Turantula:That's what they think of you when you tell them what they don't want to hear... |
Oreofepeters:lol...leave nature alone jare. Nature did not ask a woman to be rubbing her half unclad bum against a complete man. Nature is like a program, it's just doing its job |
Seems I'm going to be the only one who won't hail Davido for disregarding the VP. It doesn't make sense to me. It only shows that the Adelekes are as desperate as other elites (including the Tinubus) when it comes to power and moreover, I don't think his uncle who was supposedly cheated will disregard the VP though they are in different parties. |
That's why they're the Premier University. |
NwaAmaikpe:You mean the body of her works or both @ the bolded |
magoo10:Thank God o... Even though his lifeliness didn't amount to much for his people. ![]() |
CheeZena:I'm not making any opinion based on your assertion and while it's true women do things mostly to please other women, it doesn't change the fact that most responsible men are more attracted to decently clothed women. |
This is the most crucial time parents especially Christians need to rise up and train their children. Many of us Christians always take things especially training of children for granted when we refuse to have adequate time with them, live exemplary life that wouldn't create confusion in their hearts and discuss every issues of life with them right from their young age. What it will take a thousand well trained godly children to achieve, it might take one ungodly child to achieve the same because it is easy to pull down than to build but when we misconcieve the importance of the Holy Spirit to only singing worship songs and tongues, we find it difficult to guide our children well though we are claim to be full of the Holy Spirit. Please beware how you send your children to the world. The most important way of training your children is to start training them in the way you envision them to be. You're the number one teacher and there's nothing you can tell them that'll be more potent than what they see you do with their mum or dad, visitors, friends and foes, strangers etc. Whatever they see you do is what they'll do but if you do one thing and you expect another thing from them, you'll frustrate them and send them to get trained by the world who'll welcome them. |
Richdad50:Most people would still say "nay". They don't know that as it was in the beginning of time, so it is in this present time. Decently covered lady always press triggers of emotions in the hearts of responsible men. |
You have a very good writeup here and I must confess, what you've touched is the core points sending many people away from most of the holiness preaching churches around. God will never condemn us or send us away from him but I was expecting a balance because the Bible also said "shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?" (Romans 6:1). It's all simple, the solution is found in the scripture where the writer of the Hebrews says "looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith" (Hebrews 12:2). Our business is with Christ and not with any pastor or individual. Peter didn't realise this and he was sinking when he joined Jesus to walk on water until he shouted "Lord, help me". Meanwhile, going to church is for self edification. If it's not for us to grow, it's for others to grow through us. However, our salvation and holiness is more important than our church attendance. Therefore if your church is causing you to sin, you need to find another better assembly. It is better to be a Christian without allegiance to any church than to be a church member who wallows in sin. |

Once. To me WAEC is more treacherous than UTME. That one is like a gamble. |

BiafranBushBoy:It's what the world is becoming daily and it seems as if we love it since everyone wants "freedom" without any constraint. |
xoxo001:Don't worry. The water you'll drink during the weekend will digest them all before Monday. |
Blackfire:The adage there is only meant for someone who's a renowned warrior (akíkanjú). Don't quote a needless adage here. The man has never been in any war. You can rather use the adage for Ojukwu and not Nnamdi Kanu. |
Thia is a major blow to the entire agitation for Biafra. |
If the schools are using the ICT facilities well, it'd have even been more better. See those pictures, I can tell you authorititavely that they were taking for publicity. There's one in the school I am presently where the ICT lab has always been locked up. The teachers don't have any interest to use them neither are the srudents interested. AtomElect: |

While you've made an accurate submission, many would still disagree with you. The truth is, this generation's way of life is very toxic for the younger ones. We don't want to be responsible for upholding any form of morality but we want a society that's free from trouble and easy to live. Talk morality, people will refer to "freedom". They don't know that freedom without responsibility is bondage in itself. Prayer alone is not enough, we need to condemn social evils as we see them. In this case, both the 17 years old and the 7 years old are victims of a failing society. CooperJay: |
I almost missed this brilliant piece. I've been arguing this out on a Whatsapp page with some intellectuals. I agree 100% with your piece. There is so much emphasis especially without any form of filtration, on the girl-child in Nigeria presently. There is increase in free educational opportunities for graduate and post graduate education for females generally than the males. Even in the North, international organizations are always putting up different programs on "educate the girl-child". Meanwhile, the boy child has been neglected. The higher percentage of boko-haram members is the boy child, almajiris, agberos and many more; these are neglected males who grow up to become greater nuisance to our dear country. They say that "when you educate a woman, you educate a nation" but yet, they've not taken it into consideration that the statement is truer for the males than the female. Boys are dropping out of schools faster in our environment now but there's nobody to recognize them. Nigeria as a country need to focus on ita own peculiar challenges and forget international problems, it's making us less focused on what's of most concern to us. |
Have you seen an angel before? |
So all these pro-biafran groups are not actually pro-biafra. All they wanted throughout is to be in the elm of affairs of the country. Even though they've failed to hold their respective state governments to ransom. |
InansBobo:That's just the general media outlook like many governors have especially when opposition has little power in their states. |
InansBobo:Yeah... It's very true. From 10k to 1k when the present government came in and after the bank's commission, you have #947 |
EastGold:I don't believe that. The world will be worse off if people really mind their owm businesses. |
GoTV:If you're really born again like you said, you'd know that the best thing to do in this situation is to KEEP QUIET. You don't know everything the people you're criticizing know. While I will never support deceit where I see one, God will never judge people based on what you think about them. |
SarkinYarki:I beg to disagree sir. The fact that they're creative thinkers does not mean they can't finish with a first class from a Nigerian university. At least we studied in Nigerian universities and we saw for ourselves what's happening there. The fact that the present university system is mostly favorable to the "la cram, la pour, la forget" crew does not mean those who think with originality don't make distinctions. Pay a visit to some engineering or computer science faculties in some Federal university and make empirical claim before you hold a position that an original or sound intuitive thinkers can't finish with first class in Nigeria . Some of us battled our lecturers because they wanted us to swallow whatever they give us in whole without taking time to filter and remove the unwanted part of it. Yet, intuitive and original thinkers know how to pass exams well in such schools and finish with the highest grade ever. While many first class students are only first class on paper, there are many sound and intelligent ones who really have the stuff in their heads, graduates of our universities here. |
I saw a post somewhere on Telegram and I saw why it might be difficult for these people to create a new generation of Nigerian leaders who are experienced, highly educated and widely traveled. The person talked about individuals like Fela Durotoye and co starting their political careers in the house of representatives for example and embarking on bills that'll make them known positively for the average citizens on the street. Instead of this happening, all of them want to become president once without considering the fact that Buhari and co have been tried several times before they eventually became leaders. Even though our current leaders are bad, yet we need to learn the art of winning powers from them. |

Even though I'm a born again Christian, I'm so ashamed of this bastard called Oyedepo for frolicking with same Fulanis he was hypocritically condemning on his fraudulent alter. May thunder strike Oyedepo and his fraudulent colleagues claiming to be men of God. Useless idiots. You will never find Muric or Miyetti Allah leaders moving around with politicians yet they fight for Muslims. Fools like Oyedepo is the reason why we sane Christians are ashamed to associate with Christianity
