Why promise what is "not" in your hand? why spend money on power "owned" by private individuals? Why commission power plants "owned" by private conpanies? Why hasn`t any govt official deny responsibility for generating power? |
akatekpe:#VoteNotViolence....shio¡...according to the gospel of gun weilding and haboc wrecking OPC in south west; racist and dare devil MASSOB in south east; hellish gangs of Niger.Delta. Who in their height of penitence took to the less sinister but more rewarding trade of campaigning for "CON«««ti«««naughty" |
When an enlightened First Lady reportedly called for stoning change agents, you couldn't decide. OPC brandished weapons under the watch of educated security operatives, you couldn't decide. When Aisat Buhari was stoned in Kwara you couldn`t decide. Alas when a lowly cobbler voiced his moral persuasion just as christians pray to be the head and never the tail, you found a scapegoat! OP honesty is the best policy, you dont need scapegoats but your own conscience to tell you what to do. If GEJ has done enough pls, by all means, vote for him and let those who need Change do same. My candid advise to those who cast GEJ in ethnic mould is that Kano, Katsina and Kaduna have more voters than south east. so where can alienation of the north get you in a free and fair election? This election is looking more lika a OWN Goal against PDP! |
empty the bottle of beer. we assume that the island has a name so write the name on the paper and put it inside the bottle. cover it up with a piece if the booth and toss it into the ocean. |
I hope OP knows he is mocking the needy in our society and not Buhari. this explains anti poor policies of GEJites and why they think the needy do not matter in this election. |
If PDP wins it is going to be a war of consolidation. I dont know how many people prefer the consolidation of the status quo. Well it will depend on those benefiting from it. on the other hand if APC wins it is going to be a war of recovery. It is like an uprising against the system by those outside the system. If you look at those outside the system they are usually more. late hour sharing of goodies hardly suffices to make people part of the system. call it economic crisis, for the recoverers it is called the ONLY OPPORTUNITY. Sincerely I wish things were done differently in the last four years. |
Your analysis clearly ignores PDP strategy:- Religion and Culture. if muslims are nearly 50% of voters, you should know how they will reply GEJites for denigrating GMB? As for The remaining 50% who are Christians, majority may sit idly by and trust God to literally come down to cast the deciding vote! under the circumstances, GMB has more than 60% chance to win a free and fair election. it would have been better if GEJites acknowledged lapses in governance and make genuine moves for reconciliation and reforms. Instead they are telling 30million Unemployed youths (as per National Bureau of Statistics and Fed min of Youths) that some 2 million jobs were created. Voting PDP will be as a result of personal conviction and experience. Sadly, i don't know how many people the party touched at `uplifting level` in the last 16 years. For many therefore it is not even the president, an amiable gentleman, it is the party that has been in power for 16 years and keep blaming its previous candidates of 12 years for poor governance. |
I salute your dispassionate viewpoint on job creation. the truth is:- NEVER EXPECT SOMEONE WITHOUT A CLOUD OF PREJUDICE TO SEE THE STARS OF WISDOM. Instead of some to agree that budget should be prioritized for the benefit of many they will insist that the fraction (less than 700,000) who have the power to consume 80% should be allowed to do so whilst the rest (169 million) should make do with 20%. the 2/3 of the 20% comes by way of contract. So what actually trickles down in the name of youwin is the percentage of 12 billion in 4trillion. add one or two token prorammes to it. What will shock you sir is that some in grinding poverty are only waiting for an opportunity to eat crumbs from the table. any attempt such as yours to get them properly served will be resisted once their master order them to fight against their own right. They cry privately to God to bless them through the system but they will even fight any attempt by God to make things right for everybody. why should He make it right. Not this time they will argue. Certainly not at the expense of their daily crumb. Not by way of truth. But if God must help, let him place them at the table where others are Cheated! So my brother. More than Change, we need a miraclulous Change or miraculous Transformation for hawks are every where. if it comes to two choices only, I guess I wouuld love always to Vote Change as a verdict against social injustice for which the incumbent is always complicit! If the rich can say what he wants to get himself a private jet while should the needy be too scared, prejudiced and horrified to speak up for social justice which is the only assurance for social safety? Alas it is general greed. why should they demand a system that task their intellect for success when they can work for one that demand their loyalty for enrichment. although this type of enrichment is not automatic like a social safety system yet they would rather take their chances. The dream of a mansion at Ikoyi or Maitama is better than the reality of a peaceful bungalow at Abakiliki, Benue or Katsina. |
