2 Out Of The 27 Rivers Assembly Lawmakers Who Joined APC , Returns Back To The PDP....Declares Support For Sim Fubara. Two of the 27 Rivers House Of Assembly lawmakers that decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday have reneged from the defection while a good number of others are relentlessly lobbying to also return, The Guardian gathered. The two lawmakers who have so far returned and apologised to Governor Siminalayi Fubara, are Tonye Adoki,… Rivers State governor Siminalayi Fubara Two of the 27 Rivers House Of Assembly lawmakers that decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday have reneged from the defection while a good number of others are relentlessly lobbying to also return, The Guardian gathered. The two lawmakers who have so far returned and apologised to Governor Siminalayi Fubara, are Tonye Adoki, a member representing Port Harcourt Constituency II, and Linda Somiari Stewart representing Okrika Constituency at the State House of Assembly. Confirming the development, the State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Mr. Joseph Johnson, said there are more defected members jostling to return. Johnson noted that the state needs peace and unity to thrive, assuring that the administration of Fubara will continue to take steps that will entrench peace in the State. The Guardian’s observation shows that most of the defected lawmakers were only adhering to directives without adequate knowledge of the implications. Their breakout from the defection may have followed arguments by some lawyers and political analysts in the State that the lawmakers shot themselves in the foot by allegedly allowing themselves to be controlled by a selfish godfather. Some of lawyers argued that the division cited by the lawmakers as their reason for defection was baseless, stressing that there is no factional Chairman in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) or other crisis situation that may have caused their action. A constitutional lawyer and lecturer at the Rivers State University, Prof Richard Wokocha said, the law recognises only the four lawmakers who remained in PDP as the only legitimate members of the State Assembly. He said, there is no party crisis or other valid situations to justify the defection. Wokocha added that the defection has opened a new chapter for the crisis in the state. https://guardian.ng/news/two-of-27-defected-lawmakers-return-to-pdp-apologises-to-fubara/ |
Indispensable85:sim will win his second term like the way Godwin obaseki won his second term. Obaseki is preparing to paid 13 months salaries to the workers. Workers dey enjoy ooo |
wunmi590:yes soo. The system was designed for them to steal, but the major thing is for them to fulfill the campaign promises they promised the people during campaign season. GSM is trying. |
Justiceori2019:party crier their seats have been declared vacant and Inec will organise election in the next 90 days. Infact Pdp at the National level has gone to court of justice on that directing Inec to conduct election in the 27 constituencies in Rivers State. Governor Fubara is winning the war hard. Fighting the war with his blood and strength. No going back in fighting his battles. |
Fubara keep on winning the war hard. God dey your back. No lose guard ooo. Fight your battles hard and well. |
Good decisions from the Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly. You are really hitting them hard. You are winning the war hard too. Governor fubara is winning the war hard. No going back. Winning the battle well. |
waice6571:that’s is Engineer Femi Jogor and his aggrieved camp has aligned with makinde and his camp. Ibadan people still support gsm 100% |
wunmi590:wow that’s great, May the Lord continue to bless the governor GSM, the man tried in infrastructures and people’s and workers welfare no be small |
Bliss62:Fubara will win his second term in landslide victories. 100% of the good people of Rivers State are heavily in support of Fubara government. Wike is a clueless goner and will be heavily dealt with by the good people of rivers state. As it stands today, Fubara is the leader of Pdp in Rivers State. Fubara will expose Wike and his huge corruption that happened in his government in the last 8 years. Fubara is winning the war hard. No going back here |
Bliss62:that’s the next thing and governor Fubara will do the needful on that. |
Good one from Fubara, you are really winning the war hard. Fight your battles and don’t look back |
Good decisions from the indefatigable Speaker of Rivers State house of Assembly, Honourable Edison. More powers to win your wars. Indefatigable Governor Sun Fubara is winning the war hard. Winning it and don’t look back. The good people of Rivers State are solidly behind you. |
emee701:Bayo Na stingy politician. Bayo won’t get governorship ticket in oyo Apc. You seem not to understand oyo state politics. |

Difrent:you are wrong in your comments here. GSM is widely accepted in all the 3 senatorial district. Bayo Adelabu failed woefully cos’ of his stinginess in Oyo State politics. Infact Agidigbo radio 📻 founder, Oriyomi hamzat talked much on Bayo Adelabu penkelemess during the campaign in this year. Forget it here, Bayo Adelabu isn’t strong politically in oyo State politics. Check out the number of voters that cast votes for him when he was in APC in 2019 and now when he contested under Accord party. GSM support Tinubu cos’ of the hatred he has with Atiku and besides GSM is in Wike camp(G-5 camp), so definitely he will have to support Tinubu presidential candidacy. Tinubu doesn’t have much input in oyo State politics. The oyo State electorates chosed the leaders they want based on their sacrifices, works and helped they rendered to the People. GSM have paid huge sacrifices before he emerge as the governor in oyo state in 2019. Senator ladoja will support the candidate gsm support in 2026/2027 election season. Bayo isn’t strong politically in oyo State. Ask oyo electorates, they will tell you more about Adelabu Bayo and his political styles of playing politics. Ibadan will support gsm nominating a governorship candidate from Oke Ogun axis cos’ the ticket will be Oke-Ogun/Ibadan ticket in Pdp. Still let’s keep our fingers crossed. Till 2026 when governorship primary election will take place, let’s keep on watching. |
Difrent:with teslim Folarin and his camp in APC, I don’t think Bayo Adelabu will get the governorship ticket in 2026. Oyo state APC is different from Lagos State APC. Bayo isn’t a grassroots politician, he’s just opportuned to be nominated by Tinubu to be the governorship candidate during Ajimobi era niii. GSM is trying extremely well in governance. In all the 3 senatorial district in oyo State, gsm is widely accepted and his works touched all the 3 senatorial district. Any governorship candidate GSM support will win the 2027 governorship poll in oyo state. GSM won’t support Bayo Adelabu cos’ he knows they are rival in oyo politics. Also gsm is going to the Senate in 2027, so it will be very difficult for Bayo Adelabu to emerge as the governor of oyo State. Ibadan people that formed 60% of electorates complained a lot that Bayo Adelabu is a stingy man. Bayo Adelabu will be defeated as usual. They won’t even give him the governorship ticket in oyo Apc. |
This is God’s Grace at work here |
Arsenal should win this match joor. Aron ramdale is the one keeping for Arsenal team in this match. |
Governor Fubara is fighting the war hard |
