Nnaa mehn, this is so funny. This is what the Tinubu/Buhari's APC should have done first instead of going about making noise and traveling to Borno state to spray money. This is simply a case of misplaced priorities. I think they've never heard the saying that goes thus: "First things first". It serves them right. LOL. APC mmeeeeeh! Ntoooooh! |
Policemen and Nigerian troops of JTF eventually arrived the scene about ten minutes after the gunmen had left to evacuate the people shot from the scene of the latestMedicine after death. What happened to patrols? SMH Remember, the killers of the polio vaccinators in Kano used tricycles during their attacks. I think it's high time the use of motorcycles and tricycles are banned in Kano and other volatile states for the time being, untill peace is restored. |
Symphony007: What's so wrong about this? Everyone does it. The deputy governour can resign rather than face impeachment and the governour gives him immunity and he goes free. That's what nixon/ford did!The fact that everyone does it doesn't mean that we too should be doing it, or that we should be tolerating every rubbish being thrown at our face. We have to change our orientation and attitude towards corruption. That some sets of people did it and went free doesn't mean that everybody would be waiting for their own turn to chop & clean mouth. The earlier we start asking for accountability from our leaders the better for us. |
Whether he resigns to save his face or not, it's already there in the records that he was involved in financial misconduct. So he resigned so that he can still get his benefits and honour as a former deputy governor? For where, there is nothing honourable in a dishonourable conduct. I pray his resignation letter is rejected so that he would be impeached. This would serve as a deterrent to other people in office. We are here complaining about our older corrupt leaders, and our youths are also following suit. Rubbish |
The IG should better know how to clear this mess before it costs him his job. Let him find out where those his investigating officers went wrong, and sanction them accordingly. Na this kind thing dey make me lose confidence for person body, honestly. No one wants to believe the Police anymore. Sorry o! |
It's public knowledge that Iran is an instigator of spying and terrorist activities. Whether they deny it or admit it, the SSS has done a very good job by fishing out their agents. I would rather believe the SSS than believe that Iran has nothing to do with this revelation. |
JARUS, the Sanusi man! ![]() |
Sometimes I just wonder how old some Nairalanders are, judging by their comments. No brains, no reasoning. So sad |
ubong560: She is an undoubted ingrate. Or how else would i describe an illiterate whose by d virtue of an unknown invisible reasons found herself in aso rock with her retardeen husband. Not her fault at all. My grandma in d village speaks better english than this protruded tommy creature and yet she wil stil have mouth to talk in a public matter. Lets wait till abt 20months from now. We shall know if she and her husband wont join thier mates in d village where they take dry gin, overnight palmy and blend it wit some sniffing stuff like 'snuff' etc. U better tell ur husband to pack his load well cos u and him wont spend the of 29th of May, 2015 in aso rock. It's a promise!I think you have forgotten that her husband won the 2011 presidential election. That makes her the first lady. And lest I forget, judging from your post, I can only but imagine how hateful, bitter and black your heart is. |
Instead of them to go and arrest the politicians and their family members embezzling our money, they are frustrating the life of a poor Professor who has toiled and laboured to make some money. |
adexking2014: She is an illetrate. Does she even know the real meaning of opposition? Tell her to close her eyes and spell "Opposition"Now I can see the level of your own literacy. |
MEILYN: since last year and dis is making d frontpage nw....Anyway great ability shaThou shalt not use the Name of The Lord in Vain. (one of the 10 commandments) |
The Egberipapa one of Bayelsa! BTW, where are the stage and the audience? Or was it a private get-together of friends? |
chief batiatus: The president should be hailed for his retraction and not scorned further, I keep saying NL is full of teenagers, so if u contested something and won, then u think its time to flaunt your victory? Let me tell you a real retardeen would not back down and there is nothing anybody will do about it, go and ask what protest went out when Ife was named OAU and what happenend?. GEJ has a listening ear and he has demonstrated it. This calls for more respect for GEJ. I hail u sirTell them. From the way these people are sounding here, mocking him for retaining the UNILAG name, were they really expecting him to insist on the change of name to MAULAG? Some Nairalandes are so confused. Sometimes I wonder how old they are. |
funky medina: bloody fisherman ..finally come to his sensesPlease tell us what you do for a living. |
emmaBS: Yet another reason for us to believe Jonathan is a trainee president.Tufiakwa! Na waa for una o. He proposed the change of UNILAG to MAULAG, Wahala! He notices that it's not okay by the Universty body and the citizenry and decides to retain the original name, just to please his people, another Wahala again! |
This is a well-articulated write-up and I buy your idea. It is not every information about onseself that the person may wish to expose, especially health issues. People must learn how to respect other people's privacy. The hunger for talk-of-the-town gossips have seemed to blind some people. They leave the huge plank in their eyes and instead, mind the little speck in other people's eyes. |
bukatyne: Omo T is an exception. How many women marry that young and still live the kind of life she's living? It's good to marry early, not when you'll be desperate. And What is it about Pastor Kumuyi's wife? |
OMOTOLA JALADE-EKEHINDE married as a teenager. Has any of these things happened to her? Isn't she enjoying her life and her marriage? |
