SLIDEwaxie: I neva bilivd some eastern dunces will want Yoruba to start claiming kabba just because they speak some diluted Yoruba language and they bear Yoruba names.
Just like your royal idiots kept wanting port Harcourt just cos u they speak igbis and bear igbo names. All is down to proximity.
You guys shld wake up and stop claiming everywhere...

melzabull: I feel dismayed and disheartened when I see or hear some people falling for the divide and rule antics of the northern oligarchs, and sadly too even some supposedly educated folks fall for this trick.
Igboland goes well beyond the 5 SE geopolitical states as is presently constituted. I dare to say that 65% of rivers state is Igbo and 1/3 of delta state is Igbo (where I proudly hail from).
It is common knowledge that some unscrupulous elements mostly from the tribe of rituals and incest are the ones using the facade of 'we' niger deltans or 'we' SS to deceive either the gullible or the novices not just on naira land but on cyberspace generally. They have claimed ikwere, ijaw, delta state and recently they claim middle belt. Now they have gone as far as opening monikers with Igbo names and make anti -igbo comments while pretending to be Igbo.
I also detest that delta-igbo nonsense. For all I care and know nothing like delta Igbo. Igbo is Igbo irrespective of your state of origin. I am Igbo from delta sate and if you refer to me as delta-Igbo I will give you a stern warning. And i notice this is mostly with igbos in delta that are refered as such. You dont hear rivers Igbo, at most its ikwere you hear, and personally we really shouldn't give a damn about them cos when the time comes, they will beg to belong, so I'm less bothered about them
I urge igbos everywhere to unite and fight against our common enemies (offline and online) and be very resolute against those who wish to oppress us our goals, ambitions and aspirations. If you are newbie and you oblivious of the treachery of our enemies to create disunity and acrimony amongst us, I will manage yo forgive you, but if you've been on NL for a while and you're yet to decipher these antics of our detractors, then I will unapologetically call you are very big FOOOL.
My hats off for likes of ezepromoe, easklink madenigga etal true Igbo sons from river state. My Anioma siblings one3naira (has been keeping it real for ages) fr3do, Elton123 menabadoo, etc etc. and of course my siblings in SE, our overall resolve for unity and freedom must not waiver.
Using opportunity also to appreciate our cousins from akwa ibom, C/R most notably, new2020, NDPV/supremeXYZ, and other notable SS like patrick89, wombraiders/revdesmondjuju et al who share in our dreams and aspirations.
God bless us all! What about ugomba |

lagbaja: The report talked about states with highest CASH TRANSACTIONS, this is mostly common with states where a lot of retail activities goes on. States involved in high volume agriculture and manufacturing are not likely to be involved in high volume cash transacrions. High cash transaction has nothing to do with economic viability. They don't use cash in agricultural business ..they use cowries or barter Find another gist |

Gbawe: I don't care how you and others view me. Only failures and insecure folks will come here looking for e-relevance, e-love and e-respect that does not pay ones mortgage/rent or fuel ones car. This is what you and others do here daily. I.e once defeated by fact and superior logic you resort to insults and character assassination. The fact is that OP goofed because he is a bigot and you supported him blindly because you are prejudiced also. The Yoruba names he mentioned are names of technocrats. No doubt about that for anyone who knows who a technocrat is.
You can append the word "corrupt" to Fashola's name all you want but it is only an anti-Yoruba biogt who will not admit the man is one of the finest technocrats in Nigeria. You think making Lagos virtually the only financially independent state in Nigeria, and one that would be one of the largest economy in Africa if an independent Nation, is not indicative of a very high level of technocratic ability? I really pity you and others because it is obvious prejudice and a parochial mindset will prevent you from achieving much in your daily lives. Fashola and Fayemi will be excellent and deserving Ministers who will serve Nigeria well and help Buhari succeed same as their Igbo Ministerial compatriots. You should try to see Nigeria for once and stop your ethnocentric proclivity that has obviously warped your thinking. Lagos is not the only financial independent state ...I wonder how you people arrive at conclusion State like anambra was buying some states bonds ..in a lay man term its borrowing them money . and bayeksa and all these oil producing states are they not financial independent But I agree with you...people shout our people are in government but it have not translated to their life becoming meaningful So whoever is there doesn't buy fuel in my car nor pay my rent That is what these small boys won't get |
