okooyinbo: Some Nigerians should be deprived the means of coming online. If you dont understand what the OP is trying to portray, why dont you ask? Or did he/she tell you he/she is an English man/woman? Very pathetic! Are you saying that it is ok to abuse the English language just because you are not an English man? Please what is Nigeria’s official language of communication? |
Ishsoph: I was visibly nauseated at the prevalent attitude of the workers in Owerri airport yesterday when i arrive for my return trip to Abuja after attending a wedding at Aba over the weekend. Please re-read what you typed and stop embarrassing yourself. It’s okay to have a few typos.. But the grammatical summersaults here leave a lot to be desired! |
thegoodjoehunt:What benefit would SEUN get from the traffic that is driven to that link you posted? SEUN has already gotten more than enough traffic since the news broke on friday!! there are already too many threads (some are out right lies) on the front page about this incident. |
thegoodjoehunt:This is a clear example of what I dislike! You are among those who are filling cyberspace with all sort of unverifiable crap just to drive traffic to your site! |
I have silently watched in disgust while people have taken to social forums to spew crap! When the news broke, these boys were called robbers, latter the story changed to cultist, now some now say they are even innocent. I would not Join any camp to pronounce them guilty or innocent. But I know that this would NEVER have happened when I was a student on campus! No student would have stood by to watch their fellow student beaten this much!! If they were guilty, infact Even if they were caught red-handed, we would never have allowed the local community do this to one of us! The Spirit of Aluta was still alive! Injury to one was Injury to all. We would rather take the students into campus and deal with them in our own way. How many parents would allow their child to be punished by someone else? Shame on all the students who stood and watched this happened Now even if they were cultist as some claim, then I say shame on the cult they belonged to. Four days after the murder of 4 of their own, they have done NOTHING!! When I was in campus, their fellow cultist would have either attempted to rescue them, or avenged their blood by now! If they were Innocent, I say again Shame on all Uniport Students who stood by taking pictures and videos!! The pictures and videos they took did not even clearly show the killer’s faces!!! If you couldn’t rescue your fellow student, at least call police, your CSO or take videos and photos that can be used to catch the killers Most of us have watched the gruesome video and are angered or irritated, so it beats my imagination to know that their fellow students stood by taking fotos and videos while this happened, and were neither angered or irritated, and made no effort to rescue them. Now they have flooded cyber space with pictures and all sort of write-ups, most of these serve no other purpose but to drive traffic to blogs, and websites!! Where is NANS? Where is Uniport SUG? Where is Rivers state student Association executive? Four days after, No congress!!!! Shame!! Shame on all of you!! Everyone should stop blaming the community alone! The students who took fotos to drive traffic to their blogs are murderers!! NANS executive that has decided to only pay courtesy calls to Government and multi-nationals are murderers!! The SUG that has refused to put the interest of Students above personal gains are murderers!! Greatest Nigerian Students!!! Great!! We refuse to be intimidated!! Aluta Continua, Victoria Acerta InJury to One is Injury to All! NB: Pardon brevity, Typos regretted. |

akereconfi: RSHA......what'z happening to the current batch of students that just finished their A level in Nigera, what'z happening to those in UK that after completing their Bsc...in Pre Medical, they were denied admission into Medicine in UK rather being directed to Malaysia.....what'z happening to the ones that just finished Pre A level ins JCSS......all we heard is.....NO FUNDS.....Price of Crude Oil Dropped......You clearly did not read through the post, you just saw the heading and decided to post. Please point out where it was said that they were going to learn how to speak and write. What the deputy speaker proposed was opportunities for training in the areas of public speaking, persuasion and specialized arts of writing From the concerns you raised, I assume you are one of those students who have this govt scholarship. Considering your sentence construction, and 'what'z', I really wonder what criteria was used in selecting students for this scholarship. NB: its NIGERIA, and not Nigera!! |
Keneking: I am sure most people thought that the training request is overseas. Unfortunately, Rivers State has its own university and the lawmakers are soliciting the training from its own. I dont see anything wrong. Please the University Of Port Harcourt is in NO way owned by Rivers State |