samm_miey: my papa is late 70 and juz got his little wife pregnant a couple of months ago,as a matter of fact d woman is currently at d verge of delivery now!!Hence, makes my conviction validated dt men poke punny til eternity no shaking. Revolva: story na who tell you say a man cant get a woman pregnant even if he dey 60 years its possible ..World Health Organization (WHO) and Research have revealed that though men can impregnate a woman at any age, children born of men during their later life have high chances of having mental problems, developmental problems, some may even have Down's syndrome, and so on and so forth. Likewise children born by women in their late life, towards menopause. Therefore, to have healthy children with no/ lesser chances of having congenital, mental, developmental, physical, psychological, etc problems; it's better to have your children when you are still in your 20s (according to WHO research). |
Yes it has. Even when light is taken on few occasions, it doesn't take long before it comes back, say like 10 minutes. |
Thanks a whole lot. |
Another anti-government specie on the loose. Is it Fashola that caused the traffic jam or asked everybody living in Lagos to bring their cars on the road? Were you not there when he provided the BRT buses and pleaded with Lagosians to park their cars once in a while and use the BRTvbuses so as to reduce the number of cars plying Lagos roads? |
1. MULTI-TASKING Women - Multiple process Womens brains designed to concentrate multiple task at a time. Women can Watch a TV and Talk over phone and cook. Men - Single Process Mens brains designed to concentrate only one work at a time. Men can not watch TV and talk over the phone at the same time. they stop the TV while Talking. They can either watch TV or talk over the phone or cook. 2. LANGUAGE Women can easily learn many languages. But can not find solutions to problems. Men can not easily learn languages, they can easily solve problems. That's why in average a 3 years old girl has three times higher vocabulary than a 3 yeard old boy. 3. ANALYTICAL SKILLS Mens brains has a lot of space for handling the analytical process. They can analyze and find the solution for a process and design a map of a building easily. But If a complex map is viewed by women, they can not understand it. Women can not understand the details of a map easily, For them it is just a dump of lines on a paper. 4. CAR DRIVING. While driving a car, mans analytical spaces are used in his brain. He can drive a car fastly. If he sees an object at long distance, immediately his brain classifies the object (bus or van or car) direction and speed of the object and he drives accordingly. Where woman take a long time to recognize the object direction/ speed. Mans single process mind stops the audio in the car (if any), then concentrates only on driving. 5. LYING When men lie to women face to face, they get caught easily. Womans super natural brain observes facial expression 70%, body language 20% and words coming from the mouth 10%. Mens brain does not have this. Women easily lie to men face to face. So guys, do not lie face to face. 6. PROBLEMS SOLVING If a man have a lot of problems, his brain clearly classifies the problems and puts them in individual rooms in the brain and then finds the solution one by one. You can see many guys looking at the sky for a long time. If a woman has a lot of problems, her brain can not classify the problems. she wants some one to hear that. After telling everything to a person she goes happily to bed. She does not worry about the problems being solved or not. 7. WHAT THEY WANT Men want status, success, solutions, big process, etc... But Women want relationship, friends, family, etc... 8. UNHAPPINESS If women are unhappy with their relations, they can not concentrate on their work. If men are unhappy with their work, they can not concentrate on the relations. 9. SPEECH Women use indirect language in speech. But Men use direct language. 10. HANDLING EMOTION Women talk a lot without thinking. Men act a lot without thinking. http://www.mckez.com/2013/01/man-vs-woman-human-brain-analysis-who.htm |
This is a big lesson to all. We must learn to manage anger and have a grip on our emotions. Secondly to my fellow ladies, men are very egoistic, therefore we must learn to stop nagging or exchanging words with our husbands/boyfriends/ fathers/brothers. Once their ego is hurt, they may do anything just to tell ou that they are the ones in charge. A word is enough for the wise |
Is Nuhu Ribadu just realizing that ELRUFAI's book is just a book of lies. That one na old news nah. The only truth in that book is the name of the author. That's all. |
Will he guarantee Nigerians freedom of religion? Will he reduce/end the religious intolerance in the land? Will he give us constant power supply? Will he still have the zero tolerance to corruption approach, or will he see the assumption of office as his own turn to chop the national cake? My questions for him |
RIP |
Mchewwwww. Evidence of plastic surgery |
@OP, I commend you for your genuine observation and constructive criticism. I also feel concerned about the boy. However, those of you making fun of the boy and the President's family should think twice. The OP just raised a sincere observation and proferred some solutions, he definitely didn't ask us to start mocking the President's family. We should learn to behave like adults. |
You know what, for we the average Nigerians, the issue is not about which party is in power or which party is not in power. What we want is good governance and accountability in leadership. Can the merged opposition parties guarantee these to us if they take over power? Or will they see the taking over of power as their own opportunity to embark on their own looting and corruption? This is my concern. |
If you people know the level of rigorous tests, examinations, interviews and medical screenings people go through to get employed in the SSS, you guys would not believe this story at all at all. If you don't pass their tests, interviews and medical/fitness screenings, omo nothing for you o! no matter who you know or who sent your name. Even if David Mark actually sent some names to the SSS, the question is, how many of them scaled through the rigorous tests, examinations, interviews and medical screenings? 30-40 of them at a go? I don't believe so. |
