RomanceRe: How To Have Love Instead Of Hate For Your Fellow Humans by tpiar(op): 1:45am On Sep 13, 2019
1If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

2 If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.

3 If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.

4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud

5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.

6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.

PoliticsWhat Do We Have 2 Fear From Our Nigeria Brethren Esp. The Recently Returned Folk by tpiar(op):
I'm picking up a very strong fearful vibe from Nigerians on this matter.

Going by what I've seen from Nigerians of Nigeria and their open hostility towards their targets who they have vowed to destroy by any means, what are the dangers to be expected from our brethren who unceremoniously arrived back in Nigeria without planning to?

Many of them are on social media in particular and following what people do there.

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet.
TravelQuestions That Need To Be Included On Nigerian USA Visa Applications by tpiar(op):
These questions need to be included:

1. Do you hold any grudges against anyone there?

2. What is your opinion of Americans and American culture? Do you like or dislike it?

3. Explain number 2 in more detail

4. What do you dislike about America and Americans?

5. Do your religious beliefs allow for tolerance?

6. Are you going to the USA with the intention of harassing, emotionally and mentally torturing, attacking, punishing, disturbing and spiritually or physically harming someone there?

7. Are you willing and able to swear or sign an affidavit testifying you would be of good behaviour? If yes, continue to next question with the understanding should a report be made of your violating these terms, you are subject to penalties including deportation. If no, do not proceed further with your application.

8. Who referred you to this place? Can you provide a guarantor for your continued good behaviour and willingness to work in a non conflictual manner where teamwork may be involved in your religious setting.

9. List all names of your babalawos and olugbejas.

10. Do you especially dislike Nigerian Americans, because they're neither here nor there, not Nigerian and not American but trying to speak with weird accents you don't like and behaving as if they're better than you?

11. Which of the Nigerian Americans especially annoys you the most? Are you comfortable mentioning her name?

Are you saying our Nigerian Christian brethren are attempting to use juju or fetish to fight their wars after they travel overseas against other Nigerians such as myself?

Any such juju is back to sender in Jesus name.

It's really annoying there are so many pagan churchgoers these days. Why are they comfortable combining the two?

I’m surprised that National Orientation Agency ( NOA) is not there. (they). . . need to . . . learn communal living, respect for others especially your hosts, working within the law. . . departure from criminal activities.
Skills acquisition is a start. I'd say maybe register in school also, for those who don't have an education yet.

Owning a business is an additional bonus, healthcare training is always in vogue, as Nigeria's population gets older, we need to look into elderly care and train more people for this.

JaceBlaze:
How did African countries get it wrong even after so many years of their respective liberation? how did a country that was liberated only two decades ago (South Africa) end up being the gateway to the rest Africa?...

And to those who always claim that the benefits they enjoy today is because of the long years of white rule, well it's half truth and half lie.We can't deny that Apartheid ended up working to their advantage but there are too many things that blacks in South Africa didn't have access to before 1994,and besides,I think the "white rule" excuse is now overplayed since almost all infrastructure in Africa was built by colonisers.

I feel lazy to write long paragraphs, but I just want to know:where did the rest of Africa really go wrong?
South Africa got her independence in 1934.

Democratic rule began in 1994.

Is that what you mean @ bolded.

RomanceRe: What Are You Bringing To The Table? by tpiar: 11:28pm On Sep 11, 2019
MrBrownJay1:
Pls don't get me wrong.... I certainly believe that such destitute women (with nothing to offer) are a minority, but they are out there and sadly, many are good at pretending that they are not like that, in order to attach to your life like a leach.... but as you start dating them, you realize you are with a liability.

Sadly, by then you rightfully have to get rid of this lady from your life, and as you start explaining to her that it just won't work out, they become very defensive, to the point where, when you ask for your shiit back (phone/gift/loan etc) they have the audaciry to ask you to repay them for the mileage you put on their valuable toto. Kai!!!!!

Thus the important question being asked:" what are you bringing (of value) to this union, but a warm coochie?"
Please stop using terms like warm coochie and referring to women's private parts unnecessarily.

It's so disrespectful and incredibly vulgar, I wonder you are so unabashed with your language.

As per your ideal woman or women who are billionaires and not liabilities in any ramification, spend your time on them and leave the misfits you dont like, alone.

I think by now we get it- you dont like women who are useless liabilities, you repeat this almost every day, we've heard so move on.

BlackAfrican:
Men sometimes ask women this question especially if they are considering spending the rest of their life with the woman.

The question may sound offensive though, especially if the woman is the type that doesn't add any value to the relationship apart from giving sex and getting money.

For the men, this is a very good question to ask "yourself" first to avoid becoming a liability or marrying a liability...

You can then ask the woman you plan to settle down with indirectly or more politely if you're concerned about what contribution she'll add to make marriage work.

Things guys mean by the above question include:

1. Are you an asset?
2. Are you enterprising?
3. Are you resourceful, reliable and dependable?
4. Do you have a job, business or handwork that you can later scale or expand to provide some level of financial stability?
5. Can you contribute towards the upkeep of the family via what you earn or the business you do, especially when the guy is down financially? You never can tell.
6. Are you the type that can contribute towards a family project like buying a land, building a house, etc.
7. Are you good in taking care of home and children, cooking, domestic choirs, etc?
8. Are you properly trained, have good manners, etc? No man wants a trouble maker as wife

In summary, men don't want to marry liabilities as a wife.... someone who only knows how to spend and incur expenses without earning anything or knowing how to invest. Unfortunately, na this category of girls plenty pass for street... all they do is fix lashes and long nails and wear makeup then hop from one dïck to another and get free cash...the easy money make them forget they need to develop themselves to have and meet the qualities listed above.

God help us all.
Stop this.

Just face your front and let others be.

It seems Nigerians are obsessed with travelling abroad without weighing the benefit.
True.

Most often, the thought of others being abroad is the impetus that makes them want to go abroad.

People spent up to N1m to travel to SA?

Also keeping in mind, all people are not the same, closeness for one might be annoying for another.

People browsing these forums might be getting an impression Nigerians have very close knit loving family structures and everybody likes each other.
