^^ is there a reason why you felt like resurrecting this particular thread? ![]() |
^^ my remark was meant to be tongue in cheek actually. I wouldnt expect an educated man to ask his wife to kneel while serving him every single day, though never say never. Stranger things have happened. some strongly traditional males do require such mannerisms, however. And no doubt there are women who love to "cater to" their men that way. |
what's the major difference between love and hate? Arent they two sides of the same coin? ie emotion I've told many of you to think before you type. Even humans can say they love each other one minute then hate themselves the next. what's so hard to understand about this? ![]() |
if the odour is offensive, then why would you hang around the person? ![]() abi what's the meaning of offensive. |
^^ yes nah. they're very fast when it comes to getting a mate. while the slimmer girls would still be hemming and hawing, thinking they've got their figure. life sha! at this rate gabourey sef will soon announce her engagement, never mind the males shouting here. |
lord have mercy. |
@ bb bake https://www.ninaspencer.com/imgs/email/trouble-maker.jpg @ topic and yet the fat women never lack for boyfriends and husbands. Yet I've seen many skinny ones who do. (lack for suitable males). na so these men go dey deceive the slim ladies while time flies by. |
^^ these days out of twelve, eleven and a half will be judas or want to be like judas. when the Son of Man returns will he find any faith left on the earth at all. |
because handsome men are picky and most times vain? ![]() |
Tayo okora:relax. and you do know there's a tribe called Igbo and another one called Ibibio, right? ![]() Igbibio is news to me, hence my comment. So, no, I didnt have any idea which tribe you were referring to. or is your guy Igbo and Ibibio? |
ok! too many ibons to bother about. these days. |
black beans and bread. yes, I know. https://dustinmaherfitness.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/black_bean_soup.jpg |
meats for the belly and the belly for meats but both will still end up six feet under anyway. |
AdeRex:i know you're here to fight, kiss backside (for whatever reason) and lord knows what else, and I surely will blame myself for answering your post, but do you by any chance not have a search function at your end? ![]() Plz do NOT reply! stupidity reigns on NL |
going by the photo alone, that medusa head doesnt look as impressive as the old one, and isnt the hero supposed to have long hair? ![]() anyway, let me wait and see the movie. |
when d Africa in your man wakes up ![]() |
can someone set me straight here because I'm getting rather confused. If the bride is kneeling down to feed her husband cake, does she do it while the man is seated, because if he's standing (as they both have to be when cutting the cake), then how does she reach up to put the piece of cake in his mouth? ![]() maybe i need to go back to bed or something because its really not making sense to me when I think about it. OP did you run away. |
since when did nigerian men become so hard to get? ![]() Is there something I'm missing here or is the thread sarcasm. anyway, offtopic: "Igbibio" that's a new one. abi na new tribe. I HAVE BEEN WITH A NIGERIAN MAN BEFORE AND IN ALL HONESTLY THAT WAS THE ONLY TIME IN MY LIFE I EVER FELT LIKE A WOMAN naija males= universal panadol |
!!!! |
at some stage, Nigerians will one day ask their forefathers and tribal progenitors why they decided to settle in their respective locations in what is now known as Nigeria instead of continuing the great eastern or western migration into other parts of africa. why didnt they keep their wagons on the trail till they reached ghana or kenya - whichever applies. |
I tire for church people. many of them are just there for various demonic purposes. sometimes I just wonder why many of us even bother calling ourselves Christians since deep down we dont really want to be known as such. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable |
I dont understand your story. You're saying your wife (who you live with) is pregnant for another man? ![]() |
how did pet names enter this discussion? ![]() |
akinolasam:wait just a minute sha. I dont think I've been to any wedding where the bride knelt down to feed the husband cake. Usually both remain standing when feeding each other. Feel free to prove me wrong by letting us know how many weddings you attended and saw this. btw, in Yoruba culture the groom has to prostrate fully multiple times during the wedding, for the bride's family. Does that continue afterwards or is it only a one time thing. |
I guess the OP's point here is It shouldnt be a one day only thing ie only happening on the wedding day. una no dey appreciate men ni? ![]() its things like this that make the men run to other countries to find wives. |
even if there's only one piece of meat left in the stew, na my husband go get am. that's how I roll as a dedicated African woman, and I see nairaland has gotten boring again hence the strange topics here and there. |
Horus:this was your post which i responded to: The bible is nothing more than an ancient soap opera. It is filled with hate, death, murder, prostitution, suicide and lustthe bible describes life. Life itself is an ancient soap opera, not a bed of roses, so if you abuse the bible for appearing like a soap opera, then you should also look around you and do a reality check. |
to all the one-liner "bible give it a rest abeg. You only make yourselves look dafter and dafter with the way you randomly crank out single verses which you obviously came across by closing your eyes, placing your finger somewhere on a bible chapter, then rushing to nairaland to "drop" the single verse you heard or discovered. sounds more like semi literacy than anything else, imo. seems like scamming and con-men techniques too. are you typing with your beer bottles by your side? ![]() |
