donpeey22: @op, i think you are right in the sense that some ladies think that a man being 'God fearing' is a guarantee that he wouldn't cheat, but that's a very wrong assumption as many of the so called 'God fearing' men and even the so called 'men of God' have been caught in the act of marital infidelity. The truth is that many good men are even atheists who are naturally good and don't have have to live in perpetual fear of any 'god'. It takes a PRINCIPLED man whether atheist or theist, to stay faithful in marriage.is it even about principles? ![]() ah nor do is ah nor do, is it by force? ![]() not everyone is tripped by whatever is called titillating, for some, even if they are, they consider it a negative emotion. personally, i'm glad i'm not a man because i get so irritated by some things which others consider irresistible. cant imagine being constantly harassed in the name of na by force. lord have mercy. |
xyoung: Like the topic suggest, jus wanna sample opinions if this is anything wrong with this morally. I mean for a matured guy searching for a wife and assuming you see a girl that matches all your expectation on the physical beauty side (mind you, her character can only be known when you talk to her)you only saw her physical appearance and know nothing of her character. and vice versa. you could be boko haram for all anyone knows, and vice versa too. |
lord have mercy. |

carefreewannabe: What would it look like?i also wonder what he knows it will look like. |

triad: the heart of 'Man' is deceitful and desperately wicked who can know it only God .true that. |
the word bastard is used as an insult. however, it is wrong to call someone a bastard if the circumstances of their birth are none of your business. i'd say face your front and let the people concerned sort themselves out, ewo ni olugbeja on'ja. |
Salvation through Jesus Christ. That is indeed a gift of inestimable value. |
so you've never met a non-religious man who isnt a womanizer? seriously, i dont know where many of you nlers get your views from ,but you have to admit a lot of times, some of your views are just wack. |
Dopefiend:nigerian schools (including the medical ones) need to be vetted to check what kind of graduates they're producing. seems your choices and mindset are questionable, people like you should be subjected to close observation, in an ideal world. |
^ different families, different dynamics. what works for you may not necessarily work for another. hence, the op's point in opening the thread, makes no sense. |
@ topic game actually wouldnt include monkey. Or generally doesnt include monkey except in africa? |
will these animals ever be certified safe to eat again? they're generally an important part of the local cuisine. although of course if they're endangered then people have to eat regular meat or fish, or go vegetarian. |
marylandcakes: Rum in its self is alcohol so any cake with rum in the name cannot be free from alcohol.true, probably rum extract (alcohol free) or a substitute (artificial flavor) is used. http://www.thenewhomemaker.com/node/70785 http://www.justapinch.com/recipes/dessert/cake/rum-using-rum-or-rum-extracts-in.html |
looks good. |
i dont get involved in people's lives to that extent, ie to the extent i should be passing judgement on choices that concern only them, and which do not directly call for my involvement. everyone has their own challenges to face. |
looks interesting. especially the submit a movie feature. |
The Magician's Nephew “…But I cannot tell that to this old sinner, and I cannot comfort him either; he has made himself unable to hear my voice. If I spoke to him, he would hear only growlings and roarings. Oh Adam's sons, how cleverly you defend yourselves against all that might do you good! But I will give him the only gift he is still able to receive.” He bowed his great head rather sadly, and breathed into the Magician's terrified face. |
The Silver Chair “One thing I’d like to know,” said Puddleglum, “is whether anyone from our world–from up-a-top, I mean–has ever done this trip before?” “Many have taken ship at the pale beaches,” replied the Warden, “and–” “Yes, I know,” interrupted Puddleglum. “And few return to the sunlit lands. You needn’t say it again. You are a chap of one idea, aren’t you?” |

benromeo39: I personally do not care if my parents approve of the girl I want to marry, if convincing them proves futile, I'll simply run off with her and get married in the Caribbeans.why do you need other views? wetin you wan take views do? |
eleojo23: There is an erroneous thinking that the university is the best place to find a husband. It may have worked in the past but these days we have kids gaining admission into university. The guys are too young and may not even think about marriage for a very long time after graduation. So hooking up with these young boys with the hope that something will come out of the relationship is unrealistic unless the lady wants to have a long wait. I think it is a waste of precious time and energy unless both are mature and have high prospects of getting married. .i think you mean getting a job after university may take time. i doubt the average male in university these days is younger, because secondary school education is 6 years, add to that the long wait time which many experience before they get admission. the reason why going steady in university might not be as feasible now is due to globalization in addition to the points i outlined. besides, there are a lot of women who have graduated, are working and single. They'll also be searching for husbands, so all these things will make university relationships more challenging. |
yes. |
anytime i hear lynch these days, my mind immediately goes to aluu 4. |
quite literally true. |
