraging and it has lifted a lot of pressure off my shoulder. And I will heed to ur advise.
Pls what do u mean that I shd apply to other related courses? Using ur example, are u saying I shd apply to international business as a course on its own, or a course like economics and international business?

Thanks Emeka and Tope, I really appreciate your effort.
@emeka, I quite understand what u mean by the course relevance. I have a Bsc in Economics major and I aced all my micro, macro, econometrics, finance, statistics and other mathematical courses to the tune of A and B's. Its only introductory econometrics that I had a D. I'm not here to bore you with my undergraduate results, I only said that to clarify your well thought post. Infact, I'm more grounded in the calculation aspect of economics and this is the main reason why I'm going for a masters in the same course as I know it will be an added advantage.
In my next post, I will paste the reply I got from Bochum

Hello all, I really need you guys to help me here cos I'm getting frustrated and unhappy and I believe you guys can help me out. I have a cgpa of 3.80 out of 5, yet. I was denied admission by the two schls applied to for a masters degree in Economics. The two schls are university of mannheim and Ruhr university of Bochum.( I applied directly to both)
Pls what do u guys think maybe wrong?
I want to apply for the next summer semester and now I will apply through uni-assist.
Pls I would like you guys to give me some schls I can apply to under uni-assist in the same course that admission would be very much possible. Any other information you think I may need that would aid my admission process would be much appreciated. Thank you so much and I hope I get responses to this cos as of now, I'm counting on you guys. Thanks so much.

Amanda6: if the course is in english u don't need german.and yes it apply to english, whether its in german, english, igbo, yoruba, if they say its restricted the rule apply. But u have 2 have a super good grade because the reason these courses are ristricted is because there a too many applicant and less seat for them, thats y only 6-8% international. What course do u want to study.i don't know if masters have restricted course, but u say urs do, so ok, but check if its state restricted, school restrict, or nation wide restriction like that of medicine.nation wide is harder to get in than any other 1.
Course restrictions depends on the schl as well. In most schls, Economics is restricted at masters level if I'm right.

Toluth: For those of us that our going for an english thought masters programme, is it compulsory for us to have a level of German language?
And how do we cope just incase we couldn't understand the language?
Thanks
I guess I didn't ask this question very well, maybe that's why I've not seen a response. What I'm asking is how do we cope without the basic knowledge of German in the market, street or any other place we may need to talk to someone. Without the knowledge of German, do I have a life outside class rooms? Thanks hope I get a response now

Pls I have 2 questions and I hope I get it answered here.
The 1st is on Zakat Fitr. I'm a student and I'm still under the responsibility of my parents but I think I'm financially buoyant, can I pay Zakat fitr?
The 2nd is on Solat. Can I pray in other languages during the last Suhjood either in the compulsory or Nawafil? I mean after reciting the normal words being recited, can I pray to God in my own language or any other languages at that?

Jobs/VacanciesRe: U-connect Invitation For Interview by Toluth(m): 10:56pm On Jul 21, 2013
oxygen25: Keeping your fingers crossed? Small time you go cross your legs, cos U-connect and Access bank are the best jokers around. Their recruitment style is crazy, after U-connect's sham tests and interviews, then one hilarious induction, where you are told to expect a call from Access bank, meanwhile this precedes the whole access bank recruitment process.

This time, you will write a very nice test (100 questions or so), then if you should pass, you will go through interview 1 and 2, while the third stage is interestingly crazy....(Lemme not talk about that), if u luckily scale through, you sign 2 years bondhuh? Imagine, when the bank is not even the highest paying bank, by the way, do not forget that before you can even get an invite from their U-connect abi na fansconnect, you need to be 24 yrs or below! Oma se o! Iya n je wa ni country yi gan o.

Anyway, we are crossing our legs like tunlex01. GOD bless our hustles.
Thanks buddy for the eye opener. But pls tell us the whole process. And when shd we be expecting the call from access bank?
Also, I heard access did test for some folks like a wk or so

cynt22: I see...lyk u cudnt fig out my name is cynthia beared by only females. Anyway, nothing special about d induction. Jst bla bla bla bla, buh dere is attendance sha. Lyk I said earlier, after u-connect we'll still face access bank's test and possibly interview(dat was how dey said it). Training is centered on customer service, den a bit of access bank's profile. So...
Oh! SoRry about that sis. And thanks for the response but I've gone for the training, but since then, I've not heard anything from both u-connect and access bank.

Good evening house and thanks for answering my previous question. I just booked an appointment now at the German embassy's website. The date I was able to book is the 5th of sept, 2013. My question is do I have to fill the online appication now since my appointment is not until 2 months away. Also, the confirmation mail sent to me is in German, should I print it like that, or I should translate the language to english before I print it. thanks for ur anticipated response.

steelie: check out university of bochum, application to some of their msc programs starts by july..what was their reason for the rejection if you don't mind?
They said they had many applicants like 524 and they have limited space like 40. So I guess it has to do with cgpa. Though mine was a 3.80 out of 5.
Anyway, can I apply directly to the said schl or through uni-assist?
@e-engineer. I happen to know someone @ exams and records in my schl, so I scanned the doc b4 it was enveloped.
TravelRe: German Embassy And Visa by Toluth(m): 8:02pm On Jun 08, 2013
topeajis: You don't need to do that.. But I won't advice u to send the original transcipt cos u might want to apply to anothe school and need the transcipt so just open it and make copies so u cetify the copies u made..
thanks for ur swift response.i scanned the transcript before sending to university of mannheim. unfortunately, i got rejected. can i use the scanned transcript to apply for anoda schl? and can i still see schls that i can apply to for this coming fall session(sept)
