more pictures please, of females from different parts of Africa and the world in general. So we can all decide where the most beautiful ladies are from. ![]() nice picture, Mc Usman. ![]() |
AJ, e be like say your mom fine pass you o. ![]() Sorry but that's my observation. No be say you no fine but you know how it is. ![]() |
am so bored with this obama frenzy. Not to talk of the way the media is puffing him up. This is almost worse than the Elian Gonzalez saga back in the day. Hero worshipping irritates me most times, for real. Especially when the worship is based on flimsy excuses like skin color. Person wey call all of una cannibal for inside im book, na im Naija people dey carry for head! The only good thing I'm observing in the obama worship is that a lot of Nigerians are suddenly developing a self centered interest in African American issues, whereas before na fight to the finish, so to speak. Everybody dey sweet talk now say Africa and black America na the same. Opportunity dey. Dem no admit am before o. Na soso badmouth everytime. Now everybody is believing they can one day be president of the United States. As if that's the only worthwhile thing anybody can achieve in life. How many people's pikin go assume that office, which can only contain one person, by the way. I guess some people have never heard of the sword of Damocles. ![]() @ misterman: the advances that have been made by black people so far, was it through obama? Dont know what you're talking about. Assuming he wins, he aint winning for me- its for himself and him mama and papa family. Abi if he doesnt win, I no go chop? |
@ father ab: The blood that flows in a person is that of the father not the mother. That is why blood test confirms the fatherhood of a child. father ab:ehen!!!!!!! is there anything one wont hear on this site!!!! so blood tests can't confirm maternal lineage? The mama blood no dey inside im pikin bodi? Anyway, with cloning all of una go get ya wish sooner or later. Please make una support cloning research o. So Obama is an African man running for the office of president of the United States? ![]() [s]no wonder that spraying thread is so lively. People fight tooth and nail to maintain million year old way of life[/s] Let me see if I can leave this thread alone o. Am so shocked! |
@ topic: isnt that nice. I'm sure Benin republic could also use some of the western side of Nigeria. The country is so small and Nigeria is so big, thanks to Lord Lugard. make them kuku give away as much as possible. Lottery giveaway. |
me I no know which kind wowo baby some people dey see o. I've never seen a wowo baby in my life, and neither do I ever hope to see one. Talking of normal healthy babies here. A baby's cuteness isnt only in the face. ![]() people and mouth sha. Any parent however is free to call their child gorilla or shrek. If the child grow up come land inside jail for acting like gorilla, make them no complain o, |
blatant:not so all the time. have you ever been in a situation where someone is glaring at you because they say they can't understand your heavily African accent. Five minute transaction extending to thirty minutes or more because you have to keep repeating yourself over and over to a very hostile person/cashier who insists on not understanding anything you say. Not to mention spelling your name like five times in three minutes. A as in Apple, D as in david, I as in Ink, etc etc Na that kind thing dey make people develop complex and begin dey modify their accent small small or in a big way. No blame them. The end justifies the means. No vex for people abeg. ![]() man must wack. |
where is ysvkc [OP] sef? una don scare am away. yvskc- hmmm, you never even reach naija yet, you don withdraw for naija peeps. Expect more of the same back home o. ![]() |
it takes time, but cleft lip can be corrected with surgery. besides, the OP didnt explain if he means babies with health issues or a child with crazy parents. Like the kid in the article whose mother alledgedly said resembles the father by looking like a gorilla. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-113842.0.html |
all babies are cute not only because of their appearance but many other things. unless the OP is referring to babies with health problems. |
is it that hard to follow simple instructions. haba. People who are used to spraying should put a big tray on the side and let the dancing sprayers drop the cash in it. Or present the money in envelopes. Or find some other solution. I dont see the reason why this topic generated so much controversy o. Musicians who depend on spraying for their livelihood can consider increasing their performance fees to cover the difference, if they cant think of an alternative way of spraying. After all, when people want to throw parties, money is usually no object. Or folks who cant imagine a world without spraying should continue opposing the measure. Either way, **shrugs** ![]() |
