Idrismusty97: Some interesting comments; Aaron July 5, 2014 at 1:20 pm On reading this, I felt like the writer had some kind of bias. Look at the first sentence — it doesn’t describe anything about the finding, only hyped it. Say it’s true, that this junk DNA with its Adenine, Guanine, Cytosine and Thymine translates bible verses into our DNA. How does this prove god’s existence? Not only that, how does this prove the Christian god is the real one out of the thousands of other gods? The argument I’m seeing in this article is (I arranged them into lines of three, two premises and a conclusion): Junk DNA is just hanging around in our bodies. We’re noticing a pattern in the junk DNA. Therefore the junk DNA might translate into a language. The junk DNA might translate into a language. Aramaic works with the patterns in the junk DNA. Therefore the junk DNA translates into Aramaic. The junk DNA translates into sentences. The sentences are from the Bible. Therefore God is real. TL;DR — Assuming it’s true, how does this a) prove a deity’s existence, and b) prove that the Christian god is real?
Wesley August 1, 2014 at 8:26 am I don’t know if I buy this – not nearly enough evidence at this point; nevertheless, if I were to take this at face value, how could I believe any world view other than Christianity? If “God” has written ancient verses from the Christian Bible into my DNA, then I think I’d better pay attention. To say you think this is true, but it doesn’t prove anything is nothing short of insane. To say you believe this without further corroborating evidence is naive. Why are people so amazingly close- minded on the topic of “God”. If “God” is real, then I imagine He is not afraid of questions, thinking, or science – if these findings are true, He has obviously hidden Himself for us to find Him with science. As I stated before, I need further evidence to buy this claim – it is wildly out of the box! Nevertheless, if there are quotes from the Christian 1st and 2nd Testament written in my DNA in ancient Arabic, then I think that means something. It could mean everything.
Jerkosaurus August 1, 2014 at 6:12 pm You think that is proof? I saw Jesus in my toast! What more proof do you need?
Tetragrammaton August 8, 2014 at 7:20 am Wait guys. I saw Jesus in my coffee. Is bible real now, is christan god real now? This is garbage. My gosh, I’m so sick of all these religions The critics here were only complaining, they could not carry out their own research and come out with a different results for the world to see. What a lazy and ineffective way of criticizing! |

Science And The Bible Meet: The language in the "junk DNA", the DNA that scientists had for years discarded as useless, was indistinguishabe from ancient Aramaic. Even more amazingly, as linguists started to translate the code within the human genome, they found that parts of the script it contained were at times remarkably close in composition to verses found in the Bible. And at times contained direct biblical quotes. On the human gene PYGB, Phosporomylase Glycogen, a non-coding transposon, holds a linguistic sequence that translates as "At first break of day, God formed sky and land". This bears stunning similarity to Gen. 1:1 "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth". Gene Bimp3 has a Retrotransposon sequence which translates to the well-known 1 Cor. 6:19 "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own own". This is repeated over and over throughout the entire sequence of human DNA: embedded equivalent genetic code of ancient Aramaic that seems to translate as the word of God to his people. Matthew Boulder, chief linguist for the project and professor of applied creation science at Bob Jones University, issued this statement: "As for the evidence, it is there and it is to my view undeniable. The very word of God elegantly weaved in and out very bodies and souls, as plain as day. And the beauty of it that God would lay down the words of truth in our beings, shows his love and The Miracle"Link: www.witscience.org/first-scientific-proof-god-found/ |

PastorKun: Very good question by the op. There is simply no evidence even from the quoran and the hadiths that he was a prophet apart from the personal unverifiable claims that he made. And of course the legacy of jihad( terrorism in mordern times) that he left behind is most ungodly. Me too, I cannot accept Muhammad as a prophet because his messages contradict the ones before him. All prophets of God in the Bible came confirming the words of God they met on ground but Muhammad came contradicting them, and there is no confirmation of his revelations from anyone up till now. I mean nobody else has seen or heard anything from God to confirm his message. Again, they attribute Kaaba to Abraham and Ishmael but none of other children of Abraham venerated Kaaba and no history of their going to Mecca to worship there. The question therefore is: why only Ishmael would recognize Kaaba, a house of worship "for all mankind"? Up till now, no muslims has been able to answer the following: Why is it that it was only Ishmael out of all the children of Abraham who venerated the Kaaba? Why did the Scriptures before islam not mention Kaaba during and after Abraham's life. If Abraham and Ishmael built Kaaba and established islam in Mecca, who were the people who practiced islam after them? If islam was once in Mecca before Muhammad, at what point in time did ALL the people turn to idols without any single muslim left before Muhammad came? The truth is that there was no islam in Mecca before Muhammad, hence there was no single muslim in Mecca when Muhammad came. Therefore the Kaaba in Mecca was built by idolaters for housing their 360 idols. The idol in Muhammad's family was named I-illah, which was renamed "Allah". The Meccans revolted against Muhammad's imposition of his father's idols on other idolaters, which he called islamic persecution. Nobody then asked who allah was, they already knew him. The Devil looked for a way for about 650 years after Jesus had ascended to heaven to make people worship him in the belief that they are worshiping the true God. But God is not worshiped facing the centre of idols, never. |

