many weird things in the report. 1. the girl got admission to poly at the age of 24 2. when did she leave secondary school? Most kids graduate by 18, with the ssce system, unless they went to private schools. 3. that means she spent perhaps 6 years at home before gaining admission? 4. i suspect she might have generally been somewhat rebellious before now. 5. Hope she's a nler? (at least can she still access a computer) 6. when they moved from lagos to abuja, did she socialize with southerners mostly, or did her social circle consist mainly of northern muslims. (not saying anything's wrong with it, but for a young impressionable girl, she might want to fit in and not be an outsider). 7. why wasnt she sent to a school in the south? At least, that way, even if wayward (just saying), her waywardness would be with southern guys, although truth be told, that's also risky and dangerous, as we've seen time and time again. 8. the parents should just take the case to God and leave it there. At least they know where she is. What about the ones who get trafficked to italy and the middle east, so many evils happening in this world. |
@ gulderheart for you no doubt. |
adino: See how free suya has destroyed this girl's life. This same thing happened to a lady in one of my friends Nysc period in Borno. She was jazzed with free suya by the suya mallam. She denied everybody including her family. Last last she became muslim, pregnant and was forgotten.most of such conversions are probably aimed at destroying the girl's family or a wider demographic. a girl should judge a man's intent by his willingness to go an extra mile for her. If a muslim man cant follow his supposed girlfriend to church, then that imo, is a glaring red flag which should not be ignored. Do you think its sex you'll use to tie him down? A muslim man? of course some muslims might follow their girlfriends to church and then quit after they get what they want, but its still different than a woman saying she wants to become a muslim simply because she's dating (not even married to) a muslim man. by doing that, you're giving the man free rein to disrespect you. that's my understanding o, could be wrong. |
Most of your male friends on nl are yoruba, so whats with all this aggro. Nkan to ma nsu mi loro awon yoruba males ibi niyen. Its always their friends who start the anti-yoruba rants. Mrs chima claims she's married to an igbo, how many igbo males interact with her here? Very few. |
abu0710102013: We muslims say marriage dem say no its underage, pedopilia and child abuse. Pls provide solution to this. Oh sori she became pregnant at jss3 nawa pls nairalanders we want explanationMarriage does not necessarily prevent prostitution though. As long as there's a demand for it, supply will always be there. Premarital pregnancy is also not an excuse to go into prostitution. The underlying causes are deeper than all these. |
The actual reason why the girl is being kept by the emir is still unknown. On her part, the girl might be doing all this in an attempt to get a man, but its less clear what the emir stands to gain. For one, there are muslims in and from asaba, so its not like islam is unheard of there. Secondly, its not beauty (alone) because hausa girls easily dust off southerners in that area |
And if atheists comment the same way, then what happens? You switch to something else? Take responsibility for your own decisions dear. The buck has to stop at some point. |
Stories that touch. So, you have issues with your father ( supposedly), and thats why you, a grown ar.se man, must come to nl to whine about your name which for some reason, you're unable to do anything about. Where do they breed you people. Or, are you underage, like maybe 10 years old? Your cognition level seems to indicate that. |
1920MaMa: that man no be deeper life born again. i think he only feigned born-againsm just to get her.True that. Not so unusual anyway. |
Well, other countries can invite nigeria to help them develop their areas, this will encourage migration. |
Probably your posts, pictures and likes are being followed in india and asia, not so much esoteric as banal. It is all based on code anyway, and india has the coding monopoly firmly in its back pocket. |
Probably marriage things, @ 25, most nigerian women would have started to get worried about that. She might feel converting will improve her chances of getting a husband albeit a muslim one. There could be a muslim guy in the picture who she has a crush on, hope she doesnt end up as the multiple wife of an alfa. I doubt this type of scenario is as unusual as it appears however. There are many northerners who are of southern origin but claim north. |
Obviously there's a man involved, else she wouldnt still be shaping her eyebrows. |
seunfly: I have wondering why many marriage riped men are always scared to marry church girls, i av been hearing this for long time, now my friends and co-workers are saying the same thing. The shocking thing was when a highly spiritual brother said d same thing, now one of my spiritual mother said it.it actually is puzzling why so many males are choosing to remain single. Majority of these males are churchgoers. i feel its perhaps because some of them are aware of and maybe part of whatever ungodly things the girls may be doing. to answer your questions: 1. i dont know 2. just a sign of the times 3. fear they are not what they appear to be in church 4. floor may or may not be open since there are too many fantasy writers here. |
is this obesere the musician? he only has one wife? after all those videos and dancing girls? and why do these fuji artistes always go after beautiful women. |
maybe immigration and emigration will even things out. |
well, in view of the man shortage, i guess he'd still be in the pool of eligible males when women are searching for significant others? ![]() |
tax is not a word known in nigeria save for few parts of the country. |
I had never seen alhaji coming for hot alhajas is only our Christian sisters that fall victims of alhajishmmmmm and parent see what their children use whenever they come back from school and yet no query.hmmmmm |
would be nice if a nollywood movie could be made about it, we nigerians are rather short on empathy for our fellow women especially when it comes to relationship tangles. |
saxywale: Who is the guy on the right? he looks like opeifa though.i wondered also. maybe famakinwa? |
Gbawe: This is specifically one of the main priority of regional integration i.e to robustly address the poor transport network between SW States that is an impediment to optimal movement of goods and services/labour.valid point |
musiwa35: i am the missing link.. that is the only reason edo and delta, kwara and kogi will only join .did you just post a picture comparing yourself to gani? you even darkened your photo to boot, lol, you're too much abeg. ![]() |
FSU: Igbo women are liberated.yes o. also doesnt hurt to be strategically placed and grease the wheels somewhat. |
wow, see long epistle over other people's matter. this is why drug companies will continue to run profitably, since people will always need drugs for their self-induced hypertension which they acquired via gbeborun. op how far with ya farm na, the cows don comot, abi dem still dey there? i see you're sufficiently rested now and have moved on to other matters, does that mean the cows have gone. |
the father should leave her abeg. he should just keep tabs on her welfare from time to time, if possible. If not, then leave her in the hands of God. she says she's enjoying her new abode, so let her settle in. hope he has other kids? If not, he can adopt, surely. |
this woman dey enjoy sha! she married strategically well and yes, comes from a strategic family too. see appointments and juicy positions just falling into her laps from all angles. |
In Christ Alone In Christ alone my hope is found He is my light, my strength, my song This Cornerstone, this solid ground Firm through the fiercest drought and storm What heights of love, what depths of peace When fears are stilled, when strivings cease My Comforter, my All in All Here in the love of Christ I stand In Christ alone, who took on flesh Fullness of God in helpless babe This gift of love and righteousness Scorned by the ones He came to save ‘Til on that cross as Jesus died The wrath of God was satisfied For every sin on Him was laid Here in the death of Christ I live There in the ground His body lay Light of the world by darkness slain Then bursting forth in glorious Day Up from the grave He rose again And as He stands in victory Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me For I am His and He is mine Bought with the precious blood of Christ No guilt in life, no fear in death This is the power of Christ in me From life’s first cry to final breath Jesus commands my destiny No power of hell, no scheme of man Can ever pluck me from His hand ‘til He returns or calls me home Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand |
