Good evening my nairalander,there is a challenge am currently facing and I will like to share them with you,its about this loan app people.
It all started some months back when I received a call from a strange number but I wasn't around to pick the call.The number also called some days later and my younger sister happened to pick and I inquired from her who it was and what were they saying but she couldn't understand what they were saying from what she told me.The number called for the third time and this time i was the one that pick, I was saying hello hello but the person on the other side just kept saying words that I could bearly hear him but towards the end of the conversation ,I heard him saying someone has default in payment and I was used as a guarantor so they are planning to take legal actions.
From the last conversion that I listened to,I knew the name of the person they were calling that has defaulted in payment ,i immediately called the guy to inquired from him if he used me as guarantor but his response was that he did not apply for loan but he works their and he has reported the matter that other people also called him and complain about it.my fear now is they have been calling me with different number and I have been blocking it ones I see its them.hope I might not be affected in any way because am afraid make dem no kon block or recover part of the money from me....

wow. This exact same thing happened to me. Anybody can just put any phone number down as a guarantor. The thing is very strange and annoying and the people doing that are just wicked. They could have just put a fake number but they put someones number . Its so sad

Then drastic actions is needed

Visit Google contacts and wipe all the contacts you don't the company to send bulk SMS too

You must have a Google email or account to do this

Wipe all the numbers from the Google server

Then, synchronize your phone contact with Google server

Everything you wiped out, from Google contact will be removed from your phone

Then go to your whatsapp and synchronize it , all the contacts on whatsapp will be wiped off

Delete all the numbers from WhatsApp that you don't want

If they don't go, keep synchronizing

Once you have successfully synchronized all your contacts on your phone with Google contact, turn off auto synchronization in your Android devices

This was how I dealth with Lcash and Lioncash

They were unable to send messages to my contacts because by wiping off all my contacts from Google contacts, and updated my phone contacts, they lost all the phone contacts in their own computers ,So when they sent their bulk SMS, nobody got it

It was only me , that got it

They threatened me with all manner of messages , when I repayed their money, I paid some extra interest. They kept troubling me for over three months, I just ignored them.

The last time, someone chatted me on Whatsapp, I told the guy I heard the company I owned by some Chinese idiots.

That that's why they are misbehaving. That I won't pay that small balance ,whether they like it or not.

That was how, I handled them. They stopped harassing me.

Instead of commiting suicide or risking bulk SMS being sent to your contact

If there are some numbers you can't do without ,writw them out in a diary and wipe off everything and anybody you don't want to be sent bulk SMS by the loansharks.

I trimmed my contacts from almost 440 something to 11.

One of them called me and was like , I will wreck your life.i said go ahead na. She said I should wait by 6om she would do it.

I guess she later discovered that, there were about 11 contacts in her own computer in the office. So what would be achieved by sending bulk SMS to eleven people ?

No bulk SMS can enter any of your contacts numbers, if the contact number is not on Google server. Because google owns Android.

The loan sharks cant embarass you, if you know this code

Do this before your loan enter default and they start focusing on you. Don't wait for your contacts to recieve embarrassing sms before you do so.

So I desired to install the loan app in my phone and took loan of 14k and 9k.
And now they are disturbing me to pay their money, Me I don't have money to payback oh.

From what I can understand, someone used my details to get a loan from them and they are contacting me so that I can contact the said person for the repayment of the loan.

My issues are
1) why will you give out a loan to some one and use me as guarantor with out my consent
Since you didn’t involve me in any way from day 1, why involve me now.

2) the said number they contacted me with is my private line and it’s only used for data purposes only and non of my contacts has the number.
For the past 2 years that I bought the line, the only call I have gotten there is calls from Airtell
So how did the said person use the line and my other details for loan procurement

3) the name they mention , I haven’t heard so name and non of my friends and relatives bear such name.

my take

I think the person that they claim borrowed money from them and they want me to call doesn’t know me and didn’t even use my details for any thing , it’s just a devilish ploy from all these loan apps to make me to call the line and embarrass the man.

For me I think it’s totally unfair the way all these loan sharks go about embarrassing people up and down .


Please LCredit , stop this madness of sharing customers details to people , it’s totally wrong
I want to ask , is their no other way they can recover their money than this black mail they do all the time ?

Nigerians shouldn’t be bamboozled by Kunle poly’s sentiments of buying peoples sympathy, where there is none as this is more of political gimmicks to tarnish the image and personality of Alhaji Akinsanya Musiliu (M.C Oluomo). So many assassination attempts and attacks were launched in 2019 which nearly cost the life of M.C Oluomo by Kunle Poly and his gangs of thugs but after the emergence of MC OLUOMO, there was never in any way a reprisal attack whatsoever but instead they were all incorporated in the affairs and administration of NURTW lagos chapter which a man of conscience and dignity would have done.

there were series of attacks on the state chairman (MC OLUOMO) by Kunle Poly during Agbede led administration which nearly cost the life of M.C Oluomo but that was set aside during the inauguration of new executives in which Kunle poly was returned as a branch chairman in Lagos Island despite having completed 3 terms as a branch chairman which is even a violation to the convention and constitution of the national union as you are only entitled to hold chairmanship post for two terms.

The progress of the national union is the utmost priority of Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya and unnecessary digression from this will be seen as petty as said earlier. The unity remains certain and the bad eggs won’t be allowed to cause disunity irrespective of there status in the union.

My mum travelled down to Offa in kwara state to check on my brother who took ill, and on her way coming back, on getting to Omu Aran ,she was kidnapped with three other passengers, I don't know the tribe but their voice sounds like that of Fulani people, right now I'm not comfortable as they demanded to get the sum of 500,000 each before releasing them, I don't know the situation my mum will be right now as she is the only one we have since we lost of our father..