onetrack: I know a lot about Muhammad and I am in a position to comment. The hadiths are unreliable, despite the work put into them by Bukhari and Muslim and others. Stories can change rapidly in 200 years; they can even change rapidly in a day! Historians do not regard 200 years of word of mouth to be reliable. The quran is said to contain only the words of allah, yet it says muslims should obey Muhammamad. Where do they find Muhammad's words if hadiths are unreliable? |

onetrack: I don't hate Muhammad. We don't even know much about him. The hadiths were all written down 200 years after his death, which means that a huge number of them were fabricated. I'm not even convinced he composed the Quran. I personally believe, that, like Jesus, he was pretty much a normal person but whose followers made him into something that he was not, and that his followers were the primary authors of the Quran. In other words, Islam and Christianity are a product not of prophets or sons of god, but rather a group of people who were motivated to create a new religion and created myths around Muhammad and Jesus (who were neither prophets nor a son of god) with which to impress naive people into joining the religion. Since you don't know much about Muhammad, you are not in the position to comment. The hadiths are his words and deed, which now form islamic teachings. |

denigma2: My prayer is that may Allah grant understanding of Islam to those who sincerely desire to know. I feel that one of those may benefit from my clarifications As for those that question just to make mockery of The Path to Success, then Allah alone is the All knowing and He is just 1) Meccans are not the only Arabs 2) There was no one living in Mecca before the arrival of Hajar ( Ismail's mum) & Ismail. The Zamzam fountain which Allah miraculously provided to quench Ismail's thirst was what brought people to Mecca as the place was formerly a dry desert unsuitable for human habitation 3) Prophets are sent to specific people/ nations. Abraham & Ismail were not sent to the people of Mecca 4) The people of Mecca had received no prophetic guidance before the time of Prophet Muhammed ( Upon whom be Peace) 5) Prophet Muhammed performed miracles and prophesies many of which have come/ are coming to past. ( a google search on this will suffice) 6) Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) was the only Messanger sent to the whole word
I hope this suffices
I am willing to clarify any further reasonable observation if I can Peace Muhammad performed no miracles! The quran is clear on this.He was not sent by the true God. |

tartar9: messengers are sent to a nation who are astray like i said before the arabs followed their fathers religion Islam before resorting to idolatory. Why was kaaba venerated by only Ishmael and not Isaac and other children of Abraham? Why did the earlier scriptures not talk about kaaba before Muhammad came with islam? Who were muslims after Ishmael in Mecca (with proof)? At what time of islam in mecca did ALL the people turn to idol without a single muslim left? I put it to you that never a time was Abraham or Ishmael in mecca to build kaaba or establish islam. |

tartar9: what da hell are you saying, mecca was first inhabited by Hagar and Ishmael(father of arabs) so which people was he sent to? So, Ishmael was only arabs' father, he wasn't sent to his children as their prophet. No wonder islam does not have history of any muslim after him but idolaters. No muslim survived him. If Ishmael was a prophet but not sent to his children, to whom was he a prophet? No prophet was in Mecca to establish islam, Kaaba was built by idolaters. |

tartar9: the Holy Quran clearly states theat kaaba was built by abraham and ishmael.were the arabs not descended from ishmael, those who lived with him then followed their fathers religion Islam, why then is a messenger needed? or you are trying to say Allah sent Abraham and Ishmael as messengers to the arabs :-/ Were Abraham and Ishmael prophets (messengers)? Yes or No? If they were messengers, it shows they were never in Mecca as no messenger was there before Muhammad. |
Islam › Re: Quranic Evidence That Abraham And Ishmael Did Not Build Kaaba by truthman2012(op): 9:43am On Jan 22, 2015 |
tartar9: yes,no messengers or book was sent to the arabs before.where is the contradiction? Who is talking about contradiction here? You agreed that no messanger, no scripture was sent to the arabs before Muhammad, that means Abraham and Ishmael (as messengers) were not in Mecca to build Kaaba. The arabian idolaters must have built it. |
