Ryder knew what they were playing at unknown to them his first set of cards were shared to him, he was given very useless cards when compared to the cards that were being revealed on the table he had made no pair, then the bartender came to give him a drink Ryder looked at her "I didn't other for no drinks" he said with a calm accusatory voice, " no the drinks on us ,you know just to settle you in if you don't mind" one of the thugs said with a very deep cracking voice. Ryder smiled " I don't mind ", the bartender then drops the glass on the table and proceeds to his back as if she was going to attend to other customers behind him. Ryder already knew what they were playing at and played along he let the bartender see his cards very well while acting as if he was in serious analysis of what to do next, meanwhile Ryder kept a calm and confident face then told them why don't we go all in, there was a general silence in the table mixed with fear and tension of Ryder they didn't know what to expect from him as he looked very calm and unpredictable, even if Ryder were to win them at a all in he would just recover like 10000coins of the kids money since the kid was down to 2000 and them being four, the bartender gave the thugs the signal that Ryder had awful cards , one of the thugs laughed immediately then stopped in an attempt not to draw attention to himself. He was amused that Ryder came there to bluff ,he wondered what Ryder's plan was whether it was to bluff till he could accumulate alot of board money. He thought to himself that this was easier than he anticipated , they all agreed to go all in with Ryder .
the first thug had no pair at all but he wasn't moved, the second thug made a pair of kings which is the second highest normal pair one could make , the third thug made a trip 8(that is a triple pair of 8 ) triple pairs are higher than normal pairs , the fourth thug dropped a normal pair of 2 which was rather insignificant but he smiled while dropping it anticipating the nonsense Ryder was also going to drop, Thuck at this point only faith was in the fact that Ryder seemed unfazed by everything everyone had dropped, while he was thinking Ryder revealed a ace in his hand and when he dropped it on the table he had made a trip As (this is the best one can make in the triple pair series) all the thugs were marvelled and a bit taken aback , they were certain of the signal the bartender had given them so how come this how does a ace get the signal of insignificant, While they were silent Ryder was pulling the coins on the table towards his side Thuck's face lit up with joy filled with hope, The next round Ryder played the same trick ,the two customers at his back were trying their best to see Ryder's card shifting their chairs closer ,standing up for no reason ,and some other vices Ryder was hiding his cards this time around because he had been shared some nice cards and he didn't want them to see nice cards that would go against the plan had in place , Ryder while he was drinking before he decided to help the kid had studied the thugs methods of operation they would wait for confirmation from their sources that the kid had useless cards and then become hasty with their decisions,like them asking to go all in or them putting some really high amount of stake on the table which they always won ,and in the case they were told he had a strong hand they would fold, these thugs came into the gamble with a little over 200coins each now they were filthy rich this is one of those business dreams you have but rarely think is possible, A rich young naive foreigner comes to gamble against them and brings in a whole fortune, well it was a dream they were watching come true or so they thought.
Ryder would leave his two cards on the table(the ones which were shared to him) and then put his hands on his lap roll out some cards from his sleeves and select till he got what he wanted then put the one he didn't want into his left sleeve while the chosen ones into his right ,then he would use his left hand to cover his cards on the table hold them up like he was looking at them then while no one was paying attention he would send them into his sleeve and roll out the one from his right sleeve into his right hand and hold it up in the same position. He did this so quick and well that even if you were monitoring him you might not still notice that he had switched cards plus whenever he was upto switching cards he always kept a straight face at his opponents.
Ryder now held up the useless cards he had switched to enabling the fake customers at his back view them after a long time of them suffering themselves, they saw how useless they were and signalled the thugs, just like obedient children the thugs called for a all in Ryder agreed with a smirky smile.
The first thug made a pair 10 in his hand, Thuck was looking at the pair the first thug had made when he realized something had dropped on his lap he looked down and saw a lot of cards almost a full deck of cards ,it was obviously Ryder that must have thrown it on him he looked at Ryder with the look of so you are a cheater , Ryder kept a straight face at his opponents and didn't even turn to the side of Thuck , The thing is Thuck hated cheats and hated cheating he has always believed in a fair game, But right now he was torn between his beliefs and his wealth ,he decided to stay mute but felt guilty that the other men were being cheated although he wondered why Ryder had decided to throw him the cards now , what was he trying to communicate?. meanwhile
the second thug made a trip 9s (which is the sixth highest pair in the trip series ) and smiled with confidence the third and fourth thugs both threw in their cards they had made nothing the forth thug made an effort to act like he was disappointed while throwing in his cards.
