Ara adugbo oya coman read this one o. Una wey dey insist say this person get sense, dey brilliant kini kan. Obasanjo wey no make noise wey we no hype sef, na prof compared to this dumb wicked man. 🤷 Reno Omokirikiri the madman, and the other legion of APC zombies say that light is at the end of the tunnel. Awon ashiere! Look at the debt Buhari racked up in 8 years, and look at what the profligate nuisance in power has racked up in just one year. Now look at what Obasanjo did and left behind after 8 years. Obasanjo left a debt of $2b (foreign) and 2trn naira (domestic), yet the much touted brilliant accountant who in reality is just an evil corrupt being, inherited a domestic debt of N19.24 trillion and external debt of $33.62 billion from another useless incompetent maalu, and by the end of the first quarter of 2024, Nigeria has domestic debt of N65.65 trillion and external debt of $42.12 billion. 2b went to 42b, and 2trn went to 65trn! And we are still wondering who destroyed the country. Ani ko le rogbo fun gbogbo awon to'n defend and entrench this desolation of our land. It is one thing to be ignorant, it is another to be willfully evil. Misfortune will not depart from all willfully evil people, like the toads at dem manna croak, no be curse na fact! May APC and all who support their destruction of this country not end well in life. Quote me if the shoe fits, and let your life be ruined irreparably from this second forthwith. Look at the debt this profligate bitch has racked up in one year, despite supposedly saving money from not paying subsidies. One year!!!! Cc diamond68 |
efighter:lies as usual. Buhari did same, removed subsidy (2015) and devalued the naira (2016), but even the morose unproductive cattle herder knew not to do both simultaneously, and even the one he did non-simultaneously, he backtracked on both policies when shit started to hit the fan. You are either just plain lying or just plain ignorant, both hallmarks of your kind. |
IbeOkehie:why edit 15m into my post, esp when what I posted was way more? Shey e pain you say the money dey way way more than 15m? This man sef? Na you vote booooooohari na, not me. Yoruba's have a saying, which when translated means that a child should act as a child, and an adult should act like an adult. Why your own con cross laidis? Lol . |
No surprises here. That is what I hate about Dems Their morbid hypocrisy. EVERY ELECTION CYCLE IT'S THE SAME WITH THEM..THEY MAKE IT ABOUT RACE. They always play the damn race card, but they do nothing for the black community once in. To make matters worse, they call Trump racist. You make everything about race, not cos you care, but cos you want to win elections, and in same breath accuse your opponent of racism, with no evidence for that matter. Imagine if Trump were to have granted an interview blasting all white people who are supporting Kamala. OBAMA is doing just that and there's no fuss. Biden said same in 2020, 'if you don't vote for me, you ain't black enough'...empty one-trick ponies and weaklings making everything about race, and now even gender. Ment! |
Foolish and dumb idiots. If you wan make prediction, at least employ commonsense. If you wan say fuel stil fit go up, just say so and walk away. Which one is saying tension in the middle East will make the crude oil found here in the ground in Nigeria expensive? If the Nigerian state decides to charge Nigerians more for our own crude oil, how is that due to tensions in the middle East? Na middle East go tell wicked Nigerian govt how much dem go sell the country's crude to its citizens and the now 1 local refinery we have?? Just jumbling everything up in their tomfoolery. Ment! |
Azazyel:you know it's his agenda/template how? Is that a positive even? That someone from the class of 1999 is still the one and the only one for that matter holding a state to ransom. Only him out of 36 governors. Enjoy the emperor then. I hope you sha don't come and tell me Fashola or ambode or sanwoolu were the builders of Lagos in future when they also want to possibly contest for something. You all have already used that ticket for the emperor ooo. Why vote for 'mere tools' in future when we have the balablu brains gangan now? |
Gerrard59:about the loans... I didnt go that route cos the problem was not so much the lack of liquidity, as it was the fact that for the first time in a long time I was fearful for the future and needed to get a safety net ASAP. I needed something sure as a back up, as also as a means of increasing my capital base to grow the existing business or divest into something else. What I sell are basically consumer discretionary goods, and with the dreadful squeeze in disposable income, I have been badly affected... sales has been topsy-turvy for the most part this year. Hence, my decision to get back on the saddle before shit hits the fan😁. |
