FamilyRe: My Wife Is Adulterous: Advice Needed-long Post by traeces(m): 11:32am On Nov 26, 2017
The idea of a cheating wife is one of the most difficult things for a man to process in a marriage but you are not the first and you won't be the last unfortunately. At least she is sorry and grieving. For a working class wife in the UK where she could easily have called the police on you for the violent behavior of shoving her against the wall and breaking her phone, that is something.
Forgive her and save your marriage
RomanceRe: .. by traeces(m): 7:06am On Oct 27, 2017
I am sorry about your plight and I truly wish I could give you the 30k just to keep you from wasting yourself but I can't. Here are 6 points I want you to note:
1.) Suicide does not solve the problem, it only compounds it both for you and your loved ones.
2.) Heaven and hell fire is real and it is appointed unto man to die once, after that judgement. No matter your plight in life, it pales in comparison to the eternal agonies of hell fire.
3.) Your situation will be answered prayer for countless others who wish they are who you are, or had what you have or can do what you can do.
4.) Nobody owes you anything and you need to get that into your head. Whether the people that have refused to help you actually did not have or simply chose not to help is nothing for which they should apologise.
5.) Nobody loves you enough to do for you what you will not do for yourself. Think, work (even if it is menial), save, invest, grow.
6.) Believe it or not, there is light at the end of the tunnel and this too shall pass if you hang in long enough. There is no problem without solution.

Christianity EtcRe: Traumatized Nigerian Doctor Shares His Experience With A Ghost by traeces(m): 3:18pm On May 28, 2017
duketunde:
"I encountered the ghost of a dead woman yesterday night/early hours of this morning. Remembering it still sends chills across my body.
Personally, I don't believe in ghosts. I know that it is appointed unto men once to die, and after that, judgment follows. I said let me tell you, to hear your opinion. I don't know who else to confide in about this. I'm a doctor. I can't be telling stories about ghosts online. No one will believe it. I'll sound insane.

Yesterday night that brought in today, I took call for a colleague who was having menstrual pain. She begged me to do the call for her. Then, a woman was brought in with what I suspected to be post surgical sepsis. The op site was soaked with effluent from the wound. The surgery was done at State Specialist Hospital three days prior to presenting to us. Her temperature read "Hi" on the thermometer, which means her body was so hot that the thermometer could not record it. I called my seniors who were in theatre then, told them what I have with me in the emergency, and I took instructions from them. I secured IV access. I gave 2g of IV cefriaxone (Rocephin brand) stat, and IV Flagyl 500mg stat. She was going. I called my seniors again and told them temperature is not coming down after one hour. I was told to give IV PCM 600mg stat. I then reopened the wound, washed with NS, and redressed with savlon and povidone iodine.

She was a Yoruba Christian. She was praying, holding my hands, saying that I should not let her die, that she still has little children at home. She then started behaving abnormally, talking irrationally and screaming, also convulsing intermittently.
At this point, I called a senior who came in, assessed her and told me privately that she won't make it. He told me to continue masterly activity which I did.

She finally died after few hours she was brought in. I certified her dead in her file, disconnected all life support, and went to my house to sleep around 3am when the call got less busy. I was weak and sad. Did you know, this woman followed me home. I was shocked when I felt there was someone looking at me from my window. My body was shaking. I've never believed in ghosts, but she came to my window and stood there, with same clothes she was wearing when she was brought in. She said why did I allow her to die. I was lost for words for a moment, thinking I was dreaming. But damn, it wasn't a dream. I just drank coke from the fridge few minutes ago. I rebuked her in Jesus' name, telling her I did my best. I told her to go back to where she came from. She stood there for a while, looking at me, then turned and walked away. I heard her footsteps as she walked away. I didn't sleep again till morning. I opened the fridge and took out coke and drank, to be sure I was not dreaming, then started praying in tongues to control the fear in my heart."

What can be a reasonable explanation for this?

