This is one addiction so many young people ate fighting. And time and again, there's been many thread on this topic already. Here's my little coin for you. Take an active step. 1. Write a plan and mark everyday that passes by without you masturbating or watching porn. It gives you a sense of challenge to beat. 2. Limit the level of security and privacy you set around yourself. E.g make your room more accessible. If your house has very good security, don't close your door when you're about to sleep at night. 3. Find someone who won't judge you, someone you trust very well and confide in them. Let the person monitor your progress in the challenge you give yourself in number 1. 4. Don't be too harsh on yourself every time you fall into it and don't try ti give up. Always be convinced that you'll overcome it. 5. Find activities you can do to move your life forward and engage in daily commitment to that activity. Masturbating reuqires passion and you can drive that passion to something else. Overall, if you're really convinced you want to stop it, I believe you will really stop it though it's not going to be easy. |
henryobinna:Is forum and website the same thing? I'm not well versed in web stuffs o. |
kiddoiLL:I'm not so much surprised Seun is not making huge money from Nairaland. I'm only surprised a Nigerian can do that. At least, the popularity of Wikipedia doesn't make his owner super wealthy. Some people just want to create relevance and I tell you, it's more appreciated than wealth. Seun Osewa is rightly relevant. |
I finally understand what you meant after moving the picture away few meters from eyes. IjebuWarrior: |
The one you're most interested in which also has relevance presently. It is never too late to start what you're convinced is the right thing. As long as you have genuine interest (not just monetary motivation), you're good to go even if you need to humble yourself to learn the skill. |
Thank you. |
Those commenting about Buhari, Jonathan causing this or that are joking right? What you see there is the failure of the Nigerian state, the failure of the North, the failure of Gombe state itself. The political leaders are individuals like us and we're already placing so much expectations on them like they're gods. |
flyca:Should the husband take advantage of her because of that, it means the husband is immature in the first degree. You see, if what we have nowadays is what you're calling education, I'm afraid you're mistaken. How many times has there being increase in the rise of broken marriages and children born out of wedlock since this your education is now being accepted widely. Now is not the time to see the full fledge of people raising children without two opposite genders around. In the next ten, fifteen years, you'll see that our people were not mad when roles of husbands and wives were defined in those days and every couple did what was expected of them. |
RichFoundation:Wow... I've been seeing this poster around Agbani area. |
Shortyy:Corp member spotted. |
bjims:That person might not understand your point but I get it. It takes someone who has seen hardworking people dying without any reward for their zeal to understand the place of luck. That's why it's difficult to emulate any American billionaire, it takes more than hardwork. However, there are some attitudes in people which draws things like 'luck' to their lives. |
You'd have still communicated your points without calling him a goat. Afterall, this is a public forum and we're meant to say what on our mind. Haba! pythonkid: |
Oluwaseyi00:Of course. Did you also notice that the more you read, the more you want to read? The love for reading takes a little while before it usually dies and then with effort, you can make it rise again. |
Yep... Reading it is. Nigerians are reading now than before sha but I think that a man is usually an aggregate of whatever he reads and most of us now read motivational books but motivational books can't make a man a guru in his field. Instead, they're supposed to make us more focused. The result, many of us are becoming like the motivational speakers whose books we read while the result of the motivation is not really there. If you're into law, education, medicine, engineering or whatever field you are into; the largest chunk of the books you should be addicted to should be from your field or whatever field you're venturing into. God does his job in heaven but we humans especially Nigerians need to deepen ourselves in knowledge also for then can our minds be opened to secrets. PS: It's better for a man to have a little knowledge about almost everything. |
SOFTDRINK:That's just it. In a society where it is difficult to talk about morality, virginity etc., money being at the center, misconstrued feminism on the rise and the men became less secure because they've lost what they felt made them men; all the men could do is to live irresponsibly while the women get drunk in what the society has given them. The entire family suffers and the nation becomes sick! |
Asshurbanipali:Because Mr Obama read their books in 2018? Let's stop this inferiority feeling for goodness sake. The black man has more than that no matter his origin and he's not defined by religion or ethnicity just that he decided to be blind. |
pansophist:I've read at leat four. Some have even read more than that but yet, dumb. |
In the same countries where many people have post-doctoral fellowships even though they're not solely in the academics, it is individuals with certificate controversies that must rule us. What a shame on Nigeria! |
Teens really need help as concerns this predators all over the social media. It's so easy for teens to be carried away in what they call "exploring". Please warn every teens in your house, the social media is like a street where the whole world meets. They should be careful with information sharing and friendship with strangers. |
Vulcanheph:Not in UI sir. It's still a surprise to my friends whenever I tell them how much I paid for each session. |
meobizy:That's the simplest definition of lust! |
jamaicabakare:Don't worry, since you're here alive and sound, 2019 has very great things in stock for you. Just be patient and hopeful. |
That's the only way she feels she's useful to Nigeria... |
Seduction doesn't happen all of a sudden. It always start with facial expression, touching etc especially when two opposite genders are alone. Any man that'll turn it down would have communicated with his body language earlier cos it's easy ti read between the lines. However, some ladies might want to 'Delilahlized' a 'brother Samson' violently and if brother Samson is a dummy or he secretly desires it, he'll go for it but if not, 'Bro Samson' will turn to 'Bro Joseph'. All the same, yes there are but they're rare. |
philip0906:She's omitting the fact that women had their shares of corruption rampant in the men. We need a good leader be it male or female. |
You know one lesson I'm learning from this government, they're focusing on their strengths. We thought anti-corruption fight was their logo but they have corrupt individuals so they focused on trains and more trains at least to sweep Nigerians away. But we deserve more than Buhari and Atiku... |
That's their way of preventing chaos. It doesn't also stop them from using the same method to their advantage. |
IntrovertedK:It's not the religion, it's the handlers. When men resort to opening pages of the Bible which aims at oppressing other men using words like "obedience" and members too find it difficult to study their Bible, pastors become their God since their minds will become blinded even when God himself is talking to them. Christianity has seriously been abused. |
It's now socially acceptable for people to commit fornication and still come to the public, with their pictures to share testimonies of the evil they did in private. |
Bloooody:God isn't real you say? Wait till the day you're chased to him. |
Op should have shown us the initial post from Ben Bruce at least for those of us who hates tweeting. |
SAMBARRY:Hmmm... This is really serious. |
