I get worried when people brag with virtue |
Please I would like a recommendation for a good gynecologist in Lagos. Preferably in Ikeja and environs (Egbeda would be super). Thank you. |
2Mekus:Would there be any doubt who the killer is? If it wasn't a human life I would have said it would probably be the best scenario; so that Oyedepo and his ilk would be known for what they really are at last. |

Thanks X_factor. Got Myne on another thread. Nice interview there. |
Thanks Myne. Its a dream you got interested in my thread. It is humbling to see folks like you who've "made it" stop to consider others still aspiring. Will sleep over your suggestions. Thanks again. |

Hi. I see the advert of this publishing outfit just about everywhere and I am considering giving them a try. Yes I have read everything they say they are and do but does anyone have any "enlightened" info about them to share or suggestions for one seeking a publisher? |

Why will Nigerians not be docile when a vast majority of us are constantly being sedated every sunday (and on almost every other day) with words like "sow seed and the Lord will multiply?" |

I got to learn about escrow.com and paid a visit with the aim of using their services. But to my horror this is what I got over and over again: 7/29/2008 11:43:06 PM: Your access to Escrow.com has been denied. Is this yet another Nigeria shut out? Is there an alternative platform? Just where are we going on the internet? |
hmmmm, great info. i'm in nairaland to get info like this coz i'm scared of the blogosphere already (see my thread Nigerian Blogs are Dying). so what's in this for you? |
Following my post seeking advise before starting my blog I went researching Nigerian blogs (mainly here on nairaland) and discovered that many of the advertised blogs (see the topic Nigerian Blogs) are dead, including http://okrasoup.typepad.com/blacklooks/ which was widely acknowledged to be the best Nigerian blog. what is the hope for aspiring Nigerian bloggers like me? I however "stumbled upon" http://innocentlyspeaking.com authored by a Nigerian and took time to read almost all his posts. Fine writer but I hope he lasts. But will all those ads not put off visitors? |
@ Vassilli PRINCIPLED! Nice try. |

Why are born again people so wicked? One acclaimed holy guy I know who had been jobless and suffering for many years recently struck gold and started a business that fetches him millions. He employed and pays his staff between 12 and 20 thousand naira depending on their level of experience. Some of them live in Egbeda, Agbado and sango ota and the office is on Lagos Island. He deducts 500 naira from this money for every day his staff are late and sometimes his staff leave with very little money at the end of the month because they have to be at the office before 7.30am. I know another whose mother was sick and needed N10,000 for treatment and he will not give her yet he never fails to pay tithe. I also have neighbors who pray every night but despise other neighbors, shy away from contributions and owe rent even when they are buying cars. From my experiene, the holier they are, the meaner! |