That woman, a Yoruba CHRISTIAN who was praying is with her maker and in a better place. What you saw, heard(footsteps) and felt was the activity of demons capitalizing on your psyche, emotions, etc to make that appearance in the form of your late patient and if you are familiar with Satan's tactics, you know he did it in the garden of eden when he appeared to Eve as a serpent.
Christianity EtcGovernance Code: My Contribution To The Discourse By TRAECES by traeces(op): 10:14am On Jan 09, 2017
While I will not hold brief for the Government of Buhari regarding the belief in many quarters that his government has an agenda for the Islamization of Nigeria, I call on Nigerians particularly Christians to desist from allowing sentiments becloud our sense of Judgement as far as the enforcement of this governance code is concerned.
The aim of ethical corporate governance the world over is to maximize the welfare and interests of all stakeholders and the society. All ethically governed organizations are complaint with applicable laws, treat stakeholders without discrimination and are accountable. No good business man appoints a manager who is also the accountant or who even has power to appoint an accountant and if people are wise enough not to do that, you don't expect God to.
Today, we see and hear people talk disrespectfully about the church institution and we are offended and rightfully so but do you realize we gave them a basis? Why will church business be family business? Did we see that in the apostles? Was it not the apostles that asked for men filled with the spirit of God to be appointed to do administrative work so that they could give themselves to prayer and the study of the word in Acts 6? Did we not see in Romans 13:1-6 where we are admonished to submit to governing authorities and do what is right because government (whether APC or PDP) is an establishment of God? Why will any pastor say he is doing the work of God and so is accountable only to God whom he does not see?
Imagine that God calls us to give, pay tithes, love,...but he appoints human agencies to receive all of these on his behalf. In fact the bible says "how can we claim to love God whom we have not seen if we can't love people created in his image?" In the same way, we can't claim accountability to God if we cannot be accountable to government and the public!
No servant of God with honest intentions towards the work of God and towards the flock that God has put under him will frown at the implementation of this law. It is the right thing to do and am delighted because it will bring a lot of sanity to the church of God. The so-called orthodox churches that have adopted this code for over 50 years now are no fools, it is the model that God operates.

Just so you know, Traeces is a born again, tongue-talking and spirit filled child of God who worships God in a very Pentecostal church.

Morning everyone.
Now I really really laugh at some silly chaps here trying to corner me and tell me I don't really know christ. Someone asking me how I got the holy spirit with the manifestation of speaking in tongues. Lol!
I made the first set of Baba Ogundare's Trainees. If only you know who Rev. Ogundare is. Or if only you know who Rev. Olusola Areogun is, you folks won't be spewing thrash here.
Before I even met them I was already well seeped in the gospel. I don't just read the bible, I have books I have written based on the revelation of the holy spirit to me as I read the bible.
At home I was regarded as a prophet. I prayed at least 6hrs none stop everyday. My mum felt I was called for a special assignment so she encouraged me after many attempts to stop me.
She used to be scared I would die of fasting. And yeah people die of fasting. Had a brother in CAC campus fellowship FUTA that died around 2010 from complications that were a result of fasting.

You christians here have no idea the kind of life I lved for christ.

I lived so well for god that when I became an atheist, I became the type that if you visit me to preach to me, you will leave almost throwing your bible away.

Nairaland is not enough to tell it all. I am the kind of guy that if I had continued as a christian would have ended up a legend.

So dear christians hold your horses.
Now shall I continue?

Which holy spirit revealed stuff to you that you wrote in books?
Which Christ did you live for?
In Luke 22:31, Jesus spoke to Simon and said, "Simon, Simon (Peter) Listen! Satan has asked excessively that you be given up to him [out of the power and keeping of God] and that he might sift you like grain"
Few minutes before i came across your post, i was meditating on this scripture and I heard the holy spirit say, In spite Simon's privileges, exposure and discipler, Satan did not give up on him so I must take heed unto myself.
Then I came across your post and all the experiences you claimed you had which i do not disbelieve by the way, I realised the double need to take heed to myself.
For that Child of God out there questioning his faith as a result of this post. Let me tell you three things the writer will probably not tell you because he has no idea.
1.) The OP probably had a faulty foundation (PS 11:3)
2.) The OP was so busy with "Ministry" he forgot to take heed to himself (1 Timothy 4:16)
3.) He probably did not submit himself to any spiritual authority as he was an authority to himself (James 4:7)
Learn from his mistakes and avoid his pitfalls.
To the OP, my heart goes out to you. I actually have no words for you but i pray that God in his mercies and infinite capacity to deliver delivers you from this dark place where the devil with the active cooperation of your will has led you into in Jesus name, Amen.