Azazyel:Tinubu did nothing in terms of infrastructure in the 8 years when HE was governor. Fashola particularly, and the ones after him built infrastructure. You can provide proof if e sure for you. I hate reading that lie. I suspect the next thing you'd do is credit him for the successes of Fashola, Ambode and Sanwoolu.. |
IbeOkehie:my padi Gerrard59, remember how I shared my view on how this accursed govt shouldnt have devalued the naira, no matter what..and then you mentioned how this quoted grandpa has written on some economics hogwash about why the devaluation was necessary, but thankfully I was able to show you why it made absolutely no sense to devalue the currency, esp when the definitive solution as we know it, will still take decades, on the miraculous assumption that a sensible human being gets power (which I have given up on).... But the other reason I didn't want to even pass any comment about the logic of the poster, was cos of the sordid and tacky reputation of said poster. If anything, I assure you the poster is overjoyed with the sick policies and how the naira has been turned into tissue paper, as it helps him feel good about strengthening his argument on Nairaland that a homeless person abroad is better than any and every Nigerian. Look at how the 62/63 year old wastes no time to gloat about how he is in heaven and everyone here is in hell.. I can't seem to decipher his mind space, really. This is not behaviour that I know his peers engage in over here, defaulting to diiickk measuring contests online at every turn.🤷 Oh well, after this accursed person in Aso rock successfully continued where Buhari stopped and kuma burned the naira patapata, my businesses don see shege (another goal for you Ibe). Na so I dust my satificates o, got back into corporate, landed a good role paying **** (another goal for Ibe, afterall that is just a measly *** USD right)...and now back to the drawing board thinking of the next chess moves I would need to play, while being thankful for the new capital boost to keep my businesses afloat in these cray times. I still dey Ibe, still have that my small house and I never still pack up and run go. Hope that was deeply satisfying for you to read💯 But I still gotta ask, why you so addicted to dick measuring contests online, esp for a seemingly educated man of your age. It is very very very odd. Who you don epp emigrate since our last exchanges? Whose settlement have you made easier? I'm 💯 sure nobody. I don't know your endgame o with these your puerile and trite rants, na only you know. Ppl dey go thru a lot, tryin to deal with their shit in a very horrible condition, yet this almost 70 grandpa is here yapping nonsense unbefitting for a 15 yo. Read the room once in a blue moon na!🤣🤣🤣 Ndo! |
Sangoamadioha1:thanks you for exposing alternateid and his childish tomfoolery. He must think others are as shit-drunk as he is.🤣🤣 |
If Nigerians had sense, they would rise in one voice and reject this even before it becomes a thing. They are safety officers, not security officers. The rejection should be loud and deafening both online and offline. But no, na Ebuka and BBNaija be their own priority |
Gerrard59:well, they have furckkkkkeed everything and everyone (except themselves) over... Let's sit back, relax and watch/observe and determine the elastic limit of sufferhead Nigerians. Na suffer dem come this life to suffer. Kilo kan mi🤷 |
dapsoneh:eggzactly. Tiwa is already far gone. Na the pikin wey she don born I pity. Boy was born into very very deep dysfunctionality. |
Gerrard59:bro, we have to defend the naira because we simply do not have the capacity to do the alternative, at least not in the immediate, which is to be a net exporter of finished goods and not just raw materials. Becoming an industrialized nation clearly cannot happen overnight. We are not even on the path to it. So, no point deceiving ourselves with textbook policies that simply don't apply in our case at this time. All they needed to do was hold the fort till at least this Dangote refinery came on stream. That was all they needed to do. 40% of our Forex goes to petrol imports...Dangote comes online, that 40% Forex is saved, increase in supply of USD available to go round. If they had done that fuel wouldn't be more than 500 now and it would have been kept consistent since may 2023, all these supply challenges wouldn't have happened...the subsidy removal would have been absolute, monies actually saved, not this one that they have still being actively doing 'shortfall' cos the naira became that worthless. Our circumstances were/are not textbook circumstances that needed textbook prescriptions. They should have employed commonsense. |
