In fact, I work with many of your kind without discriminations. I try the much I can to present to them the thorough brainwashing they have suffered under men like Oyedepo and thankfully some of them are seeing they have been used. I have not gotten to the point where I will refuse to employ somebody because I think he is wasting the money I pay him or her on peddlers of money seed gospel. I can only bring your attention to it when you initiate a discussion on it or you throw an invitation for one of your church business seminars. But then I warn against stickers on the office doors, limits productivity when a sheeple believes that a Shiloh sticker hypnotizes customers and curry favours. I think you may like to see things differently some day. You may see reasons why I think Oyedepo does not have any striking resemblance to Jesus Christ. I will henceforth bring to a close my opinions on the alternative gospel and money- salvation messages of your Bishop on this forum. If seed sowing is not scriptural, then Jesus lied and Apostle Paul lied also for they all taught about seed sowing.----- @ken4Christ. Neither Jesus nor Paul lied about seed sowing but the seed sowing parables of Jesus or that of Paul is not talking about money seed but the labour of the gospel preachers and the Word they preach. Misinterpretations for personal enrichment by Merchants and Pastorpreneurs turned all the parables to mean planting money to reap money. You have not shown any passage that has instructions for Christians to sow money seed to reap double money or sow seed for every prayer that will pass to God through the Pastor, which is the bone of contention here. This is the aspect that I know the said Pastor declares to be false and it is the tool fraudulent pastors and Bishops use for personal enrichment. Let's briefly look at your quotations on seed to see if it is about money. Luke 6: 38. The Give there is all encompassing and to say it is relating to the subject of seed money is unfair. It didn't even restrict giving to a Church as most churches exclusively use it to rake in money. Mark 10:29-30 Is also not about seed money but dedication to duty and selflessness exemplified by the European missionaries for instance who left the comfort of homes and better life to the forests of Africa in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries to teach about Jesus. 2 Corinthians 9: 10 is not about money doubling but the word of God preached (seed) planted into lives which grows or multiplies into numerous fruits of righteousness ( disciples of righteousness) Gal 6: 7, in fact, from vs 1 through 10. Is not discussing seed money in anyway. It is talking about sowing seeds of good deeds among Christians. It is not saying sow seed money and you will reap double seed money. Character and its reward is the main point there. The old testament references do not either refer to the seed money, although, a Christian is not bound by them. Your analogy with Abraham giving Isaac to get a fruitful Israel as nice as it sounds does not apply to any Christian who believed that all the sacrifices are complete in Jesus. One does not need to sow his son by extension money through a Pastor, to God before one's prayers will pass. You rightly said through his death access was granted to many children why then do faithless generation enrich many deceivers who teach that Jesus is not sufficient an access to God. But a seed money will open the doors Jesus can't open. If you have other references of seed money and money doubling bring it on. There is no justification for that teaching except greed and for enrichment of certain characters. Christians when it concerns money, are instructed to give offerings and alms which in themselves do not relate to seed money for money doubling. The ungodly part of it is the segregations associated with it, if it is possible to have the Aso ebi without discriminations on other things, then there is no need of a general statement making it ungodly. The general statement will invariably mean that the members of his Church who also deal on and supply the materials are also engaging in ungodly trade. Every other thing he said in his motivational talks were not as moving as marrying the testimonies of the selected men and the need to sow seed to experience financial doubling. In my recent posts on this forum I challenged the fraudulent seed sowing concepts for virtually everything in today's Christianity. Jesus didn't teach that people must sow money seeds as part of prayer rituals. The Apostles didn't teach that either. And I asked which Father will demand that his children should sow seeds before he can grant their request for school fees, feeding needs, clothing needs and any other needs for that matter. How much more God Almighty. I don't believe Oyedepo is a man of God. A shrewd Businessman is the best description of him and all who talk like him.
