Family › Re: My Brother Or My Wife, Who Should I Pick? by tomiobj(m): 8:22pm On Jul 20, 2014
koastar: Good day all, pls I need your advice on this issue.

A friend asked me this and I don't know what to tell him. According to him he was asked to present someone that read chemical engineering in an oil company by a close friend of his who works there.

My friend is an accountant and presently earns 60k per month where he works. He has a wife who is not working and a kid.

His wife is a chemical engineer by training and his only brother is also unemployed who read chemical engineering as well. His brother has been living with them for 2yrs now after his NYSC without job. My friend and his brother lost their parents while they were still very young and they are the only children of their parents.

My friend is now confused who to present to his friend for the job, his wife or brother. Your advice pls.

The salary for the oil job is 600k per month excluding allowances.
. Two answers. 1.if you are financially stable and don't need money that much u can gv d job to your broda. Givn your wife just doubles ur family income. Give your broda to lend him an helping hand because he will help you later when you have nothing.
2. If u need money a lot. Gv ur wyf to double your total family income and gv u more money
I personally recommend no1. But no matter the option you choose discuss it among both of them. They could add deir opinions also

Music/Radio › Re: Sorry, Slim, But Lil Wayne Is The Greatest MC Alive by tomiobj(m): 8:06pm On Jul 20, 2014
bankydd: With the release ofThe Marshall Mathers LP 2, Eminem declares himself a Rap God, featuring the King of Rap (Kendrick Lamar) on his album, and hoping to finally pass the torch ofthe rap game to a worthy predecessor. One can debate back and forth over whether Em or Jay-Z is the greatest rapper alive, but, rather than waste any time debating semantics between these two self-proclaimed "God MCs," I'm declaring the greatest MC in the history of the game to be neither Em nor Jay. History will show that the existence of a God MC is irrelevant so long as there's life on Mars.People Love the Underdog...Eminem has complicated rhymes and rhythms. There's no denying the man knows how to put together a sentenceand spit it -- if complicated equated to musicality, however, why is"Yesterday" the most covered song in pop culture and not "Crazy Train," the fast-paced and just as classic track from Ozzy Osbourne? There's nodenying Eminem is a legendary MC anda great artist, but, while he may have seemed like the innovator in real time, looking back at his archive, the majority of his work doesn't hold up. His cartoony beats, dated pop culture references (who are Moby and Carson Daly, and why is Em mad at them?) and comical lyrics mostly fall flat. Eminem's problem is he blew up too quick -- so he never really had a chanceto mature as an artist.Lil Wayne, on the other hand, came up in the shadows of Juvenile, Manny Fresh, and Baby. Whereas Em was Aftermath's LeBron James, Weezy started as Cash Money's Allen Iverson. At best, Duane Carter was a sidekick, destined to VH1 reality and dating shows. Slim Shady is Vanilla Ice with credibility and skill; he's the Yankees, and he was supposed to win. Lil Wayne is a blinged out Southern rapper like any other. There's no reason he should still be relevant, but he is. All Marshall Mathers had to do in order to stick out was show up; Weezy had to work for his -- and that's real hip-hop.Less Is More...The career-defining single for each of emcee is Eminem's "Lose Yourself," an ode to the struggle of becoming a rapper, and Lil Wayne's "Lollipop," a song about sex. Both songs are approximately five minutes long, and Em fits about 50 percent more words in his song. Weezy's lyrics are much more repetitive, so Shady is essentially working twice as hard to produce the same effect. This certainly proves Marshall is talented and hard-working. It proves he can spit complicated rhyme patterns. But is that what makes a great song? By accomplishing the same thing (a number 1 single) with half the words, Tunechi proves he has a better grasp of lyricism than the Rap God.While word count seems like a wacky way to compare two lyricists, if we're calling someone the greatest rapper alive, it's an important consideration. Lyrics are words, and, as Twitter has proven time and time again, the less words you use to express a thought, the more appealing it is. Being able to express a concise thought on a subject is the mark of a genius, and doing it melodically is a sign of a musical prodigy -- both of which describe Lil Wayne.Content Marketing...Where most people adamantly take a stance on Eminem being great while LilWayne is "garbage" lies in Shady's subject matter -- "Em raps about reallife and real problems while Wayne just talks about money, drugs, and sex." I understand what is being said, but Marshall's lyrics focus on himself while Weezy's run the gamut of subject matter, from destruction (murder) to creation (sex) to everything in between. While Shady is a master of both horrorcore and emo-rap, Tunechi not only excels at both, but can also touch on a wide variety of subjectsEminem does rap about drugs ("Drug Ballad," anyone?), guns ("Pistol Pistol"wink, and sex ("Superman"wink just like Lil Wayne, but Mr. Carter is able to touch on one universal subject that Mr. Mathers still struggles with, eveninto his 40s...How to Love. Slim is incapable of writing a love song that Justin Bieber could legitimately pull off. The sign of a truly classic song is in its ability to be covered by artists from different generations, and Lil Wayne's discography will stand the test of time longer than Eminem's because compassion is what truly lasts. Em is incapable of expressing compassion without betraying his image. Weezy can release an entire album of love songs; Shady can't.A Goon to a Goblin...Relatability is an important consideration when determining an artist's "star power," and Eminem is much more relatable than Lil Wayne on the surface. Em is an every man who everyone can relate to on some level, while Tunechi is subtitled in his interviews. Aside from having a recognizable face, Slim dresses, looks, and acts like everyone else on the streets (albeit a bit more amped up). He could be anyone's son, neighbor, father, brother, etc. If you showed up to work looking like Weezy, on the other hand, you're going to be fired, and probably arrested. Lil Wayne is a Martian, and if it weren't for music, he wouldn't fit in anywhere.Unfortunately for Em, star power doesn't equate to being the best MC, and his relatability is only skin deep. People may get angry and want to kill themselves or someone else in their head every so often, but a large portion of his portfolio is angry. Basically, Eminem is a really good battle rapper, which is one of the moreclassical styles of hip-hop. Lil Wayne, however, pushes the sonic boundaries of the game to new levels. Both"Lollipop" and "How to Love" take hip-hop to levels that Shady is incapable of pulling off. Weezy is talented in any musical genre; Marshall Mathers is not.The Real Slim Shady...Unlike the classic debate over 2Pac or Notorious B.I.G. being the greatest MC ever, both Lil Wayne and Eminem are still very much in the game and cranking out hits, with each artist sitting on discographies of over 1000 tracks. As long as Em outlives Wayne (and, unless Weezy shares genes with Keith Richards, it's a definite possibility), Shady will have the last word. He still has a chance to release aunique album that breaks his formulaic approach to music. Eminem could possibly test the boundaries of rap in an unexpected way. That day may never come, however, and until it does, Lil Wayne is the undisputed greatest living MC
. Wo. Ur story is too long. Lil Wayne ko Wayne rooney ni. Wizkhalifa and nas r bera than Lil wayne