LegendHero:lies, lies, and lies The problem wasn't the subsidy removal. Subsidy removal wasnt what caused the out of control hyper-inflation ravaging the country. Devaluing the naira was the problem, and the cause of all the shit that has gotten out of control. The naira is now tissue paper thanks to balablu. If the naira was kept stable at least till Dangote comes on stream, fuel would be around 500 today not 500x3. https://www.nairaland.com/8017949/how-nigeria-people-govt-got |
Gerrard59:in reality? Not exactly. I already addressed this point you touched on, in my earlier thread below. https://www.nairaland.com/8017949/how-nigeria-people-govt-got Thanks to the accursed govt's decision to turn the naira to tissue paper, the days of having unfettered access to pms without queues are gone for the foreseeable future. It simply ain't gonna happen anytime soon. So increasing fuel price like you opined in your post, isn't going to guarantee availablity, rather it will do the opposite. Only the big players, majorly NNPC and Bovas will be able to continue fuel retail business due to the cost of the product, and even they will not be able to do so consistently everyday as used to be the case before this demon came in. A full tanker of pms will now cost above 50m naira, so ten stations would be half a billion, get the picture? Most NNPC stations are franchises, so not all NNPC stations have the capacity to buy and sell, as we can see today. So with very few players, you can expect the queues not to disappear anytime soon, cos Nigerians are passionate sufferers, they will still buy the fuel, at whatever cost, but it won't be readily available cos the cost of the product will ensure that it is not constantly available at many locations. Our new reality is the fuel will be expensive, and only few will be dispensing the product, so you will still queue to buy the product, however expensive. |
O'n pe! Nigeria and Nigerians lo mo nkan ti won ko ara won si. Even me wey decide not to japa, but rather forge ahead in my entrepreneurship journey, Bulaba don show me and other businesses shege. Nobody tell me before I quickly dust my satificates and made the decision to get back into corporate, before yam pepper scatter patapata. Businesses need capital, and bulaba has seriously impacted sales and eroded the value of available working capital. Thankfully with this job, ten bulaba no fit affect me again, and my businesses will now thankfully stay afloat. Make Nigeria and Nigerians secure their salvation with fear and trembling. Una never chee chomchin😁✌️ |
Bebigiby1: helinues:Why look down on yourself though? I had already identified the idiocy and incompetence of Cardunce-o as things were unfolding early on. https://www.nairaland.com/8017949/how-nigeria-people-govt-got The current CBN governor is a RUNT, and is as morose as they come. Why would some inferior stock ask you to rise up to a challenge, and you chicken out? A smart pupil wey don finish SSCE with at least B3 in economics would likely know more than Cardunce-o. Knowledge is for application and emancipation ke, not just for show. I would confidently steer the ship of this country to greatness, and not just the CBN, as I have a functioning brain, and boat loads of integrity. The person in Aso rock has not even successfully ran a business before, Cardunce-o headed a tier-3 bank not for his intellect, but cos he was a boy-boy to the crook in Aso rock. How anyone expects miracles from corrupt, incompetent people is beyond me. |
When I read that the decrepit emperor wanted to go on leave for two weeks in London, and then recalled that Buhari sef is currently in London, and Gowon as well, it just further made it clear to me that the black man is made from very very inferior stock.....but then I remembered also, that I am black. Such a shame really. Ati upper class o, ati elite class o, their lives don't have meaning if they are not actively in or tethered to the oyinbo man. Ki lo Tu Ku? What more proof is needed? Nigerian presidents cannot seem to find any part of Nigeria vacation-able, as compared to leaders of other white countries who find their own countries very vacation-able 🤐 |
