i guess the man is rich. since the wife is missing or dead, who stands to inherit whatever he left behind? lord have mercy. |
well, its human beings who are on nl [i presume], but seriously, the idea of someone's "future husband" , or "future wife" for that matter, being here, is rather scary. however, what's good for the goose is also good for the gander, so, i guess people can find their prospective partners on the site, i suppose. |
only Jesus does that ![]() |
^the one what? |
Dawdy: Alaafia peacecorrect, mostly. |
warrior101: "Toro" as used in aye toro? I doubt if that can pass as Peace. More like Blizz to me.i already corrected myself. Tooro is calm, not necessarily peace. killuminati: I no be yoruba boy but I know say...'Ifokan'bale' means 'peace of mind'. So if 'peace of mind' is 'ifokan'bale', the 'ifokan' should be 'peace'.ifokan is state of mind. |
gulfer: I suppose the Yoruba name for peace, is 'Ifokanbale'ifokanbale refers to the individual, not the environment. so, it means rest of mind, and is descriptive, not a noun. |
negro already pointed out the difficulty in trying to directly transcribe yoruba words or syntax to english. and yes, ire can mean, or means goodness. |
interesting topic. |
interesting thread, probably should be referenced. |
there are many challenges. |
i think these citizenship laws were originally created for african americans, chinese and other minorities who had been in the US for generations (at the time) yet were not given the benefits of citizenship. have to look it up, not very familiar with this aspect of history. and didnt nigerians make a movie called anchor baby? never watched it yet, maybe i should do so. |
and like i said, let's try to minimize mentioning any overhyped "laws", regardless how many times you've tried and tested them, thanks. |
ELgordo: Damn# I lull this track! Bow down Bit*hes! Get on ur knees!sounds like onila. |
onila should love this song, she's a big fan of the b word. |
^he or she probably got curious due to the large number of ex threads found on nl. very high obsession with exes here. |
i dont think he has too much connection with africa. his dad was half chinese and his mum is half asian half white. so, his black side is actually minimal, and has never been linked to africa, as far as i know. could be indian, melanasian or something. |
this should make for interesting reading [plus majorly fake scenarios of course]. but, since most nlers seem to be fixated on their exes [scarily so], this topic has long been in the making. and please, minimize the mention of okoro's law. |
[quote author=Ms_ShaQ]God bless the makeup artist! [/quote]well, that's what they're paid for. |
why are people so busy spreading fake news on the web? not referring to linda in particular (after all she must have heard it from somewhere), but just speaking generally. this is why some states are setting up committees to tackle rumour mongering. although the state of education in nigeria also has to be tackled sha. |
Chynx: The last time I checked, this forum was still for sane people. You for wait make d beer clear for ya eye b4 u comment hia pally!!!@ bolded says who? ![]() and "still" meaning what? There was a time when it was for sane people? ![]() |
op thought you said this was a series. so, where's the rest. |
there's some type of resemblance between her and the greek lady orikinla was promoting. dont know if its the makeup. |
all these spies aka yahoo yahoo. |
afrobaby: I cry in most movies, I aman emotional personvery emotional movie, true. Even the proposal, lolthe one about the green card? That was actually hilarious. ![]() |

Latoya: have u seen BEAUTY SHOP?seen it, i must say, the white guy [kevin bacon] was a riot. switching from the fake french accent back to his normal american one, has to be one of the funniest plot twists ever. he was so snotty too. |
@ ejine ^i'm not getting agitated over what doesnt concern me, after all its not like they remember me when they're spending their billions or millions, so na them sabi who dem wan date, whether chinese or caucasian or arab. my point was your post applies to both black men and black women. |
I can pull up numerous blogs swarming with low self esteem-having black women who write articles on "How To Get A White Guy".but you cant find the equivalent on nl right? "i want to date a white woman", etc etc, maybe your computer doesnt notice threads like that. I can show you numerous black women in Hollywood who only date (and still get dumped by) white guysare you saying black guys do not get dumped by white women? |
has anyone posted info on the girl yet, or you're still debating what nobody sent you. the guy is handsome sha, all these young girls in nigeria or wherever, better step up your game, why is he still single. |