Then Ryder revealed his hand he had a 10 and 7 and he has made a straight joker when compared with the cards table(straights are higher than both pairs and trips, they are formed by making a sequence of five cards from your hand and the table e.g you have 6,3 in your hand and there is 2,4,5 on the table you have made a straight six of 2,3,4,5,6 Ryder's cards where *7,8,9,*10,j(11)) but there was a problem Ryder had a 10 spade and also did the first thug. Then the first thug exclaimed "I knew it you cheated you bastard!" , Ryder replied "I was going to say you did" the first thug became furious and stood up going to beat up Ryder when one of the thugs said the only way to settle this is to search you Mr Ryder, Ryder immediately stood up and walked towards the first thug who was also standing and said go ahead, Ryder did this so as not to get the thug to move closer as Thuck was having a difficult time hiding the cards that were thrown to him plus Ryder didn't want the child to get involved, Ryder was caught of guard when he saw that the other thug had the same card with him and at that point he didn't have time to change it ,the only thought that came to his head was to use it to his advantage. Ryder raised his hands up and the thug ransacked Ryder's body like he knew for certain something was there meanwhile Ryder picked a card from inside his sleeve and tucked it into the back of the thugs shirt , the thug took Ryder's hands after a while and rolled his sleeve down still finding nothing he turned and decided to go towards Ryder sit when Ryder told him its my turn to search you don't you think. The thug laughed looked around at his companions thinking that they would have his back then he realized they were still trying to act neutral "okay go ahead enjoy yourself" he said while lifting his hands sideways, Ryder checked the two sides of his fat belly first as if he didn't know where he kept it ,the he checked the man's trousers he felt a pistol like object he looked up at the thug who looked back at him and smiled "found what you looking for " he said , "no I haven't you may go" Ryder replied, then as the man turned Ryder exclaimed "what a Thief so that's where you kept it " while reaching for the card at the back of the man shirt . The thug became furious and shouted that he had been framed then put his hands towards his trousers as if to draw his weapon, Ryder looked at the other gamblers and said aren't you going to do anything he has been cheating against us since , one of the other thugs stood up and whispered softly into the thugs ear that he should just forfeit no need to get violent at the end of the day it doesn't matter who wins the money it's still going to be shared equally among everyone who had been of help. with that being said the thug let go of his gun which he was already pulling out and left the bar in a haste , his coins were shared evenly amongst everyone as that was the rule in a case anyone was caught cheating. cheating was considered a big crime in Gorgon valley and if found guilty one was liable to atleast a year in prison.
now Ryder had reduced the number of thugs he had to gamble with and had also increased Thuck's coins upto a 54500 since he was also winner of that all in round,one of the thugs said this is taking forever why don't we just go all in before seeing our cards ,the thugs idea behind this was in a case Ryder was cheating he won't be able to as the cards will be revealed immediately and the odds would be in their favour since whoever of them wins is the same as all of them winning and they were three against one. Ryder knew this and agreed He even laughed "Finally! some pure gambling fun just as pure gambling should be" he said while smelling the drink given to him then sipping it all,the cards were shuffled and shared with everyone heart beating fast it was so tensed .
Ryder revealed his cards first this time he had a Trip As ,and just as he did everywhere got silent and one by one they all threw in their cards in admittance of defeat Ryder packed all the coins into the box on the table and stood up saying "Thuck time to jolt", "not so fast" one of the thugs said reaching for his trousers and so did the other two Ryder looked around the bartender had dropped her tray and bent under the shelf and brought out a big hunter gun from the shelf also the other barman was nowhere in sight and the two customers at their back where also reaching for their trousers, Ryder knew there was no way they were going to walk out of there with that box ,he left the box on the table and slowly also reached for the two sides of his trousers with his two hands also. The air was tensed and for the first time so was Ryder cause in truth unlike the other men who was reaching for their trousers he had no weapons with him, he was thanking his luck that the other guy who searched him wasn't around to quickly call his bluff but nevertheless he was greatly out numbered how is he and the kid going to survive an impending gun battle with no guns?.

Episode 1
Sometime in the 1800 it's the cowboy era the land is relatively peaceful, it's even more peaceful if you are a gambler. You see in this era gamblers run everything for instance if you can't pay bills or tax you can gamble to avoid them , you gamble for rights over land, you gamble to marry a beautiful girl multiple men are after ,you gamble to challenge a decision well you get the idea it's a gambling era and it's not any different in Gorgon valley and right now a 17year old rich kid is about to face the harsh realities of the gambling consequences in Gorgon valley as he is playing a game of cards against some random thugs in a bar.