theplanmaker:
I heard a story like that, don't know if it's true o. It may be fiction.
A guy dated a girl for 2years, both of them were students then. He loved her so much, and even offended his mother and sister just to please her. Her dad died along the way leaving her stranded. The guy in question practically extorted his well to do parents to pay her fees and keep her in school. One thing led to another, and he discovered that the girl was cheating. He broke up with her, and she kept begging and sending people to beg him. Eventually she was forgiven. The same thing happened again, this time it was with a friend of the guy. She pleaded again, and the guy was stupid enough to forgive. Infact, he introduced her to his family. He eventually graduated and left town, but kept hearing rumours that she was dating one doctor infact they were engaged. all the while she was still collecting money from him for project seminar etc. She collected close to 70k. When he came back to town he confronted her about the cheating, and this time she did not beg anymore, she just said she wanted to break up, that she has found someone that wants to marry her next year, and since the guy still has law school and service in front of him, he should look for someone else. He knelt down to plead with her, even sent the same people she sent previously to beg her. He offered to marry her after law school, but she just refused. So the guy accepted his fate. One day he went to her house, after talking they ended up having sex. She didn't know that the guy had set his phone to capture everything, and even took some pictures when he was pretending to answer a call. He sent her the video and pictures on bbm the next day. And he didn't contact her again until he left for law school. The guy isn't interested in blackmailing, or making the video public, but then as she is getting married, let her leave with the guilt that someone somewhere has secrets that could destroy her. While he is managing a broken heart, she should manage a troubled heart. Scores are level, no hard feelings.
Pele, sorry cos i now feel the pain but still, let her go.
I know you are not the one but please free her.
I can imagine what she's put you, sorry the person through but the only reason why you, I mean the person would still have wanted to marry her in spite of everything was obsession which is never a good thing.
Like I said, you, I mean the person might not be planning to release the video but you know, thing could spiral out of control as they often do and you, sorry the person would then wish he had listened.
RomanceRe: Please Help Me, He Has My Nudes. by traeces(m): 9:35am On Nov 29, 2014
I read this guy is on nairaland so am guessing he'll read this. A few issues for you to consider;
1.) Right now, you have put this girl where you wanted and you can exercise so much power over her so much so that so many people are begging you to do the honorable thing, note however that you may not always be in control. You could loose you device, a devious pal might copy the files or she could sue you for blackmail. Last I checked, it is still a crime. She hurt you-yes and that was her decision and you had no control over that but what are you going to do? That will be your decision and you can choose to be the magnanimous one by freeing her which I urge you to do or just be like her by taking your revenge.

2. Desperate situations call for desperate measures. We live in a clime where human life is not valued at all. I have always reasoned that the hoodlums who pulled the trigger on the several high profile unresolved assassination cases in this country were people who on a normal day were not qualified to be gatemen in the houses of aides of their victims but with a gun they cut short promising lives. I hear you've gone to law school so I take it you are a promising lad but remember for just a wrap of marijuana and a shot of gin, some hoodlum might be willing to snuff out your precious life and considering what this girl has been through these few days, I can bet my brunch she has contemplated that option at least once.

3. There are indications here and there in the story so far that you might be or might have been obsessed with her which is not a good thing for you so I believe strongly that it was in your best interest that things had to end the way they did. Free her and move on, take your lessons with you. Trust me, the feeling that will come to you when you finally erase everything and call her to tell her you have forgiven her and erased everything is such that you have never experienced. And you know what's more? She will be eternally grateful.

It is cunningly queer and smacks of sycophancy that people like the self-acclaimed NL billionaire will compare Nigeria's indebtedness to that of the US. The US borrowed to invest in her economy with the citizenry being better off as a result while Nigeria borrowed for our leaders to loot with the citizenry becoming worse off. So tell me how you can sit there and compare Nigeria's borrowing to that of the US.
As far as am concerned, that comparison is same as comparing Dangote who borrowed 1 billion dollars from a consortium of banks to invest in his highly flourishing cement business to say a foolish governor who borrows 1 billion naira to carry some of his mistresses on an all expense paid 5-star class vacation in the Carri bean. One is productive and the other is not.

Thank God you probably already know the OP is not your sister so she could go to hell for all you care but what if she were?
The humane thing any goodhearted person would have done should had been to comfort and advice her. Anyone of you today on that other side could very well find yourselves in this OP's shoes and if and when that time comes, know it will be criminal for you to expect to be treated any differently cos in life, you reap what you sow.

In Benue state, there are livestock farms scattered in nearly every town.
I know of a cattle market in Katsina-ala and Makurdi. Poultry farms typically stock less than 10000 birds though a number of them are out of business. Middlemen weekly bring in thousands of crates of eggs into the state from neighboring state like enugu and jos.
Eggs sell for between 700-800/crate while a 2kg live weight broiler sell for between 1200-2000 naira.
Of all the eateries in the state, only a few like titogate and edomat patronise local farmers.
Dealers of lifestock inputs include Jonny, Omega and others in Makurdi, Frankama, Cyrok, all season in Gboko, Madam Tibor in Katsina-ala.
Feeds that are readily available here are majorly vital feeds.
