T
sleekman: I have different methods 4 preparing indomie. If I'm really hungry boil water, pour hungry man, add cameroon pepper, beat 2 eggs and pour. Stir after 5mins and its ready. These days I reduce cabo intake so I stick 2d N35 pack if its just me.
Procedure.
Ingrdients
Indomie (N35)
Water (1/2pure water or 30cl)
Salt (1/2teaspoon)
Knorr (1cube) NB not d 2 cubes
3 spoons of oil(olive or Soya)
2 clove of garlic(big not d small local ones. If local say about cool
1 Onion (Medium size)
Cabbage (3peelings)
2 Carrots (medium size)
Shrimp (handful quantity)
3 bulbs of Tomato (medium size)
Ginger (a quartre of a finger size)

1. Boil water
2. While water is yet 2 boil dice washed cabbage,2 tomato, 1 onion, garlic and carrots. Sprinkle some salt over d tomato, cabbage and garlic/onion.
3. Pound fresh pepper and a ginger 2geda
3. Pour water in a small bowl and pour d broken indomie then cover and leave 4 5mins depending on how soft u want it. I don't like it really soft with this procedure. Then sieve.
4. Beat eggs with salt and a quartre knorr cube
5. Pour olive/Soya oil in a non-stick thai-stok fry pan. Using low heat, put in the onion, garlic and shrimps. Let it soak oil and fry a little, say 5mins.
6. Increase heat and place cabbage & carrot. Stir and leave 4 3mins.
7. Place indomie, tomato, pepper w/d ginger. Use d remainder of knorr cube and pour d indomie spice (in d small packet). Pour in some of d sieved water used 2 soak d indomie. Stir and leave 4 3mins
8. Pour in beaten egg evenly (don't stir), cover and leave 4 5mins.
9. Stir again but this time don't cover.
10. Lemme know what u think when uve tried it.
. Did u read my post well. Breaking egg on noodles is disgusting. Anyways. I'll try it

WinkWrld: Pls everyone seems to talk about indomie instead of noodles . we have other types of noodles such as duck noodles, shrimp noodles etc. Indomie is just a brand
. Thank Goodness I referred to noodles @ my post. But anyways. Nigerians call an item by the most popular brand that produces the product @ first so if indomie crashes (d company) for hundred of years noodles will still be called indomie and after that no1 will know it's a trade name.

That's what makes us nigerians. If it's common to call it indomie. Its indomie forever. Eg. Goin to a shop me'I want to buy indomie'. Woman 'which type'. Me 'golden penny'. Its already commonized same tn applies for gala.

Food › Awesome Idea To Try When You Are Making Toast Please Read by tomiobj(op): 2:47pm On Jul 27, 2014
Toasted bread tastes awesome with those open and close toaster not those pop up type. Anyways. Back to the matter. I figured out an awesome way to make toast that would suprise your guests in a fun way normally a person makes toast with butter or/and egg. But I got tired of that. I decided to put something special in the toast. And as ridiculous as it sound it makes sense. And the special something is moi-moi(beans cake). Not a joke but what you do is that you take a cool moi-moi then you break it into crumbs. Then put it in the moi-moi until it fills the bread and it's about 1 cm tall then put another bread on top and put it in the toaster to compress and heat. Please tell me your experience while eating this

lalasticlala: I used to kick against Pastors moving about with bodyguards. I was like, what do they need bodyguards for, did Jesus move about with bodyguards?
But I seem to have a rethink now.
First, there are instances where pastors were reportedly killed abroad while preaching in the pulpit.
Then just few weeks ago, it was reported that a Nigerian Redeem Pastor was killed in the North by the dreaded insurgent group operating in those regions and his family abducted.
Although I doubt if the bodyguards could have withstood the attack had it been the pastor had bodyguards.
The security situation in the country has made the need for bodyguards by Nigerian pastors a desideratum and a sine qua non.

Then about my earlier thought about Jesus Christ not moving with bodyguards doing his time, I saw one comment sometime ago that seemed to buttress the fact that he did have bodyguards.

I think his disciples were his bodyguards.
They moved along with him wherever he went to.

Recall the time some children were trying to come to him and the disciples tried to prevent them but he told them to allow them.

In another instance, at the eve of Jesus' crucifixion, during his arrest, Peter used knife (arms) to cut off the ear of one of those that had come to arrest his master (oga) in an attempt to protect him.

So Nigerian pastors should have bodyguards if they wish but shouldn't use them to intimidate others.

