Health › Re: Should Women Continue Using Sanitary Pads: by tpiah: 4:14am On Jul 31, 2010
@ poster

there's a smell factor with towels. That's why disposable mediums are necessary.

true, sanitary pads , tampons etc arent recyclable, but maybe they'll get biodegradable with time or something. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

btw, some forms of birth control eliminate menstruation completely. not without risks though.
Food › Re: Corn by tpiah: 4:10am On Jul 31, 2010
where are you located? huh

try one of the seafood or farmers markets.

if you're lucky, you might get nigerian-style corn though dont bet on it.

note- i said seafood market, not seafood restaurant.

that's American style of doing things
i think maybe early response might have made it so. thot they have been collecting the oil
quite possible.

i wonder if nigeria ever made an attempt to collect the oil at any time during the past couple of decades?

interesting how there's a news blackout in this area.

@ topic

there's no need to argue endlessly over this matter with cameroon or anybody.

the govt and private investors should fund at least three other ranches in other parts of the country.

places likes ondo, nassarawa, kebbi, benue, etc etc, all have mountainous land and plenty of forests.

the only thing needed is controlling the security situation especially in ondo state.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Luxury Car Worth £1.2m Clamped Outside Harrods by tpiah: 3:38pm On Jul 30, 2010
the Quatari billionaires own the store [Harrods], not the cars.

the cars probably belong to some rival families or principalities.

on 8 May 2010, Mohamed Al-Fayed sold the store to Qatar Holdings for a sum of £1.5 billion

the term "fear God" doesnt necessarily only mean someone who's an outright atheist, in case anyone was wondering.

Politics › Re: Wow! Like Bakassi, Obudu Going, Going, Gone To Cameroon? by tpiah: 1:29pm On Jul 30, 2010
let the nigerian govt or private investors build more ranches in other parts of nigeria.

lagos would have been ideal but this type of project requires too much land, so let them use other states like ondo, maybe nassarawa, kaduna, kebbi and/or a middle belt state like benue.
Politics › Re: General Institutional Stupidity Of Most Nigerians - The Bakassi/obudu Case by tpiah: 1:24pm On Jul 30, 2010
the real issue here is the nigerian govt should have at least three obudu style ranches in different parts of the country.

i see no reason why they cant have one in ondo state [plenty of forestland there], another one somewhere around abuja and a third one in kaduna or it's environs-anywhere not prone to civil unrest.

the ondo one should be located closer to the north central part of the state and away from the militant headquarters in the south. In addition, they should get rid of the armed robber/political problems plaguing the area, so these plans can be implemented.
