BellaElla: Wow, this is astounding. So u mean Igbo ladies like myself that married out of our tribes are bad with dirty histories. Simply incredulous!!!! Your logic is embarrassingly flawed. I wonder where u have been to or how you grew up, your thought process is shockingly backward. If you have mingled at all or worked with big organizations you would know that one great factor that influences choice of life partner is location. It would be foolish of one to pass up on good men or women around them simply because they are from different tribes or because they do not want to be termed wayward. God! I feel retarded even typing this. I have heard lots of ludicrous statements but clap for yourself, this one takes the cake. One I have lived outside Nigeria for years and I didn't get complacent to marry them...so its not location dear it complacency and lack of knowing what you want I have also worked in a big bank for years ...maybe a Nigerian quoted bank isn't what you meant and in Lagos for that matter ..so the choice of partner didn't change ....still focus Now maybe you think that parents are illiterate ..hell no very educated both pops and mumsy so it not upbringing I think you were either complacent or infatuated then But I tell u..in marriage love is the least thing to consider ... There are better stuffs like compatibility and cultural synergy..love grows But wishing u the best.... Hey today is val ! |

obailala: There is a clear difference between 'opposition' and endless 'nagging' like a scorned 2nd wife. Everybody cannot like Buhari and nobody is asking everyone to like Buhari (elections are loooong over) but there is something called 'minding your business' or 'not giving a damn' when a person you don't like passes by.
If we must be honest with ourselves, the way most Igbos are carrying this Buhari's matter on their head today can obviously not be classified as 'opposition' or 'not giving a damn,' what we have today is clearly a case of people nagging and stressing themselves unnecessarily as if Buhari will rule forever - at most Buhari may only even rule till 2019. It is high time Igbos returned to the 'we dont give a damn' mode and stop some unnecessary nagging which may not be beneficial 'development-wise'. This is just my opinion though. Pls differentiate between opposition and this your nagging I know that your the dullard the bubu apologist |

sweetgala: You've been watching too much cartoon, the British has a most ferocious Armada, their naval might was all conquering and the organization of their fighting force advanced for most of the armies that came their way.
As dangerous as drones can be their is a limiting factor which is a small payload, the primary uses of drones remain selective assassination and extended surveillance.
Effective anti air defense renders a drone useless, they are slow flying, limited defense and very expensive to deploy a large fleet.
The reason drones make sense in the COIN missions in Iraq, Afghanistan is because the marines and SOPs have already done the dirty ground job. From now until effective fighting robots are developed drones would never replace boots on ground.
There is nothing the US want more than boots on ground in Syria no matter how many sorties they fly , the effectiveness of srike missions can never match a well trained soldier. If the effectiveness can match well trained soikders why is our army complaining of modern war tools ....or will you deny that Do you know why the world war 2 stopped...its simple technology ...ATOMIC BOMBS just two dropped ..with all the Japanese kamikazes fighter pilots Just two bombs stopped it Bin Laden's was fished out with drones ..have your heard of 99.99% presicion bombing Why is NORTH KOREA making noise ...because they gave modern war chest ..not humans Now let me lecture you strategy 101 Before you capture a territory there is what is called collaboration between the air bombardment and the one from the sea via war ships and subs ...that's is if the enemy territory is littoral.. This will create a shock and awe syndrome in enemy camp Then after this you send few tropues preferably vangaurds and snippets with recoignanse ...they wikkk do the mop up...this us depending in the weakness of the enemy I insist that we need a modern war chest not 200k army Qunatity ain't quality though they might sound alike Now ...say thank you for this brief crash course cum lecture ...its my valentine gift to you It's free |

This man you don't get it When USA or Russian goes to war they don't send tons of troupes they send well motivated and intelligent troupes not these zokachi abunchi ones we have I keep saying it ....its better to have few tropues that are highly technology compliant than bunch of troupes Our army still uses a 1947 Kalashnikov riffle...what a travesty ..have you seen NATO defence forces using that or even isreali army Omo go and upgrade your defense system and do research not recruiting tons of innocent men This is 21st century Wake up now the coffee is still hot with cream Oga |

obailala: As far as I'm concerned, the typical hausa-fulani man does not like an igbo man but if there is any special hatred or bias buhari has for igbos today, it is as a direct result of the way the SE has been treating him since the pre and post 2011 and 2015 election era all because of GEJ. It is high time the SE realises that elections are over now and that GEJ is no more; this is the time to go back and attend to our businesses and forget this buhari matter because buhari will not even be president forever. I can beat my chest and say buhati did not harbor any particular hatred for igbos especially when he picked igbo running mates in 2003 and 2007. All these allegations and counter allegations are just GEJ sentiments. Igbos don't do heard mentality Igbos don't do flock mentality Everybody won't like buhari Everybody never liked Jesus Everybody never like Muhammed Everybody never liked budha So buhari is just a mortal and he will be opposed and igbos are doing that job perfectly The beauty of opposition is democracy Now how is your kunu sipping gworo chewing god faring ...is he back in the country Has he given you the 5k monthly promised Has he made fuel 40 naira Gas he technically defeated boko haram Has he brought back chibok girls Has he made dollar at par with naira Has he balanced the governance in terms of age and tribes Has he put square oegs in square holes Has he....so many things You must understand that there is opposition. And igbo are doing that Do igbos even give a damn I doubt that |

sweetgala: Here comes someone who has little knowledge of military tactics and war plans. The main question we need to ask is if we have enough men in the armed forces to secure our wide expanse of land as it is right now.
The answer remains no, hopefully a great number of those new intakes would be military professionals, architects, engineers etc who can reduce our dependency on foreign technology in our defence structure. Mr military strategist ..war is t won on the population of soldiers but sophistication and intelligence of few This is why isreal won the war This is why Biafra took years to fight when they called it police action This is why Rome and British ruled the world with few army Oga a well modernized drone with anti ballistic and air to surface missile can do what a battalion and infantiry can do A well sub marine can wreck devastating effects on a city like say port Harcourt and Lagos in 24 hours then some few tropues maybe a brigade will do the mopping up Having bunch of 200k military won't guarantee peace If you have ever travelled to developed countries you won't be seeing police everywhere but CCTV and IPTV ..this is technology ....technology will do the work of thousands men put together ...tats is modern missile When ISIL was making noise Russian sent missile like thousands miles to nuke or bombard them from Caspian Sea ...the devastating effects t was colosal..this is why nations invest in research and development but here in nigeria we want to recruit tons and tons of men Oga this is 21st century ...its technology that rules every thing even military Wake up and smell the coffee ...its decaffeinated |

The problem I have with Nigeria is lack of focus and priority
Why increase army Why not increase education, infrastructure etc
1000 intelligent corps will defeat 200k army battalion
History proved it in Sparta wars Isreali Arab wars Biafrans war
The key thing is intelligence, education
Quality is better than quantity
