Are we connecting the dots? Can we see that these guys are not "ordinary Nigerians" as they were made out to be?
I'm pretty sure this dude was a major sponsor of the same season his brother featured in. What better way to announce his younger bro to the hip & urban youth than a "Reality" TV show? Scratch my back, I scratch yours.

Quality20: good development. Oyo state is a proud testimony that muslims are clearly d best of humanity. A state with a majority muslim population voting a xtian as governor without qualms, whereas in a majority xtian state like Ekiti. Muslims had to speak out and cry out b4 they got a dep governorship position in d last elections. I doubt if Ondo and Ekiti will ever vote a muslim as governor. Even lagos st, whose political forces are controlled by muslims willingly denied muslims to allow Ambode and now Sanwoolu to become governor. The question is, can christians be this politically magnanimous to muslims? Of course not. Bigot Always wanting to fight for their god! It is only in your imagination that oyo is a state with a majority muslim population. So because the peace loving Christians have no qualm with Muslims leading the state all the while makes it look like oyo is a Muslim state |

Education › Re: 5 Reasons Most Students Are Not Offered Admission Despite High Post-utme Score by tomdon(m): 11:27am On Apr 13, 2019 |
landmark86: Big lie from Op
My younger brother have being writing UTME now for almost 4yrs, and the least of his score is 270 and 70% in every post UTME. As a serious fellow that wanna study medicine the last UTME he wrote he still scores 280 and 80% in post UTME but the useless university (Unilorin) gave him Zoology under Faculty of Science despite the fact that we are from Kwara State. Whereas a friend of mine that his cousin has lesser score was given Medicine just because they know the Registrar.
But tnx to God my brother is now in Cyprus studying Medicine. Is God not great? How possible is this You mean all the people that gained admission did not get it on merit? There is always quota for top personnel of the University, as long as their candidates don't perform abysmally, that's grace and luck. So let's assume that there's nothing wrong with that all over the world. But there will be majority of entrants who get in on pure merit. With due respect, your claim does not add up, sounds frivolous, parochial and sentimental, except you can prove it If your brother's score meets up the cut off mark, he would've been picked. Medicine is a very competitive course and the cut off mark couldve been above the 80% score of your brother. |

johnie: Wonderful speech by Oliseh.
They couldn't have picked a better person to give it.
That team remains the best Nigeria has ever produced.
I agree that a street should be named after the squad in every street, no matter if the street is fine or not.
Kudos to NFF for this honour.
Sad that Keshi, Uche Okafor, Rashidi Yekini, Thompson Oliha, and Wilfred Agbonavbare are no longer with us.
the team achieved the highest FIFA ranking position ever achieved by an African football team. (fifth) incidentally in April 1994 - exactly 25 years ago.
Clemens Westerhof and the Babangida regime deserve credible mentions for their role in developing the team.
Westerhof was given enough time to work on the team despite the early challenges the team faced.
Westerhof took charge of the team immediately after losing the Italia '90 World Cup ticket to Cameroon, taking the team to the finals of the Algiers '90 Nations Cup and four years later winning the Tunisia '94 Natiins Cup and getting the team into the second round of USA'94 World Cup.
The support for Westerhof and the team by the government, in my opinion, was unprecedented.
I don't recall Babangida being at the stadium to watch any match but Admiral Augustus Aikhomu was always there.
Air Commodore Emeka Omerua (the comedienne Chigurl's father) was sports minister then.
I've always wondered why airforce officers were put in charge of the sports ministry in those days - Omeruah, Bayo Alfa, Anthony Ikhazobor.
Thinking back now, I just realised that all of this was in the midst of the June 12 saga. Hmm... Wow all these things are nostalgic. I remember Us94 as well and I was not even a teenager yet |

jauntty: Story for the oracles
The only "Penetration" right now is the way MTN, GLO, AIRTEL and 9mobile are raping Nigerians out of the money
Let NCC start by ensuring good call qualities
Stop Airtel from zapping my data
Tell Glo to fix their slow snail crawling network
Tell MTN to stop subscribing me to some useless weekly quotes
Then we can now talk about broadband penetration Glo should not even be counted among internet providers. |
