LocalStandard1: I remember when a group of Redeemed members were kidnapped in Kaduna State, Adeboye came to Kaduna and gave El'rufai all the praises under heaven. A few days later they were released, after wining and dining with El'rufai Adeboye left Kaduna people to their issues, who cares by the way? Definitely not the Baba!
I felt seriously betrayed and stabbed, but then what is remaining of my questions are answered then and there. He used us in 2015, used us a little bit more in mid 2022. Since after his personal hopes were crushed, his candidate insulted, abused mocked and persecuted for daring to contest against "Asiwaju himself", Adeboye went silent and changed his message over night.
Why did he also use the name of Jesus to peddle personal greed in the first place?
I will go back and tell what you just said to my brother who's a member, then I will shout it out to the world to hear. Bye! G |

senatordave1: Atiku can only win any northern state narrowly apart from Adamawa.I have conceded sokoto to him ever since but his winning margin will be less than 100k..katsina still looks 50% 50 same as jigawa..just as obi is countering him in kaduna, kwankwaso is making the contest tighter for atiku While atiku is above tinubu on tribal grounds, tinubu best him on religious grounds.the mm ticket is attractive to most fanatic muslims.they may want power to remain in north but the prospects of mm ticket and tinubu health makes them compromise.atiku is too religiously liberal and his vp is offerlnsive to core north.. Look at the history of the north, they usually flock around or rally around leaders who are conservative, close to the talakawas, simple minded, religiously fanatic and pro sharia.look at Dan fodio,a religious radical, look at shehu yaradua conservative and simple natured and incorrupt.look at maitama sule, ahmadu bello, aminu kano and now buhari.all of them are fulanis from nw.the only one that managed to have cult following outside nw was waziri Ibrahim a kanuri.atiku does not have any of these attributes,he is from Adamawa that is banza bakwai, diluted by Christians.look at kwankwaso with a cult following, highly religious and close to the poor and a fulani prince.isa pantami has a cult following in gombe because of his religious radicalism.el rufai is respected in nw because of his anti Christian stance.look at educated emir lamido is,saraki, dangote etc.they dont command followership because they are too liberal.same applies to atiku.
Ask yourself why atiku who started politics since 1990 doesnt have any following but buhari who started in 2002 has.even kwankwaso self.it is because atiku is not extreme.he is like tofa,he will either win the north narrowly or lose.
Ganduje is an ally to tinubu.his son is married to late ajimobi's daughter so he will protect tinubu afterall you claimed murtala garo atiku in-law will fight for him.gortinuatelt for tinubu,he is surrounded by age long allies, friends and loyalist from wayback.he never abandons his loyalists.on the other hand, atiku is surrounded by fair weather friends who are not loyalists.people like ben obi, dokpesi cannot deliver for him.tambuwal, saraki, omokri etc are there for their personal interests and won't stake their neck for him.so tinubu is less likely to be betrayed than atiku who abandons his loyalists after elections.he only looks for them during elections and believes in the power of money.tinubu will best him Respect, you sabi politics, looking beyond the ephemeral. jerrydelight: 2023 Presidential Election; MKO Abiola's Second Chance.
1993 is upon us again but not as it was 30 years go. The spirit of Abiola is upon a man who like him, has won the heart of many across regions and religions and not on a man that is impersonating him by mimicking his path in the past. This is like Abiola's Second chance; it took 30 years to come and it might not come again anytime soon. Why let yourself get swallowed up in a sinking sand when you stand strong on a solid rock.
It is not a coincidence that the party Social Democratic Party (SDP), under which Abiola ran for election in 1993 was described as follows by Wikipedia "...A moderate party, attractive to young radical intellectuals and socialists... it called for concerted efforts to improve welfare and fight for social justice." This description is the exact representation of the #obedient movement. Labour Party is described as a social democratic political party... previously known as the Party for Social Democracy (PSD).... Built on the ideology of social democracy, the party aims to promote and defend social democratic principles and ideals for the purpose of achieving social justice, progress and unity.
It is also not a coincidence that the party opposing that of Abiola was described by Wikipedia as "...largely an amalgamation of three major organizations, the Liberal Convention, the Nigeria National Congress and the Federalists. In its first presidential primary, the race was dominated by a few prominent Hausa-Fulani leaders ...under the leadership of Tom ikimi, an Edo man". Does that ring any bell? APC was founded from a merger of Nigeria's three largest opposition parties (ACN, CPC and ANPP) under the leadership of John Onyegun; a one time number one citizen of Edo state (Executive Governor between 1992-1993). The first primary was dominated by prominent Hausa-fulani leaders Muhammed Buhari, Rabiu Kwankwaso and Atiku Abubakar.
1993 is upon us again but unlike how the election ended 30 years, it will not be the center that is going to suppress the yearning of the masses but masses themselves by sitting on the fence or being swayed in ignorance. If we let that happen, then Ibrahim Babangida would be justified for annulling the June 12 election. As it will become evident that Nigerians enjoys suffering and undeserving of of liberation through excellent leadership.