@ chiogo:peace. ![]() didnt mean to come out sounding so strong. its not necessarily you mentioning these things here- its just that I hear these kind of things all the time, and its annoying when people in real life get irritated for no reason over someone not acting "Nigerian" enough for them. My relation who hasnt been in Nigeria for ages, recently visited the place. Some folks were abusing her (over the usual "cultural" stuff) without knowing she understood what they were saying. She kept quiet though and didnt let on she knew they were insulting her. cheerios! |
chiogo:I'm not misconstruing your post. its just that I've heard these exact things you're saying too many times to count. People get too offended over Nigerians who arent exactly like them in every way. For example, you called it BS when Nigerians born in the US say they are Americans. You don't know how many times I've heard similar rhetoric. My response has always been: its nobody's problem but the individual's. I don't see why people work themselves up into a fury over these things, is all. Everything I've stated is my personal opinion. I still feel there are enough Nigerian associations, religious gatherings, social events and the like, overseas, for people not to be worried about African/Nigerian culture being lost. ![]() check my first post on this thread: if keeping culture alive means people criticizing me because I don't measure up to their standard of cultural perfection, then make them siddon there. I no get time.and like rain, the critiques over "Nigerianness" poured down immediately. Like flipping a switch. It happens all the time. |
chiogo:check your tone here: Most Nigerians i've met who were born here don't eat no naija dish save for Rice, which is not much of a Naija dish Cuz lots of people eat those. This does not apply to Nigerians alone but people from other countries. They go 'I was born here sowhy is it total BS if some Nigerians say they are American? Its up to individuals how they want to identify themselves. If a Nigerian who has only been to Nigeria maybe two or three times at most, chooses to call themselves American or black British or whatever the case may be, I dont see why some people have to work themselves into a fury over it. And this scenario happens over and over all the time. Some people are more at home in the environment they were raised in, which might not necessarily be 100% Nigerian. Some kids might have had extremely nasty experiences when they went home- a few had parents murdered or were waylaid and injured by armed robbers. That was their experience with Nigeria. or some have simply never been to Nigeria all their lives. Whatever it is, it shouldnt be other people's problem unless they are financially responsible for such individuals in some way. Just like some cultural mohawks can start choking if a Nigerian kid abroad does not kneel down for them. All these issues are too petty abeg.imo, if it doesnt add to my paycheck, then why should I carry it on my head. |
@poster: It does sound like this guy is trying to play a fast one. Give him some space and see what happens. ![]() If it were me o, I'd hang out with other guys just so I don't keep thinking about this one unneccesarily. But you do what you think is best. In any case, since he feels you're bothering him, give him his freedom. ![]() |
not to mention some people limit the Nigerian food they eat because of the caloric content and trans fat. Health reasons. Then some will just start attacking them anyhow. I used to know a guy with high blood pressure who had to eliminate salt from his diet. If it concerned me, shouldnt I have started attacking him for watching what went into his mouth. or the lady I knew who had to stop eating Nigerian food completely because her doctor warned her of the consequences of unrestricted eating. Or people who are too busy from school or work to shop for and cook Nigerian food.how is it people's business how anyone is living their life. As it is, are the Nigerian associations and churches abroad not filled to overflowing at every meeting. Why is it the few ones who are living their lives the way that is best for their situation, the ones who some folks are getting sleepless nights over. Live and let live abeg. There are still enough Nigerians who are 100% pro-culture for people to be chasing shadows. Everyone knows their personal situation. Unless some people get something on Nigerian culture wey they wan sell sha. @ naija-diva: I see your points though. Places like London,Texas, Atlanta and Maryland have a huge Nigerian population. So there's a lot more networking there. |
