Dindinrin; Oponu!

You can't even express yourself adequately. Your written English is atrociously poor. One wonders how your oral English would sound like. I bet you're a certificated yet uneducated fellow like many Nigerians are. Worst still, an HND holder! Perhaps?

Secondly, in a globalised, postmodern world qualification portability has become a BIG DEAL. For example, through the Bologna Process, qualifications across EU countries have become harmonised, engendering labour mobility. Hence, I am talking about the internationalisation of Nigerian qualifications (which I've written about on this site with reference to the HND/BA,BSc dichotomy). Conversely, and regrettably, you're yapping about localised accreditation. Will the University of Ghana, Legon, accept Nigerian HND holders to enrol on its prestigious MA/MSc degrees? Categorical no? You'll have to head for India where their MA/Msc equates with UK, US & Canadian BA/BSc. I repeat, if you see yourself and your offsprings beginning and ending it all in Nigeria, then keep deluding yourself that HND equates with BA/BSc. Otherwise, the Nigerian government needs to reinvent the polytechnic sector and the qualifications awarded by these institutions (e.g. BTech (Honours) rather than HNDs).

Is lecturing a lucrative job? Yes, if you are not living in a stone age but consider yourself a citizen of the world with labour mobility to take your qualifications with you anywhere (South Africa, Botswana, UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, etc) and adequately fit in rather than begging to have your HND evaluated and recognised.

Op.my experience is like yours.A lady nurse by profession was introduced to me by her classmate who happens to be my friend.i got talking with this lady, and we agreed on a date. I travelled to Enugu just to see this lady and possibly deceide having been chatting with her on fb.As i got to Enugu and logded in a hotel as she told me she would come and see me.meanwhile she said she was doing a pg program in one of the schools in Enugu. As she came to see me she said she was hungry i called for the restraurant.she said we would go to a better place which we did. Can u imagine that after eating the girl took me to a boutique directly opposite where we ate. She said she did not come to Enugu with church cloths and shoes.she went in and selected a cloth and a pair of shoes worth about 18 to 20k.and asked me to pay.i was shocked. I called her aside and inquired how much she had she said none. You knw what I paid the money and bid her bye. Currently she is still not married though a pretty lady. Im married with 2 kids.she may not marry as long as she still into obtain by trick
Bro, you really tried to have given out such amount of money. The funniest thing is that you might give them money out of your kind gesture but they will go about bragging to their friends that they scammed you

don't mind Nigeria govt this institutions have different objectives and reasons for establishing them.our govt just blow everything up. why not our govt establish Nigeria polytechnic commission (NPC) if they want to bridge the gap between HND and Bsc.. let NPC do the accreditation of polytechnics instead of NTBE who are known for accrediting Technical colleges IF NOT let them go back to the aim and objectives of establishing a polytechnic so as to remove the hatred among our graduates.Let each work according to its objectives
I don't think you're making sense at all sir.. In case you don't know, polytechnic has already lost its glory a long time ago that the formation of a regulatory body (NPC) cannot change.

The only thing that could be done to address the long time discrepancy/dichotomy is to merge polytechnics with universities, or place them at equilibrium which they just did
Education › Re: Buhari Will Further Destroy The Bsc By Introducing B.tech..(equating It To Bsc) by tosyne2much(m):
OP, I still don't know the morale of this ill-thought write-up you drafted. First and foremost, I want to correct your perception about lif. You don't need to be a university graduate before your senses can work right. However, the fact that Buhari does not hold a degree is not enough reason to rule a conclusion that he can't resolve educational conflicts in Nigeria

At least from the crap you posted, obviously, one can deduce that you're a Bsc holder, does that change the fact that your write-up reeks of ignorance and irrational thinking?

I'm not here to defend HND certificate nor give glory to Bsc holders, what I'm trying to say is that, always try to be very thoughtful before posting

Why would you not breed prostitutes, kidnappers, armed robbers or even boko haram when you are poverty stricken.

@tosyne2much, I don't need you to marry me 'cos I'm married. Now let me open your eyes on something. There are guys out there who can do anything for a woman they like/love at first sight.
See,women are intelligent and want men to love ❤ them n not to see them as whatever. I'm not saying that what d lady did was right o. But generally speaking some men need to at least show some respect to women.