Correct me where necessary.
Body guard or not. When it is your time to die. You die. A pastors bodyguard should be 'the power of God in the name of jesus'

Relationship101: Kudos to all the women (and men) that are standing up against domestic abuse. Africans have experienced a large dose of abuse (especially to the women) and we need to stand up against this devilish act. I lopve women. They are queens. They are strong, energetic, important and compassionate. Damn! Did I forget to mention that they are sexy?
.....................

BUT*clears throat* for those idiots that think men are the HEAD which automatically place women somewhere beneath, I pray you fall into river niger and drown (fortunately for you, that isn't going to happen) but I still wish bad for you. To all those stupid women that has been brainwashed into thinking that they need to be beaten, harassed or maltreated for them to BE a woman, I pray you go to hell fire. You have lost your sense of becoming 'yourself'. You've sold your soul to an ideology that is contrary to the ethics of being a human being. To all those clergy that preaches 'submission' to women. I come against you with all my might. You have destroyed our women. You have made our wife remain in an abusive home simply because they need to be submissive to their fucking husband. What actually is submission? Is it the 21st century term for slavery. Woe unto you! You have made the teenagers in my street think that they need to FEAR men and give them respects they don't deserve simply because they are men.

Marriage is not a hierarchy of positions. It is partnership. It is BEING together. It is LOVE. It is kissing all night by the moon light without any thought for tomorrow. Women are not baby making machines. Their DUTY is not to be used.

A marriage without children can also be a sweet marriage if both parties agree together. Don't call the woman witch. (Yes I am talking to you the useless in-laws). Go get a job and stay away from peoples life. Women pride is my pride. Women courage is my courage. Women freedom is my freedom. I love women.
. With your post. Its more than an opinion. U wer on and on about drowning in a river and oda things. Its insultive. No offence but I think you need help. R u christian/muslim?

The distortion is the result of the Mercator map which was created in 1596 to help sailors navigate the world

It gives the right shapes of countries but at the cost of distorting sizes in favour of the wealthy lands to the north

For instance, north America looks larger, or at least as big, as Africa, and Greenland also looks of comparable size

In reality, you can fit north America into Africa and still have space for India, Argentina, Tunisia and some left over

Map suggests Scandinavian countries are larger than India, whereas in reality India is three times the size

The biggest challenge for cartographers is that it is impossible to portray reality of spherical world on a flat map

Take a look at a map today, and you’re likely to see that North America is larger than Africa, Alaska is larger than Mexico and China is smaller than Greenland.

But in reality China is four times bigger than Greenland, Africa is three times bigger than North America and Mexico is larger than Alaska.

The distortion is the result of the Mercator projection, the map most commonly seen hanging in classrooms and in text books, which was created in 1596 to help sailors navigate the world.

The Mercator projection, the map most commonly seen
hanging in classrooms and in text books, was created in
1596 to help sailors navigate the world. The familiar map
gives the right shapes of land masses, but at the cost of
distorting their sizes in favour of the wealthy lands to the
north

You might think that the advent of satellite imagery and tools such as Google maps has improved our view of the world, but this isn’t necessarily the case, according to James Wan writing in the Guardian.

Much of this is due to technical reasons, said Mr Wan, while others inconsistences are caused by ideological assumptions that can change the way we see the world.

The biggest challenge is that it is impossible to portray the reality of the spherical world on a flat map – a problem that has haunted cartographers for centuries.

One of the best alternatives to the Mercator projection was
presented in 1974 by D. Arno Peters (pictured). The Gall-
Peters projection makes seeing the relative size of places
much easier. However it also has its flaws as certain places
appear stretched, horizontally near the poles and vertically
near the Equator

How won't you people be able to make a round object flat (appear to be). Then you cut out the diameter. Then you open it up then you make it flat usn a computer software. Or you calculate the spherical budge then convert it to land mass

Jerryjat: 10. Iguazu National Park, Argentina and Brazil

The Iguazu National Park runs through Argentina and into Brazil. It protects the subtropical rainforest here, as well as the Iguazu Falls. The falls are actually made up of hundreds of waterfalls around a curved cliff. Visitors to the falls can take a boat to get a closer look or can walk through the various waterfalls by crossing catwalks. The park is home to a wide range of wildlife, including howler monkeys, jaguars, tapirs, and caimans.

Around the world, countries are preserving their most fascinating and historical areas. National parks protect the natural beauty and keep it accessible for future generations. While all parks have something lovely about them, the places on this list are some of the more amazing ones out there. Have you ever visited any of these breathtakingly beautiful parks? Do you know any other park to add to this list?

