Good morning seniors
Please I would like someone to shed more light on these occupations.
I have read online severally but I can't seem to make up my mind. And that's been complicated with all the medical gargons I've been reading online.
Please seniors in the medical field, what's your take on Social Work and Nursing (Adult)? I do not have any background, just want to change my career.
What are the career prospects?
Which will be easier to transition into considering I have no background of such
And most importantly, which will benefit me and my family the most on the long run...... (PR pathway)

8. On day 28 ( I personally recommend having patience till day 30). Go to your bank and print the account statement.
9. Press the submit button on your application portal and book for your biometrics.

If the money has been there for longer, that is amazing. However, ensure that as at the day you clicked ‘submit’ if you do a BACKWARD countdown, the balance should never have dropped to anything less than the Onda rates on the day of submission.

If you require any more clarification, ask.[/quote]

Thank you for this response
Are you saying I can submit bank statement of just a month or 2 and not the regular 3-6months? Like if I open an account for this purpose and run it for a month, I can submit it like that?

Also, please are you saying there won't be anything like letter of explanation to further explain where the money came from?

On the biometrics please, would someone who has previously given biometrics within one year still require to give biometric again? (Unlike the Canadian application where your biometrics is valid for 10years)

Transcripts are no addresses to a particular school. And there's usually two. An academic copy and a student's copy. The student copy is yours to apply to a thousand schools if you wish. The academic copy goes from your undergraduate institution straight to your school for MSc. So you should get your Student's copy and use it.

thank you for your response
actually, our schools are different
my school sends transcripts directly to the institution, with the name written on all pages of the transcript
it was even an insider that i rubbed his hands to get my transcript scanned to me, that was why i got the one wt me that year. trying to avoid the cost, but seems i will request for a new one now

Use your undergraduate transcript AS IS and add your diploma certificate, explaining why your undergraduate studies started from the second year. If your Bsc certificate is already out, they may not request for your transcripts at all.

Thank you so much,Are you saying my transcript addressed to another school in Canada can suffice? I have diploma statement of result, my BSC certificate is ready. Am I good to go?

Zoey1:
What would you need this transcript for?
Undergraduate transcripts to apply for MSC? If Yes that's unnecessary, your final result or statement would suffice.
Transfer from one Undergrad to UK Undergrad?
Get the transcripts and ask the school to mail you a copy or make a firm choice first before applying for transcript.

Thank you so much
I need my undergrad transcript to apply for my MSC
Since you said its not necessary, I would just send my BSC certificate alongside my application.
I'm grateful

Hello seniors
Please I need help applying to schools
Those that have gained admission, kindly assist

How do I go about applying to different schools in terms of transcripts?
Will I have to request for transcript for each one, or how do I go about it?

Also, my Bsc transcript starts from 200L cos I did a year diploma with the same school. I have my diploma statement of result, but I do not have my transcript (I've requested for the diploma transcript for more than a year now, but I haven't received it, saying they relocated, so they can't find it) Please how do I go about this

Please I need some personal assistance and guidance from anyone who already gained admission into the University of Sunderland.
Please holla

Thank you for your response, studied Geography and I studied Agricultural Economics.

umarwy:

If s/he wants to change into cyber, one doesn't need a degree you only need to download vmware/Virtual box and practice using industry tools like Kali, nexuss, etc and learn how to use, and configure Linux systems, plus learn about server hardening etc. 2k or less worth of courses and exams might be far benefiting to them and a 3 year degree.
Most degrees both in naija and UK don't give you the necessary tools to excel in industry. But naija like book and we dey use am take style port out of the country.

Thank you so much
Would just go for the masters degree and then do some courses to get the necessary certifications needed to go into cyber security.
Thank you so much

Hello seniors
Please for someone who wants a second degree, is there something like age barrier for a second bachelor's degree?
Reason is this, my spouse would like to switch to cyber security, but doesn't have any IT related background. So we are thinking of doing a bachelor's degree first.
Also, are there things that masters students are entitled, that bachelor students can't get?
Plus can a bachelor apply with dependants?
Please if there are any good suggestions, kindly avail me

Yea that's like the third trimester I forgot
It'll take abt 3months plus for this process by then I do think it might be too late.. The good news is she can try next time and still secure a PR for this child... Just go through the thread it's pretty straight forward

does that mean there is no hope for people who are showing already even though the person has some available time to accommodate the processing time of 3months?

Which ECA provider are u planning to use WES or ICES
I planning to send my transcript from my university to ICES tomorrow, but I am scared of ICES delay in evaluation.
WES with their too much requirements made me opt for ICES

i will advise you use WES cos ICES starts counting from when they acknowledge receipt of your documents

Chicagomum:

WES is faster takes a maximum of 6 weeks if you meet all the requirements. ICES takes about 12 weeks. I heard they have alot of backlog.

WAEC issue is no more cos all you need is to get a scratch card and you fill the form on their site with the pin.

You can send all the documents to WES if you are the one processing your transcipt to reduce postage cost using DHL or UPS

If you are not in a hurry and you are evaluating one degree you can use ICES cos its cheaper. You dont have to send the physical documents you can send documents including transcript via email

If you have more than one document to evaluate or you are in a hurry you can consider WES.

All the info you need is on the respective sites

All the best

hello ma'am, i want to be double sure of your information
are you saying all we need to send to WES is just the WAEC Scratchard?
no affidavit, no waec head office waka, no confirmation of result?
please enlighten me

It won't cause a threat. All you've to do is to include a newspaper change of name and marriage certificate to show you both are legally married. Do you have kids?, you can also attach their birth certificates. Additionally, put up a brief explanation concerning the subject matter when drafting your SOP.

Thank you for this response
I have kids, but my new surname is what I have on the birth certificate
Will this be an issue?