Believe it or not he has lost 83,500 gold coins to these four different thugs and right now he is left with just 2000 , this is his first real contest outside his father's mansion where he would normally gamble with his servants and occasionally his brothers, he was a gambling genius back at home and he never cheated in fact he doesn't believe in cheating and luck , he believed winning always depended on mental strength and that's it, he would normally fantasize about leaving his father mansion and accumulating wealth through gambling then start his own mega ranch like his father and boom be made , he was the third son of his father and the second child of his mother who was the second wife to the rich ranch owner whose first wife had died some so many years ago. He knew he's only shot at his father's inheritance was to win the gambling match at the property sharing day in a case his father was to die .
Thuck got accomplished gamblers to come teach him at his father's ranch he spent day and night practicing as if he knew his father would die and in the summer that year his father indeed died . He had six siblings in total one being his sister Tanaka who was two year older than him and the other children from the other marriage ,the most notable of them was strogan who was the eldest in the household being 35years old, strogan has also been anticipating his father's death he considered his father's inheritance and his sole birthright and had also been training hard for it.
The day came for the father's will to be shared lawyers were present and they would serve as judges for the game of Texas hold em poker ,funny enough the game to be gambled is usually chosen by the first child , strogan picked Texas hold em poker cause he knew most of his siblings were more familiar with the regular game of cards ,and he had secretly been training for that game what was funny Thuck (our rich kid) had also been.
Thuck won the game effortlessly outsmarting each of his siblings some not even knowing much about the game, he was handed his father properties and he benevolently shared it amongst his siblings, but of course he took twice the share of the closest person which was his sister and while nobody took up to half of what he gave his sister . He compensated everyone with cattles and landed properties but that wasn't enough as the house was so tensed , he mother advised Thuck to leave for a while her fears were the death of her husband was still very shady and now Thuck was in the eyes of everyone . Thuck left in the very early morning with a horse carriage in it a box load of money with all his wealth in it , it looked like a pirate's chest when opened, he ended up in Gorgon valley the town were every gamblers dream come through or where they die, he lodged in a inn for two days and on the third day he ventured to get a taste of Gorgons valley gambling action and ended up in bar victorious yes it took him just 3 days to almost squander all of his inheritance.
Thuck is confused he is doing everything right but keeps losing he won the first two games and that was it he had been losing eversince the worst part was after his third loss he was sweet talked into bringing in his box load of money in the quest to win back what he lost before ,but now he is losing it all. For a while he gazed round the bar with so much thoughts in his mind of how did it all come to this and whether to leave, 2000 gold coins was still a very decent amount of money worst be he would have to get a job he was still gazing when he's gaze fixed on a very shabby looking man sipping a glass of beer in his left of the bar , The man was tucking something into his sleeve Thuck was trying to figure out what it was, the man wore a old brown hat which covered most of his face whenever he bent his head like he was doing now he had full beards on both sides of his face down to his chin they were very unkept , plenty and bushy he wore a pale red molfer which covered the beginning part of his cowboys clothing, just as he was looking at him the man sipped his last alcohol pushed his chair back and stood up, Thuck looked at him fascinated the man returned with a smirky smile which made his rough face look a bit handsome ,"All in or fold" one of the thugs with a deep cracked voice interrupting Thuck's gazing ,it man Thuck realize he had been staring at that man for a long while and also reminded him of his dilemma, he looked at his cards for a while he had already made a pair ten he was going say call when another voice from behind said he would fold. There was a general "uhn" echoed in the table they all stared at the shabby looking individual as he placed his hands on Thuck's shoulder, Thuck turned over to look at the man's face it was the shabby looking man he was gazing at some moments ago , "do you know its a crime to interfere Ina gambling match without being invited you thief", " I guess it takes one to know one " the man replied with a calm subtle voice ,he spoke too well for the way he looked Thuck thought, "My name is Ryder please permit to gamble on your behalf" the man said , " err my name is Thuck and no thanks am fi.."
"No you arent fine please let me help you, I can't without your permission"
Thuck looked at Ryder again he looked calm and confident and also young, he looked more like someone in his mid 20s with some overgrown beard plus his voice wasn't as deep as the men he was playing against.
"Okay please do " Thuck said reluctantly
Ryder entered and sat on Thuck's sit while Thuck stood and sat on a chair close by near them , there were big boxes on the ground which most of Thuck's money was in , his fortune was disappearing right in the front of his eyes , while he sat he felt some kind of peace not peace that he trusted Ryder but peace that the burden to recover his wealth had left his shoulders.
Ryder on the other hand knew things that Thuck didn't like for instance he knew everyone at the bar were working against Thuck , from the barman to the bartender to the other customers at the back , they were all secretly viewing Thuck's cards and passing the information to the thugs through codes and yes all the thugs were working together, this probably isn't the first time they've been doing this ,but Ryder was ready to destroy them with some tricks up his sleeve.
