I need to stop reading willy*2's posts. This person wants to kill me with laughter. |
this is even funnier. ![]() keep it coming! |
now this is funny. |
@davidylan and u think PR men are more romantic? Keep deceiving yourself.are you sure they're not? They've produced some of the greatest love songs ever. tell me which woman wouldnt be moved by "I need You" ( marc Anthony). And similar songs. I dont have time to check out others right now. Not saying they're angels but your comment seems a bit "off",imo. |
hmm, so nobody here ordered this laptop even though there was a buy one donate one sale in december 2007? na wa o. ![]() |
may God deliver Africa from suffering. So its a choice of either an European language or an Arabic one, in order to function on a global level. Soon Chinese ( Asian) will join the fray. oh well, I'm just thinking out loud. I've got no problem with the languages I speak. What's done is done. We ought to have made hay while the sun was shining, I guess. |
here's Forever by paul Play https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHaB2YGpDWg nah, its also great, but I'm still with Angel of my Life. |
@adeboo and if u are a praying woman, get on your knees and pray.I couldnt have said it any better, myself. apt description here: When he's good, he's very very good, and when he's bad, he's horrid. Doesnt apply only to Naija guys, but for some reason when they're being horrid they get lots of publicity. Intercultural marriages require extra work, imo. |
@ poster: go ahead! ![]() |
In Your Eyes by peter gabriel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sWvzKARJG8 performed with Youssou N'Dour ( from Senegal), and combines western and west African rhythm and dances. quite whimsical. |
debomb:maybe people didnt see your post- you put the news in the New Member section instead of the Politics thread. I'm thinking probably the new member site doesnt get that much traffic- I only checked out that area today because I saw your comment. ndo. sorry. |
terrible news. may she RIP. |
gbangban:also reading this right now. Great book. Starts rather slow, imo, but picks up later. i havent seen the movie either, but wanted to read the book first to get a better feel for the film. |
No state is as welcoming as Lagos. Lagos is home to a lot of manufacturing and continues to be a preferred location for new businesses because it welcomes all. It even welcomed returned slaves in the past without discrimination and they are fully integrated into the society ! It is even poised for greater things, the LEKKI Free Zone is coming up, very soon it will also be an Oil Producing State from Offshore Oil fields. And all who chose to be associated with Lagos are welcome to join hands in making it a true center of EXCELLENCE. Other states will soon start getting less hostile from the good example of peace loving Lagosians. Sooner or later all Nigerian states will stop discriminating between indigenes and non-idengenes and rather be interested in establishing welcoming cities where the rule of law with fairness to everyone reigns. To all saying negative things, Rome was not built in a day. The Government is looking into making the city a MEGA CITY and in future will not have room for the filty people who litter and pollute the whole state. Incinerators and Land fills will be used to manage the waste. If speaking Yoruba in the House will make Lagos get to this next level and become a West African pride so be it! (This will definitely make some people jealous and this can be used positively by getting other states to start competing in attracting businesses and make better use of the big banks / abundant human and material resources)
everything but your last paragraph makes sense. I don't know why you had to include that - it doesnt rhyme with the rest of your post. ![]() |
@naijaking1 Why is it so difficult for some people to take this story as written, and why is it even more difficult to believe that this incident was not reported by any major US news outlet.I agree. |
wonderful feeling. Like sailing on air. it could wear off eventually though. But good while it lasts. |
@adeniyi88: talk to the girl directly and let her know how you feel about what she said. Ask why she said it. |
I normally try to stay within a reasonable range, but recently decided to treat myself to a photoshoot, of all things. I still cant believe the bill. The girl was trying to talk me into some kind of $2000 package and I had to stay there and haggle and beat down that price like a market woman, till I finally found something in my price range (still rather high, I thought). The photos were good though, and I really enjoyed myself, but I dont normally blow that kind of money on professional pictures. Models dont have it easy at all, I think- professional pictures are quite expensive I'm thinking of treating myself again maybe on a special occasion. I might start saving up for it. It was fun. |
Backslider:there are different kinds of dance. Dancing can be for fun, pleasure or exercise as well. |
dafman:yes i am. how can monkeys mock in this manner? it just seems somehow. unless the monkeys have been trained to do that, i think. anyway, i dont know . |
I dont understand how monkeys are capable of doing the things these ones are accused of doing. in any case, they should mix some palm wine with honey or something the monkeys will definitely eat/drink, and leave it out for them. Get the monkeys drunk and then transport them elsewhere. i heard of this untested(?) solution to a monkey problem years ago. someone wrote it as fiction. |
who is this Me-Again ![]() |

very interesting. |
I'm so tired of the Nigerian political merry go round. Every step forward counterbalanced by ten steps backward. |
