Quite the opposite for me, the more I learned of Jesus peace be upon him, the more I wanted to revert to Islam. In a way Jesus peace be upon him helped bring me away from Christianity to Islam 11 years ago. Made me realize Jesus peace be upon him is a creation not the Creator

The children of Israel were passing through Baca going to Zion. Do people pass through Mecca to go to Zion? They were going to pilgrimage in Zion, not Kaaba the house of idols.

Kaaba was the house built by pagans who were worshiping allahh as an idol, which Muhammad tried to promote to the status of the true God.

Why was Moses not in Kaaba ?

Why did Jesus not go to Kaaba ?

Why didn't Isaac, Jacob and others go there?

has been used figuratively for the church and
for Israel in the Babylonian captivity, so it
seems like it has been used for any group or
mass of people worshiping God, which can
be applied on Kaaba here. This can even be

Zion

Bible said about the Islamic Kaaba in Mecca.
Allah in the Quran telling about the Kaaba

96. The first House (of worship) appointed
for men was that at Bakka: Full of blessing
and of guidance for all kinds of beings:

Kaaba in the Bible
In Psalm 84 it says:
4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
they are ever praising you.
Selah
5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you,
who have set their hearts on pilgrimage.
6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca ,
they make it a place of springs;
the autumn rains also cover it with pools.
7 They go from strength to strength,
till each appears before God in Zion.

So the word Valley of Baca is clearly
mentioned here, and mentioned as a noun
not translated to weeping as some other
Biblical versions translate. Meaning it’s a
real place not just a metaphorical one.
Zamzam Spring
Then it comes to something else:
they make it a place of springs;
the autumn rains also cover it with pools.
Mecca has the spring of Zamzam which is a
huge spring that has been producing water
continuously for more than 1400 years and
the pipelines transporting Zamzam water to
Al Madina (about 400 km north) which is
even an independent miracle in that blessed
place. Mecca is also a place where rains are
very heavy in the autumn. [/b]
