I have used both JBD and JK BMS - JBD BMS were originally targeted at medical devices so quite rugged build quality and plenty fail safe features built in.

If you want a pro product with plenty flexibility, ability to talk to inverters via RS485, up to 2A active balancing then choose the JK BMS - if you have multiple BMSs in your battery bank the JK also switches between BMSs far better and smoother than JBD.

I say the JK BMS is a pro product because it does not forgive wiring mistakes and also needs a special procedure to wake up the BMS - once you can handle these two aspects you are set to go forever.

Seplos too is a good BMS with active balancer and comms but very failure prone in real life use (we are told there is a bad batch with defective parts released into the market)

I would rank the Dalys and ANTs of this world behind all these BMSs above - typically these cost more and are more quirky but I have yet to see any reason to choose them over a JK or JBD BMS for example.

I have attached screenshots from my JK BMS (current favorite) and JBD BMS respectively - as you can see they each achieve good results and keep your pack happy - the JK is the better value product of the two in my opinion.

The name of the Lady is "Selina Li".

I had an issue with 4Cells in the delivery because the Shipper she used, allowed 4Cells to be damaged, outof the 32 Cells and the Clearance in Lagos was a bit high but l got to know that she had changed the Shipper to a better one now.
Her Guaranty is also good as she is replacing the damaged Cells.
A few people here are expecting some shipment from her in a two-three Months from now.

If you reach her on time, she might be able to pack your purchase in the current Shipment.

BTW: I got introduced to her by @valto.

Thank you for your response, I communicated with them but my only issue is that they said I have to handle the custom duties and clearance.
They quoted $730 for 1CBM sea shipping but that I still have to clear by myself. I would have gone with the price if it included up till delivery.
Currently discussing with them and other suppliers to see if they will ship including clearing and customs duty.

What is the difference In using a hybrid inverter as against using an inverter with an external charge controller?

To be more specific,
If I have to choose between a Victron quattro 5kVA, victron MPPT charge controller and a Growatt 5kVA hybrid inverter, what are the pros and cons, what are the benefits and differences?

I know the victron with the CC const much more than the Growatt.
Growatt also claims a power factor of 1.

Please people knowledgeable in this area should help.

Remanned the old one and we're back in business.

If this fails, I'll just have to import a brand new OE part.

Have to say, though: having the starter motor beneath the car is a pain in the ass.

I believe if you want a quality paint job you have to supervise it, you might even have to bring some of your tools.
I have discovered that some painters cut corners or don't think some things in the technical datasheet are necessary or required.
You might not need to do the actual painting yourself but you will need to supervise if you need a quality finish.

I have discovered within a short time that a number of painters are unable to produce a good finish when they use Sikkens product, atleast in Kaduna, they don't follow the datasheets or don't have the required tools.
They don't use guide coat to work on the body, they don't use the right gun for base, they don't know at what air pressure they are spraying, primer/sealer or clear, they don't even bake the car at the required temperature as stated in the datasheet. Alot of the ovens are substandard with the heaters not working. I have checked a number of ovens in Kaduna and I could only find one oven that has a working heater to heat a car to 60°C after painting as stated in the datasheet.

But a good paint job will cost you money, it's actually more expensive that an ordinary plant job.

I don't know how the workmanship is in Lagos or Abuja but I believe they should have better painters and better tools too.

I have done alot of reading and watched alot of videos but I'm still a newbie.

Due to work related unforseen events, the plan delayed indefinitely coupled with my inability to find a 1.3-1.5mm nozzle. The car too has been resting for a long while. I may be sending it to a shop soon. I can't even supervise it in the shop myself.

This compliant IWATA WS-400 gun I got recently has a 1.3mm nozzle and is perfect for clear coat.
This cost me almost $800.

My wife is now using the 2016 accord, it is still a very good car with no issue as it was accident free and a single owner with low miles carfax verified.
No plan to get rid of the honda atleast for the next few years. I am a Honda accord person, have had 2002, 2008, 2013 and now 2016 but I just want to try something.
I initially wanted the 2015-2016 C300 but I gather that particular engine is a mistake and the C300 which is a V6 is too expensive for the price I am willing to pay, that was why I decided to step down to the 2013-2014 C300 or C350.

I think the engine in the 2013 C300 is same engine in the C350, W212, GLK, just that the one in the C300 was slightly detuned from the 302hp.

I feel I've given the recommendation I can. If you don't need rear doors, a 2014+ E Coupe is a good alternative.

The W205 is turbocharged, so premium fuel is very necessary.

W205 also requires premium fuel, so how do folks in naija that drive W204 manage, do they use octane booster or just run crappy regular naija fuel?

C400 is what we always recommend here but it's usually a bit more expensive than the C300.

You can consider a 2014 E350. That's what I'd buy.

The C400 is much more expensive.
I see alot of the C300 around and I keep wondering if they are having issues to deal with, I've also seen a number that had engines changed.

I will prefer a C as the E is larger, a compact luxury will be better for me at the moment

Nissan CVTs are not good or reliable.
Honda CVTs are ok, the 4cylinder 2.4L Honda accords from 2013 to 2017 are all CVT, they are butter smooth and are still fun to drive.

I've owned a 2013 Honda accord and now a 2016 Honda accord, just do your CVT fluid change at the specified interval following the manufacturer specified procedure in the manual, if you rely on Kazzim that is the end of your transmission.
Honda tuned the CVT to closely mimic a traditional automatic, those who have driven the car will tell you it doesn't have that much rubberband feel like the Nissan CVT.

CVT is the future, more and more cars will be changing to CVT. Some 2014 to 2017 corolla are CVT.

See below when I changed the CVT fluid on .y 2013 accord. Too bad I had an accident and totaled the car.

When I got the 2016, one of the first things I did was to change the CVT fluid.

Surface duty paid was about 1m, if I remember correctly.

Car was stopped by Ijebu Ode customs and we were asked to go after their confirmation - we didn’t pay a kobo. Custom rate then was 361/$1

With this new rate of 381/$1, I doubt this 1.62m will fly...

Hello I want to get a generator to use one in a while when I have extended power outage and my inverter runs down. I have power most of the time (18-20 hours) per day. My inverter fills up the few hours of blackout.
I want to get a gen for the few times in months when we go over a day+ without light.
The generator can go 2 months with coming on,
Kindly advice if this generator is OK or there is a better one. I want a portable sound.