Now to op, why did you choose to take her to swim, where she'll show some skin. what do you have in mind?.
Spending money on a lady is normal, no one argues about that. No matter how you try to embellish this act, it will never change the fact that no reasonable and responsible lady will hop on a man at the sight of money.

I don't know about you but as for me, I wouldn't like to see my sister or daughter unleashing such a demeaning habit

I once dated a guy who takes care of me like a sister. That was when I was searching for a job. Gives me money for my hair when he notices that its old n stuffs like that. Like a sister I said. I wonder if we still people like that.
Now, I've seen guys who talks to a lady today and would want to go to bed with her today today. Maybe she acted from her past experiences.
But op 3k n you are complaining, supposing she asked for a trip to UK nko smiley
Why do ladies always shy away from the truth and will always try to embellish immoral and shameful acts? Assuming I want to marry you, this emboldened will make me feel you're also a shameful being as the accused who has lost all pride of a woman. Let me tell you something, a guy does not have to sleep with you before you're being regarded worthless.

Would you raise your daughter this same way? So if your daughter does the same, you will always pat her on the shoulder by justifying such a barbaric act as a rightful act abi?.. It's your kind that keeps breeding various species of gold diggers on the streets of Lagos who have no integrity at all. Shame on you!!!

Just read ur comment over again and ask yourself if it's sensible at all

some female students are very independent and don't go about depending on guys for money... while some so called "working class" ladies are the real set with the MDS (man dependency syndrome) so I think it's an individual thing and how a lady values herself. Me personally, I'm a student and no guy under the surface of this earth can tell me "I got you this" or "she begged me for money" I don't accept birthday gifts I can't afford... I hate insults so I avoid it at all cost, especially when it comes to this kind of thing. And yes, I'm a student. So I think it's more of a personality thing.
If I can't afford it, then I have no business having it.
So incase a guy gets me a birthday gift amd starts feeling like he has some kind of entitlement towards me, ill simply throw your nonsense back at you.
This particular lady the OP is talking about seem to be a "packaged hungry girl"
That's my darling!!! I will soon come proposing cool

Don't forget you and I were in team rozay together Tosyne. I was her closest confidante and the insults she received is something that will marvel you.
Yes that's true... Well, I'm inclined to agree with you that during Rozay's time, they frustrated the hell out of her with false accusations/allegations just to discourage her from striving towards emerging the winner. Of course, the contest was characterized by hatred, enmity and backbiting.

To the guys" edition of 2014, I would say that it was peaceful and credible as there were active moderators (Ishilove, Pasqual09 and Farano) who wouldn't allow you litter the section with irrelevant threads apart from the thread designated for campaigns and voting.

Fast forward to 2016, the moderators seems to be dormant and inactive which has turned the Romance section to a place where horror, lunacy, joblessness and hatred are shamelessly unleashed

There was no monetary gain attached to the 2014 edition, but heck, it was Hell.
2014 edition wasn't hell at all... Most of us comported ourselves in a pleasing manner. We didn't bully nor attack one another. In fact, nobody dug into some else's privacy just to show superiority or discredit him unlike what people are fond of doing in recent time. However, it was an avenue to make more friends and I can say that some of us are still friends till date

2015 edition was the beginning of public display of lunacy and childishness

That's it! You cannot blame someone for being poor - all fingers are not equal. But it's utterly stupid to be poor and still brag of riches. This is where Muva erred.
Needless to say, a female Nairalander (name withheld) who was crushing on me invited me to Delta early this year and volunteered to pay back every penny that comes out of my pocket. I posted her that I would come, when in fact, I was only deceiving her . Out of joy and happiness, she told MUVA that I would be visiting her and that she couldn't just wait to set her eyes on me. Only for the ediooot to publicize it on Nairaland that a lady in Delta invited me for a fccck and that I couldn't afford to transport myself down there.. When the lady in question saw his comment, she was so devastated and embarrassed.. I never knew a 25year old guy (SUV owner) could be so childish and dumb

This is an act of childishness that even my kid brother in Primary1 cannot even display