Dragonking: 9. Cheeseburgers:

"Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk." - Exodus 23:19

Okay, so the cheeseburger is not specifically banned by the bible, but the concept is basically the same. The Jews were instructed not to cook an animal in its mother's milk, but we often eat cow meat covered in cheese... which comes from cows.
. Sorry to drill this post. But this should only apply to Jews because Christians only go by the rule of the new testament
For example. The old testament says an eye for an eye. A tooth for a tooth. But the new testament says if a man slaps you onthe left cheek you should turn over the other side.

myspnigeria: An aircraft carrying U.S. military personnel today has made an emergency landing in the middle of a highway after running out of
fuel, Ugandan police said. The Piper aircraft with eight people on board, including two crew members was returning to Uganda's Entebbe International
Airport when it had to make an emergency landing in Mityana town, some 67 kilometers (about 41 miles) from the Ugandan
capital of Kampala. No one was hurt and the aircraft wasn't damaged, but motor traffic flow was seriously disrupted.
The said aircraft was initially heading to South Sudan but it couldn't land there and had to return to Uganda. It was not immediately clear why the pilot could not land in South Sudan.

Are you a classy, art-loving type of person? Do you indulge yourself with the finest furs, foods and liqueurs? Do you struggle with the fact that, now matter how expensive your imbibed goods of choice are, they all come out the other end worth absolutely nada? Artist Tobias "Tobi" Wong heard your prayers and delivered. The late artist created a pill that will "turn your innermost parts into chambers of wealth." Yes, you read that right, this pill art turns any indulgent rich kid with a regular bowel movement in to an art-maker par excellence.

The bizarre conflation of luxury and inflated consumerism was part of a collection called INDULGENCE, commissioned by the Museum of Modern Art in 2005 and designed by Tobias Wong and Ju$t Another Rich Kid, aka Ken Courtney.

The collection aimed to create desirable goods for the wealthy kid who already possessed it all; another featured item was a gold-dipped pen cap turned into a cocaine spoon. But the artwork has experienced a recent resurgence from a website named CITIZEN:Citizen. What's the going rate to turn your excrement into a precious mineral, you ask? It's $425 for a 20 mm pill, but it's unclear as to how much gold excrement this will yield. Unfortunately at this time the golden pills are "currently unavailable" on CITIZEN:Citizen's online store, so you likely won't be finding them in your stocking this year.

Wong is not the first artist to experiment with the combination of gold and feces, in case you were wondering. In 2007, Terence Koh reportedly sold his own gold-plated excrement for $500,000. (The endeavor was apparently such a hit, he ended up selling the excrement alone for a bargain $150.) But Piero Manzoni did it first; in 1961, the Italian artist allegedly canned his own feces in a work entitled, "Merda d'artista" ("Artist's Shit"wink. The Tate even bought a can, and Jo Carole and Ronald S. Lauder lent one to the Museum of Modern Art as well. Although the actual contents are in question, the spirit of the project survives in Koh's and Wong's insouciant projects.

