EVILFOREST:
Is something really WRONG with these NEW BUSES or the DRIVERS..?
Buses are driven by humans. Accidents are caused by human beings.

When driver is speeding (usually above 110 km/h) passengers don't complain because "they are usually covered with the blood of Jesus"... So when any little emergency comes up, the speed is usually too much for drivers to save the day.

Politics › Re: How EFCC Almost Arrested Aisha Buhari’s Impostor – Ribadu by tomquest: 6:13am On Jun 23, 2016
What a rocket science case it must have been! For 10 years EFCC could not arrest an "imposter" in the lawful country called America. And she even recently renewed her Nigerian passport. Stories for the canaries indeed.

Did EFCC or the relevant agency also investigate the oluwole passport released recently?

Yes a Daura President is ruling us but we are not all from Daura!

But is cheating actually common with Yoruba married men? I've heard a lot being said regarding that. If true, how do their wives feel about it?

Phones › Re: A Thread For Those Who Despise Tecno Products by tomquest: 12:02am On Jun 22, 2016
Ok this your "TECNO wailers thread" is really not necessary. TECNO is cheap, fanciful, and consoles those who can't afford the other big names in the game, appeals to those who want more for less cost.

But you need to know that when something is truly good, over time it would definitely speak for itself. We don't need threads like this to promote it. It's a natural thing about marketing to expect good products to tell their own stories, or market themselves so to speak. When you see an HTC or iPhone, you fall in love. When you read their reviews, your confidence is strengthened.

Close this thread and allow market forces to judge these gadgets. Allow their numerous users to give their first-hand reviews regarding phone specs on paper/box versus actual phone output, strength and durability of hardware, after-sales customer service and other value added services that come with a brand which wants respect in the marketplace.

This thread is uncalled for.

Celebrities › Re: A Lot Of Women In Abuja Today Are Nothing But Runs Women - Charley Boy. by tomquest: 9:32pm On Jun 21, 2016
Charley Boy has made a lotta sense and only the wise would take his advice. Crash-bound guys would always fall for the pussytraps of "smart" ladies who are looking for baggage to share.

The risky thing about this category of ladies is that they don't keep to a single guy, and we all know what comes with such wakawaka...

Let's stick to our families while these pretty category of babes go back to their dads to foot their premium bills...

In saner climes Saraki would be in jail as we speak. Oh no not in Nigeria my Nigeria! Where looters are celebrated and even given posthumous awards... May God forgive our collective indolence at refusing to burn these greedy dudes at the stakes of justice.
Politics › Re: Aisha Buhari & Jefferson Bribery: Fayose Revives Aisha's 'Role' by tomquest: 9:41am On Jun 21, 2016
This thread keeps growing longer than the railway lines of Canada simply because Nigerians are great at the art of "analyzing the messenger instead of the message"... Every time an issue is raised in this Lord Lugard's contraption, all we read are analysis upon analysis bothering on tribe, religion, elitism, politics and yo-manisms; the key issues are hardly given a run for their money. Are we infinitely supposed to extinguish a candle simply because we don't like it's bearer?

Funny, but it's you who has limited mindset and knowledge of the world around you, since you believe that people from Anambra state have special brains than the rest of the world. Your ignorance is totally out of this world.
Dust out your brains Mister DUSTmalik and comprehend the simple point I've made. I won't be responsible for your childish inferences. End of discussion!

And you think there aren't others out there who are as young and even more qualified, that never got such job? Do you think he was picked out of the blue? The point is, some kind connection led to his appointment.
This mindset of yours would limit you. Go and read the stories of most Anambra big shots of today and you would be amazed at where they are coming from. Anambra is not Abuja where dullards are made to lord it over others because of their influential surnames. Anambra's got brains you just can't ignore, irrespective of who their parents are...

I love my state Anambra because this young commissioner would not be boot licked because he's young, well educated and rich. Every community or village in Anambra can boast of intellectuals who are equally fit for the position. They are scattered all over the globe. We respect and support Willie because he respects us all. He knows Ndi Anambra are go-getters. We respect his choice, we are proud of this young son of ours. He symbolizes the vibrant soul of an Anambra youth...
Travel › Re: Woman In Labor, Husband & Brotherinlaw Die In Accident by tomquest: 9:16am On Jun 20, 2016
Many of us would pretend as if we don't know why Nigeria has the highest cases of fatal auto crashes. We will just mutter "chisos!" and then move on with the same lifestyle that leads to fatal accidents:

1) over speeding
2) reckless driving
3) drunk driving
4) expired tyres
5) driving without seat belts
6) disregarding traffic commands (makes us feel smarter)
7) poor car maintenance culture.
cool learning on the highway without the L sign or permit
9) allowing kids drive our cars on the roads without proper training and license.
10) obtaining drivers license through the back door (corruption sweet corruption)

And then when it happens, we become religious (as seen from a lotta comments above) and start mentioning the devil's name.

RIP while the rest of us continue with the reckless way we exist on the highways, hoping we shall last...

WOMAN

you are the burning zeal
behind a lioness- motivation
you are the presidential seal
over every soul-declaration
there's something about you
not hidden, burning like the sun
there's nothing you can't do-
so effective, shooting like a gun
you are who you are, unique
like a fingerprint, self representing
you define your own technique
awesomely, never misrepresenting
i've come to know you well
for all that you are- womanhood
well, i wish to see your ego swell
so you'll be an envy to manhood

Most nigerians still don't get it.

They respond quickly to quantity offers than quality services. Now dats why anyone can make a run for ur money without any stress.

I told myself even if Glo likes, let them make 1 gb 100 naira, as long as their Internet service is slow, i'm not buying! Pretty simple.

My only option now is airtel. If only etisalat could get sense a Lil bit and reduce their rates for Internet subscription, it would be worthwhile.
Airtel and MTN seem to be doing pretty well.
