"I encountered the ghost of a dead woman yesterday night/early hours of this morning. Remembering it still sends chills across my body.
Personally, I don't believe in ghosts. I know that it is appointed unto men once to die, and after that, judgment follows. I said let me tell you, to hear your opinion. I don't know who else to confide in about this. I'm a doctor. I can't be telling stories about ghosts online. No one will believe it. I'll sound insane.

Yesterday night that brought in today, I took call for a colleague who was having menstrual pain. She begged me to do the call for her. Then, a woman was brought in with what I suspected to be post surgical sepsis. The op site was soaked with effluent from the wound. The surgery was done at State Specialist Hospital three days prior to presenting to us. Her temperature read "Hi" on the thermometer, which means her body was so hot that the thermometer could not record it. I called my seniors who were in theatre then, told them what I have with me in the emergency, and I took instructions from them. I secured IV access. I gave 2g of IV cefriaxone (Rocephin brand) stat, and IV Flagyl 500mg stat. She was going. I called my seniors again and told them temperature is not coming down after one hour. I was told to give IV PCM 600mg stat. I then reopened the wound, washed with NS, and redressed with savlon and povidone iodine.

She was a Yoruba Christian. She was praying, holding my hands, saying that I should not let her die, that she still has little children at home. She then started behaving abnormally, talking irrationally and screaming, also convulsing intermittently.
At this point, I called a senior who came in, assessed her and told me privately that she won't make it. He told me to continue masterly activity which I did.

She finally died after few hours she was brought in. I certified her dead in her file, disconnected all life support, and went to my house to sleep around 3am when the call got less busy. I was weak and sad. Did you know, this woman followed me home. I was shocked when I felt there was someone looking at me from my window. My body was shaking. I've never believed in ghosts, but she came to my window and stood there, with same clothes she was wearing when she was brought in. She said why did I allow her to die. I was lost for words for a moment, thinking I was dreaming. But damn, it wasn't a dream. I just drank coke from the fridge few minutes ago. I rebuked her in Jesus' name, telling her I did my best. I told her to go back to where she came from. She stood there for a while, looking at me, then turned and walked away. I heard her footsteps as she walked away. I didn't sleep again till morning. I opened the fridge and took out coke and drank, to be sure I was not dreaming, then started praying in tongues to control the fear in my heart."

What can be a reasonable explanation for this?

Morning everyone.
Now I really really laugh at some silly chaps here trying to corner me and tell me I don't really know christ. Someone asking me how I got the holy spirit with the manifestation of speaking in tongues. Lol!
I made the first set of Baba Ogundare's Trainees. If only you know who Rev. Ogundare is. Or if only you know who Rev. Olusola Areogun is, you folks won't be spewing thrash here.
Before I even met them I was already well seeped in the gospel. I don't just read the bible, I have books I have written based on the revelation of the holy spirit to me as I read the bible.
At home I was regarded as a prophet. I prayed at least 6hrs none stop everyday. My mum felt I was called for a special assignment so she encouraged me after many attempts to stop me.
She used to be scared I would die of fasting. And yeah people die of fasting. Had a brother in CAC campus fellowship FUTA that died around 2010 from complications that were a result of fasting.

You christians here have no[b] idea the kind of life I lved for christ.

I lived so well for god that when I became an atheist, I became the type that if you visit me to preach to me, you will leave almost throwing your bible away.

Nairaland is not enough to tell it all. I am the kind of guy that if I had continued as a christian would have ended up a legend.

So dear christians hold your horses.

I heard a story like that, don't know if it's true o. It may be fiction.
A guy dated a girl for 2years, both of them were students then. He loved her so much, and even offended his mother and sister just to please her. Her dad died along the way leaving her stranded. The guy in question practically extorted his well to do parents to pay her fees and keep her in school. One thing led to another, and he discovered that the girl was cheating. He broke up with her, and she kept begging and sending people to beg him. Eventually she was forgiven. The same thing happened again, this time it was with a friend of the guy. She pleaded again, and the guy was stupid enough to forgive. Infact, he introduced her to his family. He eventually graduated and left town, but kept hearing rumours that she was dating one doctor infact they were engaged. all the while she was still collecting money from him for project seminar etc. She collected close to 70k. When he came back to town he confronted her about the cheating, and this time she did not beg anymore, she just said she wanted to break up, that she has found someone that wants to marry her next year, and since the guy still has law school and service in front of him, he should look for someone else. He knelt down to plead with her, even sent the same people she sent previously to beg her. He offered to marry her after law school, but she just refused. So the guy accepted his fate. One day he went to her house, after talking they ended up having sex. She didn't know that the guy had set his phone to capture everything, and even took some pictures when he was pretending to answer a call. He sent her the video and pictures on bbm the next day. And he didn't contact her again until he left for law school. The guy isn't interested in blackmailing, or making the video public, but then as she is getting married, let her leave with the guilt that someone somewhere has secrets that could destroy her. While he is managing a broken heart, she should manage a troubled heart. Scores are level, no hard feelings.

aisha2: Ignore her for 2 weeks, no calls no text, nothing, go blank.
When she has finished running around, tell her you want to talk only on one condition that she stays quiet and listens to what you have to say.
If your relationship survives this, hopefully you will get stronger, if you dont survive it then it is not meant to be.
Times like this we have to come close to loosing what we have to learn to adjust and value our relationships