I dont expect anything more from the 40,000 beneficiaries of YouWin. two friends are also awardees. my only wish is if that 30, 000,000 unenployed youths would also have reasons to celebrate Transformation. I also wish that the winners do not see their success a reason for 90% to be left in the cold. this is the point action aid tried to make - they sould have conceded some kudos for govt though. |
Can you let us know if Jews also have documented accounts such as these in the old testament? if you find any can you hold this as a christian doctrine? I am a Christian and your propaganda is by no means a Christlike excercise. Every blood split by bigots is on everyone who fanned the embers of war. Are you better than them. if pen is mightier than sword you the ones that ruin humamity with the venom of your ink. |

who will go out protest for the welfare of these Nigerian families? no one! may God plead their cause. |
#BabaWhileYouWereGone. We sofa fuel scarcity for supporting Change. Dem come say na you cause am. |
Wow! the 13th paragraph of the article from British Newpaper says Buhari "had reputation for honesty" It is settled wisdom that if you want to hire some one for a job u should look out for three qualities:- energy, intelligence and integrity. without integrity, the first 2 qualities will kill you! |
TAKE NOTICE! IT IS WIN WIN FOR GMB & GEJ. They are comfortable. For poor Nigerians, especially those who made no effort at CHANGE of WHATEVER KIND, their insecurity, joblesness and socio-economic miseries will be justified from 2015 to 2019. Meanwhile, for those who cheer excuses of govt and block their ears to the agonies of innocent babies and infants dying in North East. ...With nearly a million security operatives at its [govt] command? May Father forgive you because you are ignorant of what you are doing. God forgive us all. Amen. One more thing. for the benefit of humanitarian relief I will align with Profs. Wole Soyinka, Itse Sagay and David West who believe that the Clock of Change cannot tick fast enough! |
Redoil:not from the 'tresurey' nay treasury. Soludo said the money did not make it to the treasury. How? waivers, lack of remittance or stolen as crude oil! The best answer to Soludo must show that:- 1. there are no waivers. 2. all agencies remitted every dime. 3. crude oil was no stolen. no need of evidence just be on record as denying or rebutting the facts Tangentially and SPECIFICALLY. Calling Soludo names, EVEN IF THEY ARE HIS BAPTISMAL NAMES DOES NOT ANSWER HIS CLAIM. The average Nigeria knows little or nothing except that "SOMETHING" must be responsible for widespread poverty. In the spirit of brotherhood and turn by turn politics. we can also choose to just look elsewhere. shouldn't we? |
too little, almost too late. no one significantly disputes what the president HAS DONE the issue is what his administration COULD HAVE done for chibok, youths, widows, orphans but neglected to do. Fortunately for him APC seems to be more concerned about changing than leading. tell nigerians how many people were jobless before you came in and how many people have jobs now. or how many security outposts you have created and what is the shot fall. be real. stop reassuring your comfortable selves, start convincing millions of weary souls. if you doubt this. test my argument by opening a beautiful restaurant. make its entrance on the roof top without ladder or staircase. the fact that few people manage to enter your restaurant does not make it a desirable destination for the average customer. imagine if the restaurant is a primary school cafteria, how many pupils would habe access. another restaurant will be accepted no matter who runs it provided the food is not poisonous. IN THIS CASE IT, IS NOT! IN FACT NO LESS EDIBLE THAN WHAT YOU OFFER. Fayose understood this as stomach infrastructure. ... not the one of emergency voters' bribery. but the one of long term economic inclusion. fayemi was like GEJ in many developmental respects. but too many people were hungry, angry and awake. no matter what you say it is the voter's personal experience with hunger, violence, corruption, etc that will determine his choice. you can be happy though, FEW dont care! |
