as in so so much history, but my dear there is no single development in this place where its supposed to be a tourist attraction. Just try driving from mile 2 trying to visit badagry only the road will discourage you.
I've heard about the terrible roads as well. Nigeria has a problem honestly.

Terrible governance = loss of potential opportunities left right and center.
TravelRe: Travelwaka Visit To The First Primary School In Nigeria by tot(f): 7:19pm On Oct 28, 2019
Badagry has so much history, from the slave trade relics to the first storey building and now the first primary school.

Caveat though, I think a lot more would need to be done to make this school a tourism destination.

Great job travelwaka, your posts are always so informative.

Kolorun ma shanu wa noni. Even us that are abroad. Is it not hustle we came to hustle here? Is it not because our government is not doing their work? Providing infrastructure, light, safety and security etc. No one just likes to leave their family to go hustle in another man's land. But we must sha survive. My advice to anyone attempting to travel is to go there legally and stay there legally if possible. These ones also went to hustle. You can see they are all people from poor families and possibly hoping to start small and help their siblings and parents back home. They just were unlucky to meet a terrible fate. RIP.
So true.

The amount of respect shown to the dead here is commendable. Even the UK isn't obligated to show them any respect.

If this was Africa this whole case would have been a mess
Honestly. Even when accidents occur, the first thing done is to cover up the bodies. I don't understand the lust Nigerians have for seeing gory pictures. It just further desensitizes people besides being a total lack of respect for the dead.

See them both jumping to defend a politician. Like Nigerian politicians give a hoot. Such stupidity. Local champions. Travel and see the quality and standard of life in other places, no they won't, they are here spelling rubbish in defence of their oppressors.

Living in a country where life expectancy is 53 and they are still talking rubbish.

Very shameful. This desperation for money by any means is turning into something else. Death sentence should be enforced globally for these cases, maybe then others will borrow sense.

Exactly my point. There are a number of unanswered questions about the whole issue that need to be looked into if we are truly serious about fighting corruption.

Instead some idiot is applying sentiment and pasting pictures of ikpeazu to deflect from the topic, what does that have to do with what's being discussed? Nigerians deserve all the bad roads, shitty health care and other woes plaguing them. So annoying.

Is it not dumb, idiotic and senseless to cry and wail about your bad roads, healthcare and all the problems you are going through in your village while at the same time attacking and demanding accountability from Tinubu?

I guess you still ignorantly think Tinubu is a public official and he's your governor and he's responsible for your roads, healthcare and whatever 1 gallon kerosene sharing issues you have in your village. grin grin

Tinubu is not even responsible for the roads in Lagos talk less the ones in your village.. grin grin
Illiterate.