jumpandpas:na Hon Patrick wey decide to diminish himself by engaging with this height deficient, intellectually deficient, and talentless boy na im I blame....oh and I blame his supporters as well, they clearly dont have good taste. One shitty verse+chorus singer feeling fly. Shior |
PlanetZero:you didnt read and digest her post, clearly. You are both saying the same thing. The threat to burn the state down was not made by Fubara, and she is asking/wondering where the IGP heard that one from |
Kewtt:hope you saw how that singular post showed succinctly just how shallow your thinking is. Lol. Busybody🤣 |
malali: |
malali:lol All I see is one black, ugly ass mothafvcka sitting with a slightly better looking but raving mad mothafvcka |
Just for clarity, my previous reaction was to the sound bite posted in this thread below. https://www.nairaland.com/8228922/kemi-badenoch-mocks-migrant-workers I have now watched the full video, and I now fully understand the context of the interview and that specific conversation. What can I say? I wouldn't have said that out loud. Like Suella, like Kemi, I understand that they have a job to do and it is one that is fact-based, not one based on emotions, but even if it's just based on the consistent historical reactions to such statements, it would have been wise to have not voiced those sentiments out in that manner. Push your point about controlling immigration as it is the only way to ensure the viability and sustainability of proper running of the country, and ditch all these unnecessary innuendos. Previous comment modified, in light of new information. I rest my case |
Zahra29:I jus tire. Ppl are so annoyingly fickle and touchy these days. Apparently a lot of Nigerians have joined this bandwagon of just being needlessly reactive to the most banal things..what a pathetic waste of emotions! Una wan censor/control free speech in this una fairytale utopian world abi..that is the way to a better world abi? Gagging free speech..who are the dictators now? cos what the f? I watched the video, she said nothing different from what has been argued here many many times. She basically said it is not enough to be comfy wiping bottoms, and people should strive for more. How that turn to epithet wey she should be cancelled for I no jus understand. Look at how they twisted the headline of that video, completely different from what she actually said/meant. Jeez Quite disappointing.... Modified: I have now gotten additional information that provided more context. I rest my case. |
missjekyll:have you watched the VP debate? Vance is so darn brilliant, knowledgeable and articulate... 40 years old and that loaded. That guy will be president some day. Heck, I'd vote him for president today sef. |
Like the vulture griller moans... from all of them @manna May calamity befall all those that made our naira toilet paper before our eyes...that rubbished all our hard work and investments in our land. A nobody abroad, will be feeling funky by sending peanuts here, but the peanuts go turn gold here. They made all the citizens of this country look lazy compared to their counterparts in stable countries. May calamity take hold of them and overrun them, they and their online supporters |
The engine pic is clearly that of a grey car, while the car you put up is black. This is not the foreign Corolla but rather the Elizade 'bought brand new' corolla. Also the vehicle licence sticker is visibly right there on the windscreen. So, on one hand it's not toks OBVIOUSLY, and for some reason you decided not to upload the real engine pics. Why? I assume you're new to this. |
lereinter:it was obviously sarcasm. Bellview and sosoliso have not been operational in almost two decades |
dre11: Treadway:that was my post on Sep 16. It is alarming how inacapable of critical thinking most Nigerians are. Should this come across as a a surprise to any person capable of critical thinking? NO |
ObosiLandlord:so Nigeria is no longer pursuing a cashless policy according to you? Do you know till now, there are huge charges applicable to certain volume of cash transactions both for individual accounts and corporate accounts, and all that is in a bid to discourage the use of physical cash? Are you forgetful, being mischievous, or just ignorant? Why were they making noise about emefoole printing ways and means then, and the excess cash in circulation? Or was that all a figment of our imagination? |
