Christianity EtcWhat Has Been Your Experience Standing Alone As A Nigerian Christian by tpiar(op):
I've observed Nigerians (especially the Christians) do not know anything about how to relate with people who are outcasts or who stand alone. Rather than learn the basics of interacting with people who are socially reclusive, they simply ostracize them further and imply they are bad.

I'm of the opinion this is due to ignorance and an exalted sense of pride.

What I'm saying is Elisha had a healing ministry and he applied it fully.
Christianity EtcRe: A Study Of 2 Kings 1: The Worship Of Baalzebub And It's Consequences by tpiar(op): 5:42am On Jan 20, 2020
2 Kings 2

Healing of the Water
The people of the city said to Elisha, “Look, our lord, this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is bad and the land is unproductive.”

“Bring me a new bowl,” he said, “and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him.

Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying, “This is what the Lord says: ‘I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.’” And the water has remained pure to this day, according to the word Elisha had spoken.
Note the bolded. After Elijah was taken up by the whirlwinds, Elisha received his mantle. An important observation here is Elijah controlled winds, and at the end of his ministry, the winds took him up after being called down. This wrapped up Elijah's presence and he passed on his anointing to Elisha as a ministry of restoration. Thus Elisha restored by the power of God, what baal had laid waste.

So, read the rest of the chapter in the light of the bolded quote and do not ascribe what did not happen, to events there.
Christianity EtcRe: A Study Of 2 Kings 1: The Worship Of Baalzebub And It's Consequences by tpiar(op): 4:40am On Jan 20, 2020
and, behold, (Elijah) sat on the top of an hill. And (a messenger) spake unto him, Thou man of God, . . . Come down.
And the third (messenger) went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee
At this time, Baal was the deity worshipped and the messengers who were sent to bring Elijah, went with the authority of baal, not God. They were representatives of Baal. The third messenger realized baal cannot stand before the Most High God, therefore he fell to his knees and quickly beseeched Elijah to pity him instead of leaving him to suffer the punishment meted out to baal. And God heard his prayer and spared him.
Christianity EtcA Study Of 2 Kings 1: The Worship Of Baalzebub And It's Consequences by tpiar(op):
And Ahaziah . . . was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them, Go, enquire of Baalzebub whether I shall recover of this disease.

But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers . . . and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God . . . that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub?
And he said unto them, What manner of man was he which came up to meet you, and told you these words?

And they answered him, He was an hairy man, and girt with a girdle of leather about his loins.

Interesting point of view.

Do you mean encouraging immigration to the state? ie making it more cosmopolitan like Lagos.

There would have to be job growth that could aid that.

You shouldn't need to be told:

1. Not every single thing that happens in this life must be brought here

2. When you are given a bed for you, your wife and another female to pass the night, sleep on the floor or a couch, it's only for some hours.

Must everything be spelled out? Just use your common sense in starting threads.

As for the person whose topic is about married people sense of entitlement, your op is too long.

PoliticsUpdating Wiki Pages, Are Some Ethnicities More Proactive About This Than Others? by tpiar(op): 11:19pm On Jan 14, 2020
I was rather confused about the new governor of Imo state, so I looked him up on wiki. To my surprise, the page had already been updated to reflect today's events.

I was wondering if some ethnicities are more proactive than others on social media and wiki? It does seem that way.
