Education › Re: Would You Study The Same Course Again? by tpia5: 9:07am On Jan 20, 2013
Yes, actually.

I enjoyed my course and school back then.

I'd love to work there, although i dont know if that's ever going to happen

Even though some times were tough then sha, but thank God.

On second thought, i might change to something more lucrative, but same school (OAU)

Gone are the days when people valued marriage.

Nowadays, most just consider it a race to see who hops out faster.

No biggie.

It might be a big deal for those looking for something serious on here sha.

And just have it at the back of your mind the guy or girl you're chatting with, might be the opposite gender to what they portray.
Family › Re: Child Spacing by tpia5: 11:52pm On Jan 19, 2013
From what i heard, all things being equal, its probably better to have all your kids within the minimal amount of time, without too much spacing.

Now, when curveballs are introduced in whatever form, eg travel, work, whatever makes the above inconvenient or delayed, then you do what works for your situation.

citizenisb: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-01-17/us-drones-boots-arrive-mali

Mali is one of the most irrelevant countries in West Africa from a resource standpoint, and what happens inside of it is certainly irrelevant from a greater geopolitical standpoint.

What is more important is what this map doesn't show, specifically the name of the country located a few hundred miles to the south: Nigeria.

Now Nigeria is important: very important. Or rather, Nigerian light sweet, one of the highest quality crudes in the world, is. And thanks to the "bungled" French peacemaking attempt, the US now has a critical foothold in what is the most strategically placed stretch of desert in Western Africa, a place where US "military trainers" will now be deployed at will.

Be on the lookout for curious escalations in violence around the capital Abuja, and key port city Lagos, in the coming months once the current Mali fracas is long forgotten.
i think mali is a merging point between north and west africa.

that's why its strategic.

remember i started off with red bricks before going on to plaster finishes.

i was referring to the walls, not the roof. Sorry for the mix up there.

your roof is ok, my emphasis was on replacing or combining paint with something else.

and, I've seen some of these plastering designs in nigeria, there should just be a more affordable version for lower cost housing which would still look good.

even our mud huts have some type of finishing in that mold, nah,

Marry me Juliet
You'll never have to be alone
I love you and that's all I really know
I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress
It's a love story baby just say yes
"Chorus from love story"
love story is good, but i think she almost topped it with "we're never getting back together" (very difficult feat).

her expression at 1:20 mins into the video, always has me rolling with laughter.

"then you go and find your peace of mind with some indie record that's MUCH COOLER than mine". cheesy

she's so talented.

i guess the long and short of it is, music is very demanding, hard to balance a personal life and career when you're in this business.

still not an excuse however, but i know its tough. undecided

people are generally more relaxed about such things these days, compared to before.

besides, i think strict adherence to dining table etiquette is more of a british or middle/upper class nigerian phenomenon.

these days, there are alternatives to eating at table- eg kitchen islands, recliners with cup holders, etc.

although eating or tossing salad is better at table sha.

if your girlfriends dont wash pant, una go say dem no wash am.

dem wash the undies, una still dey vex.

this lack of farming exposure is contributing to gayishness in some guys, i'm sure.

una don become women finish.

anyway, women, cover the undies with a wrapper or something, it will all still dry together. Dont let the guys or your fellow women do rituals with your undies o.