What do you think readers? Would you ever pop a pill for precious poop

What most people say is 'it dosen't matter what she did,its never ok to hit a woman' but if you believe women are truly equal to men then it follows that any appropriate reason to hit a man is also an appropriate reason to hit a woman.there aren't a lot of reasons to hit anyone but having a vagina dosen't magically make you a fragile creature that can't deal with getting punched the same as a man.

'WHAT IS DORO? For ur information, DOROBUCCI is a freaking occult song>=). Let me explain, Oluwa means God in Yoruba, Chineke Or Chi means God in Igbo. Doro is also a name of a god... Doro is a godmavins formula, DOROBUCCI is just to praise their god. They produced the song dorobucci in other to achieve more doro worshippers and that's why they put Dorojazzy, Dorotiwa,Dorosi dX-o :]x. Now some people would change there original beautiful names from Oluwabisi to dorobisi, chidinma to dorodinma, seun to doroseun, some even Behind the occultic name e.g lil stunna doroyinka. Car Talk › How 2 Prepare Ur Car For The Fast Approaching Rainy Season.ur Methods Are Welcum by tomiobj(op): 10:54pm On Jul 09, 2014
Please comment so this can make fp.
After the brief dry season the peak of this rainy season is fast approaching and I have devised some points in preparing your car for the rainy season
1.Dont waste your money in washing your car,@ the peak of the rainy seasons we will xpect lyk 8 thunderstorms in a day...so let the rain wash the car for you. And due to the bad roads in Nigeria..your car will get dirty again so there is no point in washing your car.
2.spread some newspaper on the floor of your car or if you want to be more fancy. Use cardboard. Because whether you like it or not you will have to pick up people and odds are they have muddy shoes on and the mud could seriously stain your footmat
3. (a little bonus for yourself)Always keep an umbrella at the back of your car because it's not usually funny if heavy rain gets you when you are still in your car
4. During the peak of the rainy season. Mornings are always cold. You can save energy and fuel by rolling down your glass and switching off your ac
5. Always drive slower during the rainy season especially if your road is bad. driving fast will cause a build up of mud under your car and when it dries. It will increase the weight of your car and this will burn up more fuel
6.service your car. You will need to service your car because no no would want their car to break down in traffic underlain or in a water logged area
7. Avoid muddy/bad roads. Its better to pass a road that is longer than a shorter road that's bad.you might think this vice versa but it's true it's not distance that ascertains your fuel consumption. Its the energy used so passing ditches and portholes takes a lot more fuel than you think.

This is how I am preparing my car for the second part (the peak) of the rainy season. Your additions/comments/questions are welcome

This Writer Nailed it with ” Baddo, have you heard of the point of equilibrium? That’s the point when the law of diminishing return sets in.” Share your thoughts

“I am a fan of yours and I have followed your growth from the days with ID Cabasa and the Coded Tunes crew, to your days under Toni Payne‘s management. Parting ways with her was quite risky but I felt it was a move worth making as you needed a fully dedicated management to grow your career. That move paid off and you’re now better off for it.

Pitching your tent with 1805 Entertainment, your immense talent and the void left by Dagrin‘s demise meant only one thing – A top spot for you! I am glad you fit in perfectly. A bolder move to start YBNL Nation and you going ahead to drop your second album on the YBNL Nation/1805 Entertainment imprint was another risky move that still paid off. At that point, I knew the ‘god of music’ was behind you.
Though it wasn’t so surprising to see the street embrace the album cos of it quality street wise content, the rate at which the ‘butties’ accepted you too was alarming. People preached the YBNL gospel and gladly talked about how good the album was. Even my cool friend Fola Alade became an advocate of ‘Razz being the new Cool’, no thanks to you. But while we where enjoying Jale, Street Love, Jesu O kola, Stupid Love, First of All, Ilefo Illuminati amongst other beautiful songs, dear Olamide, you unconsciously killed the album!

Yes, you unfortunately killed it by releasing too many materials not so long after the album dropped and you shifted our attention off the album. To make matters worse, some of these songs were not half as good as the songs on the album and they also were not wellpromoted, Confession, Tonto Dike, Baddest Nigga That ever liveth, e.t.c. Needless to say that some were also really good, cos some of us still have Turn Up and Durosoke topping our playlists.
Baddo, have you heard of the point of equilibrium? That’s the point when the law of diminishing return sets in. It happens to everything and everyone. In simple terms, it’s the point where you get to the peak, have nothing extra to offer and the drop starts. To some, the drop might not be deep while to some, they would never rise to that point again. Unfortunately, this happens a lot in the music industry. While we agree that you are HOT at this moment and the inspiration is much, brother, please do not wear yourself out. Ma le ara e ni ere.
Truth is when you saturate the market with too many materials, we get tired easily, we don’t pay full attention to them and the songs end up not getting as much love as they should. Keep recording, keep saving them in the cloud and don’t push too many songs within a short period. Let the fans yearn for more, let us savour the goodness of some of what you already have.

On a final note, I love the way your personality is gradually evolving ‘cos building a brand of yourself should be beyond your music. I foresee a near future where corporate brands that want to connect with the streets would come to you, simply because you are the link between the streets and the corporate world. A celebrated grass to grace story. The true voice of the streets.
