Politics › Re: Is America Ripe For A Female Or A Black President? by toshmann(m): 2:26pm On Jan 04, 2008
Jakumo:
Even if Obama does not get elected to be America's next president, a major milestone in US history has been reached with his getting to within the closest proximity ever attained by a black man to becoming The Most Powerful Man on Earth.

The impossible is no longer necessarily so for the black man in America, thanks to the articulate son of a Kenyan immigrant called Obama, who dared to dream, and then reached for it.
this, for me, is the message of obama. he wont get there, but he has showed the black world that we have the right to dream big, and the capability to pursue our dreams. . . . as part of those famous words in the american constitution . . . . . that we hold these truths to be self evident, that all men were created egual . . . . . . .inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness

all we need. . . . just two things . . . . . . free/fair elections and proper census for national planning.

and every other thing shall be "given" unto us with time. at most 50yrs of proper lelections and census.

with proper elections, our elected leaders will be sensitive to criticism, they'll be careful about corruption, they'll appoint sound people to ministries and contracts, they'll be under pressure to deliver, and trust nigerians, they will deliver to be re-elected

with proper elections, the nat. assembly will be sensitive to their duties. they can be re-called if they mess up, they will watch the govt properly and they'll make sound laws. etc.

with proper census. . . . we can plan our development and give ourselves a timetable. we can plan cities and villages etc.

so all we need. . . . . 2 things. . . . . proper election. . . . . .and proper census

now you see why i say nigeria may not develop in the next I50yrs grin grin grin grin

To Own The oil will take Sincerity Honesty and commitment among people of this area. Because of the corruptibility of the adults it is better to use the young men.

What you do is to set up chains of cells that will be an enterprise.

The aim and objectives will be

1) Education in Business of Oil
2) Technical exoertise in Oil Exploration
3) Advanced Expertise In Oil Exploration( OIL SCIENTIST and Engineers)

Education is the Business aspect of Petroleum

When you set a company with men that can handle the finance aspect of oil you have a corporate entity that can stand in the Niger delta people will run to the Niger delta.

You set up a company with softer terms that other would give.

You know the workings of selling oil and you are more efficient than any one else.

You miust train youths in the area of economics that will be selfless because the goal is to dominate the oil business.

Technical Expertise

This will involve training young men FREE of Charge. Setting up a Petroleum Training Institute set up By the people of the delta no white man or government. The people must look for means. and the trained people are employed by the companies set up.

You will say that people will not give you the Job no they will because you have trained your people with lots of code of ethics.
in other words. . . . . they will never own the oil

In as much as I would like to be passionate about this subject, I think I have decided to reserve my energy this year for "Blessings of the Future", so I do not lose "them".

I frankly do not intend to discuss old unresolved issues of 2007 in this new year of 2008. Corruption, Ribadu, OBJ, Ibori, Yaradua, IBB and the likes are "unproductive" evil spirits of the past!!!!  Do not wish to discuss merry go round/circus topics this year because they are not only boring but kill whatever brain cells are left in my cerebrum. The same old shit.

Goodluck Nigeria as you approach your 48th birthday!!! See you on Independence day!