What is "aktin"?? Your spelling sucks! If you want meaningful and matured responses to your post, you shouldn't type like this. As to your question, everyone is blessed with different talents. Someone blessed with the talent of acting, would find it eaiser to act than to sing. |
A blog isn't a reliable source!! |
I really do wish ignorance was painful!! At least some people would be in so much pain that they can't type!!!! |
This headline looks misleading. The Fukushima incident happened in March 2011, which is about 17months ago. Radiation is carried on dust particles, The air itself isn't radioactive but small dust particles are; washing off the dust from any surface that has been exposed decontaminates radiation. We have had two raining seasons since then, So even if these cars haven’t been washed, rain must have washed off the radioactive dust (if any). I think any concerns would have been the few months after this incident, not more than a year later. |
ehie: @trixLooking at Human history in general, and American history in particular, it was quite a big deal that a black man was elected president!! Remember Luther’s ‘I have a dream’?? I am not in America, and would not want to meddle into what he did and what he did not do. But my point remains that the fact that he could, gave people around the world hope!! And YES!! Eloquence and good oratory skills are important skills in leadership!! |
Nicedeal: my friend, what difference does it make. The 3 most important thing when buying a vehicle is 1, the engine of the car(is it sound), 2 the body of the car (is it very clean) 3, the interior of the car(is it neat) and the price of the car( will i be able to afford it). Before any banking transactions your own mechanic has to certify it, text driving is completely free of charge (it's called inspection).I think your concern should be, is this offer good to be true, Ok am coming for inspection. Thank youI'm pretty sure you know that the car's history is also important! if you dont, then you have no business selling cars!!! |
ehie: what are u try tring to sell with Obama's speech always coming up in the front page,I take it that you too did not read any of the previous speeches that had been posted here in the last few days! The one that was posted yesterday and the previous day was Bill and Mitchell’s speech!! If only you had taken time to read it, you wouldn’t have said ’STOP POSTING THE FRIGGING SPEECH OVER AND OVER AGAIN’ A word of advice, the mere fact that Obama won his first tenure, was an inspiration to a lot of people around the world, that a black man could win presidential election in the USA gave them hope to keep trying; that If Obama could, they too can overcome whatever obstacles they faced!! So yeah, Obama did something for not just Americans, but for Nigerians and Africans!! |
It’s really disgusting when people say they can’t read what amounts to less than two pages!! If you are too busy to read it, you can just leave without making any useless comment. It’s even worse when these same people begin to dissect and discuss politics based on what someone else has summarized for them. |
The Car is clearly parked in a mechanic workshop, and you say there’s nothing wrong!! |
2mch: Oh. You are even one of them. But the question i asked her was if she was the "average" Nigerian. How she knew Allison would be there parading like a peacock and the meeting holds on Wednesday? Are you angry that i exposed her lies. All of you in the hot computer room could not stand the heat? Let the area girl come and talk for herself. The quality of the beings they hire is quite low.I really don't know how you can boldly repeat such ignorance even after you have been corrected over and over again!! The average nigerian cares about FEC meetings, and everyone who makes any meaningful contribution to any discussion on nigerian politics knows FEC meetings hold on Wednesdays!! Some embarrassing yourself. Btw FEC means Federal Executive Council. Its not a pepersoup gathering. |
Akainzo: Is the Washington Post a good enough news agency with known office and reporters for you?Thank You.. |
Solemn tee: “The reconstruction of Aba which is presently hindered by the rainy season is ......"So it has been raining since he came into power in 2007? Solemn tee: “we are in a hurry to meet expectations of our people.”...... ....."He said: “My determination to rebuild Aba derives not only in the fact......"Can he show me one solid project he has completed since 2007? Solemn tee: “The insinuation that government is not meeting its target in the city can only be made by people without the requisite experience both in pubic and private endevours.”And this Target is what? |
