I am introvert and married an extrovert person. It is not easy at times but have been doing my best to balanced the two.

As an introvert, I feels more better expressing myself more in writing.

Yes, that's one thing I can't let go. While reading or writing, I get lost in it. Sometimes I feel incomplete when I don't do it.

Its hard to have a friend or spouse has extrovert because to me it's as if I am trying to change them or they are trying to change me.

Had a nasty breakup because of this, to him I wasn't doing my best. He wanted to change and control me. His kind of friends werent the type I would keep but I still try to make it work. I tried to go out even if all I want to do is have a date with my bed, with a good novel and phil collins playing in the background.

I love being an introvert, saves me from unnecessary stress.

Opinion, ya. But what I said is a general truth.

I was opportuned to engaged one of the most decent ladies I've known. She literally believed that money was only secondary, that there are other things more important than money. To cut the story short, I decided to increased her money demand resilience level and reduce her greed to a minimum, while increasing the potential boyfriend money withholding level in a scene I played out for her.. You know what she couldn't take it at that point.

The lack of money magnifies very minor issues in a relationship, this is what many mistake as other issues other than money. But the bed rock of it all is money.

The way I was brought up was to be independent and contented.
My parents drilled it in me to never ask a guy for something because when I ask I should always expect them to ask for something in return. Their words then was you scratch my back I scratch yours too.

My dad especially taught me to give more than I collect and whatever I collect I should always account for it when needed.

Let's say I grew by that rule. I can boldly tell you I have never asked a guy to buy me something or give me money not to talk of recharge card. I don't even know how to asked sef and I wonder when I see ladies like me do that shamelessly. I have lost relationships due to that cuz they believe it's pride but it's tattooed in my blood. That's what I meant by not all ladies.

Lemme use myself as an example.
I thought I had everything planned out.

I left secondary school at the age of 16,thats when I started making plans.

I plan to study a 4 years course by then I would be 20.
Go for 1 year compulsory NYSC, by then I would be 21.
Work for 2 to 3 years, I wanted to have my own money and not depend on anybody, then get married at the age of 25.

But that wasn't the case here. I was living in a fantasy.

My reality...
At age 16, I waited 3 years before getting admitted to school to study a 5 years course, add 2 years strike and 1 years compulsory NYSC plus 1 year trying to hustle or get a job. In between, my relationship ended due to genotype ish.

Now I'm close to 30 still single but got a job.
Before you say why didn't I try for another relationship, I did but most guyz I come across only wanted to be with a 'naive girl' who dey can brag about.. If you don't gerrit, forget about it. It trigger my resolve in self development and finding my ground the more.

Would you say I wasted my time with pride, being picky or what?

Others want their age group while some go with the flow.
