And again IMO destiny has nothing to do with accepting Jesus Christ by ALL, I strongly believe that every activity and motive as seen today make up the grand plan divinely orchestrated by the Creator. The likes of Pharoah, Esau, Saul et al will attest to this. |

No! A destiny cannot be changed. Point is maybe we should look up the definition of destiny. des·ti·ny (dst-n) n. pl. des·ti·nies 1. The inevitable or necessary fate to which a particular person or thing is destined; one's lot. 2. A predetermined course of events considered as something beyond human power or control: A destiny is not and should not be likened to a destination. All men were created to die: yes! this is a destiny because it is a necessary fate. A destination by definition is simply but a place to which someone is sent and nothing more. Now how right will it sound to say that man's destiny is to be sent to earth. it sounds rubbish! But rather, a clear discourse on the subject of destiny will be to ask the question "what was man created to do here?" not "where did man come from or where will man go after death?". |

I say this on the following grounds based on your suppositions that: You think that "the land of milk & honey" could simply have meant the same thing as "the land of black gold". If so( judging by this), it then means Heaven(where we intend to rest for awhile until our new Jerusalem come) may just be a place where we could have "a glorified earth" where all 'em bad guys arent to be found anymore. Probably a place where the supposed "street of gold" may just be a place that could be adjudged as a "street of high value" sort of. Meaning naira was twice stronger than the dollar, which therefore also connotes to that fact that 500,000 naira was $838926.17 cents (Approx. $840,000) in 1979. Do you know what this value meant then?, it meant that Dangote was given a loan of $840,000 to start a bizness in 1979. My guy if you multiply this dollars against the current naira exchange, we will be talking of Now lets move further, In 2000, the value reversed to favor the dollar, $1 became N1 = $85.98 N500,000 = $42,990,000 Inotherwords, the value in 2000 of what Dangote got as loan in 1979 to start a business was $43million. My guy lets assume, the naira-dollar reverse began in 2005 till date, now to get the real face value of Dangote's loan grant will be $43million X N160. My guy make we no even calculate am. This is to show you how Nigeria's economy as a nation has failed woefully. . .I maynot be good in accounting but simply logic will put that 500,000naira value to 500million naira today.