chiogo:so in what way does the food eaten or not eaten by a Nigerian you don't know, affect you personally? and who told you the food people abroad know as Chinese, is the exact same food actually eaten in China? get your facts straight. You've never met Chinese, Italians, Irish, Polish or any other nationality who don't speak their parents' languages? For some even their parents don't speak their own languages. Does Obama speak his father's language? Did JFK speak Gaelic? have you heard Guilani speaking italian? What is the percentage of Americans who actually speak their grandparents or greatgrandparents original languages? Not counting Hispanics. Continue taking panadol for other people's headache. ![]() am not saying people shouldnt practice their culture. But no need to abuse anyone for whatever level of culture they're comfortable with. sheesh. Just do your own for your own self and whoever agrees with you, and keep moving. Everybody doesnt have to be the same. |
Which Monarchy is greater than the American dynasty of Bush and Clinton for the past 20 years and Probably morewhy do people keep talking about a Clinton/Bush dynasty? The Bushes ruled for 12 years. Clinton was president for only two terms- same as most other presidents. There's no guarantee so far on who will win this current election. The only dynasty I see here is the Bush one, which is 12 years between father and son. So what's the beef and rhetoric about a Clinton dynasty? Why put Bush and Clinton in the same boat as if they're the same? This is nothing but an outright falsehood from whoever started these nasty allegations. ![]() |
is it just me, or is it always the same set of guys following hotfunmi around? make una talk true o. All this I am fighting I am fighting- na so so emotion o. oyb: hmmm. Men emotion no dey stable like that o- na pendulum wey fit swing from one extreme to another anytime. Trust me. ![]() [s]I just dey feel for that fine boy wey dey ya profile[/s] |
Nonsense! All this one you are doing here, if this bobo where to choose a wife from all of us on this thread--males included, he will definitely choose me. He will come back for me. Nothin deeey happen! He will never forget me for sureROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! chei!!!!!!!!!!I'm supposed to be busy ooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm mot marrying her 4 her looks. we've actually come a long way n i jst love am. even if she gets "uglier" when she as she matures which i dnt so, e no matter. d beauty of a woman is much more thatn the physical. its actually in the heart n character. if i tell u what the supposed pretty babes don me, u go hala., kai! e get as them do me, do me, do me. she's from cameroun douala.n i'm sticking wit her. she'd everytin 2 me, una no go fit understand. tank u.
am not saying she will get "uglier" when she matures. Many women become even more beautiful as they get older. All I'm saying is that a lot of women anywhere also look effortlessly good in their teenage pix. That's all. I no be polygamy advocate. I just dey disgusted with the way some people defend the thing as if say them go die if dem no support polygamy. very annoying. ![]() |
blacklion:so, what do you suggest Vivian do to cure her husband of his wandering eyes? How can she make him unattractive to all these other women flocking to him like moths to a candle? ![]() |

4Him ooooo- what about Nigerian guys?? Arent some of them as much into visa-for-love as some of the women? ![]() why are you so hard on the women na? ![]() |
like Simibrazil pointed out when she was here, make all of them practice menage a trois, or menage a million, for inside bedroom. ie no need for sex by appointment. Just have the frigging sex at the same time, with all the wives "working" on the husband. ![]() |
4Him:4Him, who knows if its true love. In any case, people should go with whoever works for them, dont you think? Life and love are a risk anyway. ![]() but I agree rjimid and the g/friend should verify all verifiables before investing too much cash or kind into the relationship. |
@4 Play- yes, some Nigerian women are interested in foreigners. No biggie. even back home in Nigeria, some women still marry whites and other races. ![]() |
Sorry ooooo, but the thin tire me no be small. How we go just be experts in bringing down one another. If no be tribe today , e go be gender tomorrow. I hope it is all in the spirit of fun as Nwando pointed out ( ). Yeah, I nearly puked when one guy opened a thread and stating that the Instruments of naija women hjave offensive odor while those of oyibo women smell like roses. Abi no be these oyibo women wey full for hia Roses ko, carnation nithe kind of thread that chased me out of the sexuality section. many other stupid threads as well, over there. People wey dey smell each other yansh, carry STD from somebody wife, measuring the size, quality and quantity of all dem various lovers' lower regions,- the list is endless. That place could turn someone into a howler monkey, if care is not taken. ![]() |
