donniemc: Actually Most executives of these companies are drop-outs, Mid/low level worker are the phd/degree holders...the truth is it takes a dropout to invent the futurethe few dropouts who make it big are most times from rich and/or well connected families. dont be fooled by the media hype. prior to the computer/information technology era, there was nothing honorable about being a drop out. |
advocate666: yes. what exactly is religious about pregnant virgins?do you have to be religious before you can be a virgin? |
wbb to discuss the issue of death being on everybody's mind these days. most cant put together two sentences without adding some sort of calamity to it. |
i'm surprised people are able to joke about this picture. do either of the people involved look like they're enjoying the situation? and as someone explained- the photo was taken during the aburi conference. i assume we all know what that was? the thread title is extremely misleading and erroneous. |
Neither of them looks happy. Cant even begin to describe the ghanaian's expression. |
Phds are generally good for academia. In any case, as per MBAs, i learnt even as an undergraduate, that MBAs still need a lot of connections before you can get a commensurate job with that title. And this was even in nigeria, talkless overseas. The person who told me this was a happening babe from lagos who was herself planning on getting one. She already had an impressive job with some big corporation. |
kayjegs: In Nigeria, PhD holders could be jobless.relatively rare. a phd holder might not be rich, but they'll have a job. You are wrong by saying that as a PhD holder, the person is made for life. For your information, there are many PhD holders in Nigeria looking for job. I know what I am saying.must be a new thing, because its not even easy to get a phd in nigeria. dont know if things have changed however. But in America, I dont think a PhD holder will be looking for this kind of job or driving cabs because there is no job.happens all the time- why are you arguing? ![]() |
deshclones: STFU you dummy...spewing thrash from all sides of the mouth...do you know what a Phd is? Do you know what it entails to get one?the number of research one has to undergo?o boy quit showcasing your stupidity here..Phd is not some stuff you buy over d counter..any Phd holder (minus honorary ones) in any discipline even if its yoruba is made for life nd can never be jobless..worse case he/she will get a lecturing job in some mushroom school, write some books nd make cool moni..not apply for dangote truck driver job.. ballabriggs: 2000? How did you arrive at this ridiculous conclusion?its common knowledge there are many phds who drive cabs abroad. not typical in nigeria, but cant say the same for overseas. and why getting so bothered over this fact? while the numbers are debatable, its nothing new. |
if only these threads didnt have more to them than meets the eye. . . . . . . . . |
i think it originated from france- not sure though. |
every state has beautiful ladies, but delta and rivers have a lot of women who look mixed [second, third generation] or sort of hispanic. they also have a very high variation in looks. just my opinion, still subject to review. And, however, being beautiful isnt always necessarily a good thing. Forget about the entertainment sector and hollywood movies. kwara also has quite a few mixed looking people. i dont usually respond to these types of threads anyway. Just bored. @ poster do you mean which state has the most number of beautiful ladies or which state has ladies who are the most beautiful. |
LFJ: Hun! I agree with you, may be Phd from Nigeria.phds from nigeria who are in nigeria, generally get jobs, to the best of my knowledge. at least, then, dont know about now. most phds even from elsewhere, who are in nigeria, also tend to get jobs within their fields, even if they're not millionaires. |
hmm ![]() |
if kaduna means crocodile and aguiyi also means crocodile, then what? ![]() |

isnt that rita dominic in the picture? ![]() |
esere826: What if these PHD and MBA holders applying for this Dangote truck job are actually using it as part of a career strategy?that's what i suspect. people are shouting and turning up their noses because its nigeria. overseas, you see phds and masters holders driving cabs, working minimum wage, etc without any eyebrows being raised. |
what exactly is religious about the original post? ![]() |
Jettage: Any one can become a PHD holder in Nigeriaits actually more difficult to get a phd in nigeria. overseas, not so much. |
@ topic overseas nko? |
Despite the fact that the drivers get trip allowances on each trip along with their salaries, the arrangement is that they will own the trucks at no interests or repayments after they must have reached 300, 000 kilometres, which is about 140 trips from Lagos to Kano and a hard working driver can complete in two years, while lazy ones can take maximum of four years", he explained.sounds like a good deal. after [if] they own the trucks, they can use them to start their own businesses. it wouldnt be that easy raising the funds to buy such, out of pocket. hope there's no catch anywhere. |
probably used to identify him, if he kept it on his person all the time. could be either a plus or a minus, in his own case, depending on who was looking for him. |
keep fooling yourself. |
is having a big butt now considered an achievement by you? ![]() enlighten me plz. as far as i know, black males are the ones who blow things out of proportion when referring to certain parts of the female anatomy. so, are your views based on black males or what exactly. you say you're fulani- fulanis are generally known for their slim physiques, unless you have an opposing view to that as well. I'm not engaging you in any extended back and forth here, so i will quit the thread shortly. not sure why you took it on yourself to quote me- i beleive you have your followers here and I'm not one of them. |
i wonder why nigerians keep acting like they are radically different dna-wise from the north given the extremely high rate of intermixing between both north and wherever you care to name in the south? ![]() |
tobechi74: MORAL LESSON horny4u: Nah donot get it mixed up.I'm sure some nlers will go and ask their mums this question. makes me understand (sort of), why some of the old folks used to unleash some serious curses on waywardness back in the old days. you go fear curse. but really, when people insist on engaging in anti-social activity, very few options remain besides either praying for the person or raining curses on them if you're not a serious christian. |
too many references to postal workers these days. hope we are safe. |
madam, i dont recall saying white women are not known for big butts. please reread my post again, carefully and comment on the topic itself. The thread is about buttock enhancement. My own post was in response to someone who suggested not having a big butt will prevent a woman from getting a husband. |
quite obviously, he's been the target of an intensive smear campaign intended to act as a smokescreen for what's really going on. |
