mba emeka: You cannot be a "born again" but you can be "born again". To be born again is to receive the life of God into you. That life supplants the human life that you had at birth. This is what the bible refers to as the recreated human spirit. It is what Jesus meant by being born of the water- the word and the spirit- the holy spirit. This life is indestructible. The greek for it is zoe. I doubt you would know what it is because it is not taught in seminaries.

One gets born again by believing in ones heart that Jesus died in their stead and confessing with ones mouth that he resurrected to justify their salvation. That is the bible ordained way. Romans 10:9-10. Water baptism can only happen after this proclamation is made because water baptism is just an outward showing. It is not even a water sprinkling as some believe. The word baptizo refers to an immersion in water but that's for another day.

Stop the epistle..to be born again is to be baptised in christ.. When you are not baptised in christ, you are not yet christ-like, and so cannot make his kingdom. It is as simple as ABC