Akainzo: The same SaharaReporters that broke the news about Dame Patience Jonathan being hospitalised in Germany, to which Reuben Abati came out blasting insnuating that it was all lies. Now that we now all know the truth, please tell me, who was actually lying? So you have proof that She is hospitalized in Germany? I'm curious, why hasn’t any news agency with a known office and reporters carried this news? why is it that only faceless news agencies have this authoritative source? I’m not holding brief for anyone, But Rebuen Abati Said She's on vacation, an ‘authoritative anonymous source’ said she's hospitalized, who am I to believe? Spokesperson for the president, or an unknown person? My point is Ruben can be held liable for what he said, and unknown person cannot be held liable. |
berem: These sahara reporters are they nigerians? Am kinda curious!Someone seats behind a computer in New York and posts crap on the internet, and some folks in Nigeria just swallow it hook, line and sinker!! even a spoilt clock is right twice a day, so SR just keeps guessing and filling in the blanks, and once in a while, they hit pay dirt! |
odizzy: GOAT, u wey knw pass, how gud hv it bin 2 uYou are calling another human a goat, when you cannot construct a proper sentence |
2mch: You want us to believe you are a "typical" Nigerian. Just commenting on a thread, yet you know there is an FEC meeting tomorrow.hmmmm. 2mch: Hahaha, government agent. Farking troll. I bet they give you provision money at the meetings. SMH. The average Nigerian gives a tosh about senseless FEC meetings abi. Maga like you. Dem nor train you well, laptop 2. You just exposed yourself. They also show the details of the meetings abi, that you will see the minister parading up and down. Ewu. If you are just a random Nigerian commenting honestly then I am GEJ Bukkyade: OLODO! Were ni e! This shows you don't even watch news at all. I just found out I have been discussing with an Agbero all the while. An Agbero who doesn't know that FEC meetings hold every Wednesday since OBJ days in 1999. I'm happy you have come to learn this night. If you have a TV , stay tuned and watch CHANNELS TV or AIT or even STV news later today and you will watch the outcome of FEC sessions. Try it next week too and start following it. It will redeem your iilletracy. Please always tell them I told you first. 2mch: Wow, you are definitely a troll. Show me full coverage of the SEC meeting on Channels TV. You think everyone has time for your lies? Little girl, you are the illiterate. Are you the best they can do? See how the thing writes. At least I have my pride, I don't take cursed money and lie. Learn from your predecessors. Awuf will kill one day. 2mch: I don't want an update or highlights. I want you to post proof here. Liar! No matter what they pay you I can better it don't worry. Ass kissing is not your strong point. You sound slow. It’s hard to believe that You did NOT know FEC meetings held every Wednesday, and when it was pointed out to you, you did not hide your head in shame, instead you are asking for proof.. Not updates or highlights, but a whole video showing the full meeting!! to answer your questions, A 'Typical Nigerian' Knows that FEC meetings hold every Wednesday, The average Nigerian gives a tosh about FEC meetings, Bukkyade never ever said you could watch the full coverage of the SEC meeting on Channels TV! you really should think before you speak/type, and stop disgracing yourself |
All civil servants MUST declare ALL their assets, especially after a 'promotion' like this... If she had accepted it, she would have been forced to declare. |
Why hasn't anyone mentioned Stanbic IBTC or Union Bank? I'd love to hear what people think of these banks |
Publishing GEJ speech before the broadcast doesn't make SR credible, it only makes them look very irresponsible. Sometimes, An advanced copy of the president's speech is made available to the press, with a clause that it should not be published until after the president's broadcast. I'm surprised that people are using the fact that SR flouted that clause as a reason to show SR's credibility. |
^^^ you are 'quiet' sure that Sylva won the primaries last year? |
It wouldn't hurt you to at least open the link and READ before spewing ignorance here!! The level of ignorance exhibited here daily is alarming |
I'm glad I was in the north when 'Boko haram' unleashed one of their numerous attacks, and one thing we heard them chanting was 'Sai Buhari'. So any1 who tinks there would have still been 'boko haram' if Buhari had won is greatly mistaken!. The reason why security is solid in most developed countries is 'cos the citizens play their own part. How many of all these people complaining have given a useful tip to any security agency about boko haram? They are NOT spirits!! The military/police can't work without proper intel! |
. No matter what shade you come under. You people are quite obvious. I dont know which average Nigerian so much as cares about the FEC meeting of lies. Not to even care when it holds. ODE. BTW where is Allison?