Travel › Will You Still Travel By Air After The Recent Multiple Plane Crashes by tomiobj(op): 5:06pm On Jul 26, 2014
Most of us are aware that a Malaysian plane was missing earlier this year. And a nigerian air force plane crashed nt more than 10 days ago. And another Malaysian plane was shot down either by the Ukrainians or Russians (both denying shooting it down). Personally I think the Ukrainians shot it down by mistake confusing it with a Russian plane and maybe they don't know they shot if down but anyways back to the matter also last week two other planes crashed...air algerie and a plane in Taiwan. just so tragic . About 790 lives have been lost just to plane crashes this year. The following list compiles all the plane crashes this year (or in the past 6 months if you prefer)
1. Missing Malaysian plane in the pacific ocean/indian ocean/china ocean area
2. Another Malaysian plane shot down in Ukraine near the ukrain-russia border
3. A nigerian air force plane crashes somewhere in the north
4. The plane that crashes in taiwan
5. Air algerie missing in north africa due to bad weather

My point is that would you still travel by air due to the reoccurring air disasters. Because now I am confused if this is all just a coincidence or it is now a glitch in the global aviation industry

So do you belong to the church of Apple or are you an Android enthusiast? Well, Samsung has released an ad on YouTube entitled, ‘Screen Envy’ which mocks iPhone users for their ‘patience’ at having to wait for a larger screen.

Two friends are sitting in a cafe, both looking at their phones. One has a Samsung while the other is sporting his iPhone. The iPhone carrying friend states that the ‘iPhone might be getting a bigger screen.’ “That hasn’t happened yet?” responds his friend with the Samsung, obviously sporting a much larger screen. “You know that thing you’ve been waiting on for like two years, and how it’s supposed to be awesome, and how it’s gonna blow your mind?” the narrator pipes up in an extremely sarcastic manner.

Samsung Mocking Apple Before The iPhone 6 Release.

The narrator then states:”Well it’s been here this whole time, but maybe you just like waiting.” The camera then goes in for the close-up shot of the two phones. The Samsung with an obviously bigger screen. “It’s everything you’ve been waiting for: 5.1 inches of full HD on the Samsung Galaxy S5.”

Samsung has already mocked Apple using video advertisements making fun of the iPhone’s battery life and the iPad’s screen. Adding fuel to the proverbial fire, they have now created this new video mocking the long wait for a bigger screen by iPhone users.

AlJarzirah: Carlos Slim Helú is once again the world’s richest person, thanks in large part to a sharp increase in telecom giant América Móvil’s share price both in U.S. and Mexican markets. Slim bumped Microsoft (NYSE:MSFT) cofounder Bill Gates from his perch as the world’s richest, a post Gates has held since May 2013.

The move happened on Tuesday when the value of Slim’s phone company América Móvil’s (NYSE:AMX), his largest holding, rose 1% or $805.6 million, pushing his net worth to Forbes estimate of $79.6 billion, against Gates’s estimated $79.1 billion net worth.

América Móvil’s stock has been rising since the company announced plans last week to divest some assets to comply with Mexico’s new antitrust telecom regulations. América Móvil’s shares were sharply higher last Wednesday, 24 hours after the news of the breakup. The company’s shares, which have languished the past year as a result of regulatory pressures in Mexico, jumped 10% on the NYSE the day following the breakup announcement.

Between July 1 and July 11, Slim’s wealth jumped from $74.5 billion to $79.6, a gain of $5.1 billion in 12 business days, an indication that investors are applauding Slim’s unexpected decision to reduce his phone market share below 50% as a new antitrust telecom law mandate comes into play. Investors seem to believe the outcome may actually be better for Slim’s business interests.

Currently, Slim’s América Móvil controls 70% of the mobile phone market in Mexico, and 80% of landlines.

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto signed the bill into law on Monday in an event attended by Mexico’s top telecom executives, including Carlos Slim Domitt, Slims Helús oldest son and heir apparent.

Slim fell from the top of the Forbes World’s Billionaire list in May 2013 largely due to a sharp drop in América Móvil’s stock, fueled by fears that Mexico’s new antitrust regulations would crumble his telecom empire.

Yet it appears as though the threat has reenergized him. Slim is planning to further expand his presence in Europe and Latin America. In a filing with the Mexican Stock Exchange on Monday, América Móvil said it will acquire an additional 23.47 % stake in Telekom Austria in a buyout offer, lifting the telecom giant’s interest in the company to 50.8%.