North4Obi23: There is no place we don't discuss Tinubu and the future of Nigeria. In the market, mosques and school, we ask questions. These are our observations. 1. Tinubu is very sick. There is no lie, cover-up, propaganda that that can deny that Tinubu is Sick. The latest pictures Wike released say it all.
2. Tinubu is.not answering questions about his link with drug in Chicago or us. Why?
3. Tinubu is not saying anything about his primary, secondary school, teachers or classmates. Remember even Buhari produced his pictures of his classmates and primary school testimonials and waec.
4. Tinubu is known in the north as baban barawo. AHow can a person whose parents were so poor that they couldn't pay his school fees inherit estates?
5. Tinubu ruled and bought Lagos and we don't want him to buy Nigeria. Lagos is Tinubu's property because Tinubu's was a governor. Buhari ruled Kaduna but he never enslaved Kaduna people.
6. Tinubu is a fake Muslim. He can't even recite the first compulsory verse in Quoran.
7. Tinubu is a liar. Even his party men know devil is learning work from him. 8. We're learning what is positive about Tinubu's life. If you have any let us know. We now tell our people, Obi or Waziri 2023. I don't expect any sane person will continue on propaganda that have failed smear Tinubu. You can't continue to do the same thing that failed you and expect to have to make a progress. The election is just 3 days and here you are on a campaign of calumny when you should be out there canvassing for your candidate. peepydelano: He weighed his options and knows the other person doesn’t stand a chance. Most kwankwasiya movements will be massively voting for Atiku. Kwankwaso is likely to become president in the nearest future than Obi, you’ll agree he started his journey long ago but mark this down that his time shall come. That is how it is done in a country like Nigeria, kwankwaso has consistently build and still building loyalists and it will surely click for him one day. You don’t just jump from nowhere and hope to cling the presidency in a diversed ( different tribes and religion) country like Nigeria, it won’t work . Igbos still don’t understand the dynamics of Nigerian politics. This is the bitter truth. Then Kwakwaso at this point would want to make the sacrifice, by supporting a candidate from the South otherwise he would turn out to become another Tambuwa |

ojoadeola: Please be aware that the election in Lagos is not as you have it
Tinubu will win with a very wide margin
I have surveyed the Lagos area and discovered that those rooting for Obi are mainly Ibos and some Youths.
The believe that Yoruba Christians will vote for Obi is a ruse. The Yorubas understand better that religion does not matter in their politics.
If the Presidential election had come up in December 2022, Peter Obi would have done better and challenged Bola Tinubu, but the events of the past few weeks (the Naira Swap, and the ethnocentric view that the North are persecuting him) have brought the people back to Tinubu. This is evident in the boldness of URCHINS to attack and speak on Nairaland in recent days, as well as the view around the city about Tinubu and no one else.
Taking a cue also that the coming of significant developments from the Federal to Lagos State has happened majorly in this government when their son's party is in power.
They also believe that the Security of Yorubas would be more assured if they have their Son (Tinubu) in power, rather than Peter Obi who may focus on security in his own domain.
The major determinant of this shift to Tinubu is the fact that Tinubu will help them regain the losses they may likely suffer if the current Naira swap challenges continue. Thus the cliche, "vote Tinubu and continue to spend your old Naira till December 2023)
His boldness against the powers that be also gave him out as someone who would not be afraid to take some bold steps to solve Nigeria's problems.
At the National level, the continuous push and advertisement that it is the turn of the South to produce the President will work to favour Tinubu.
My final verdict - Tinubu will win Lagos, and win the National election See person wet sabi politics. Thump up bro |

Mindlog: Obi is not heady but aspirational like Atiku is.
Several times did I see Atiku studying at the library of our university's campus in Cambridge during my postgraduate days there and I knew for sure that Atiku was going to run for 2023 and that was part of his preparation despite the belief that the Presidency should rotate back to the South but he believed he stands a chance.....Why should Obi not also have the belief, he stands a chance?
Since you have the conviction that Atiku already has the numbers, Obi should be irrelevant to the sum. Don't mind Asgard, he allowed emotion to take the best part of him. Forget campaign and insult, Nigeria knows it is the turn of the South, and am pleased to see Obi or Tinubu win, yes I know Tinubu is better, but Obi will be better than Atiku because he will always have his Southern people on his neck criticizing him, these are things that spur leaders into action and not entitlement mentality that Atiku wanted to exhibit over 200m Nigerians |

My first and last thread. Whao, see humility at its peak. For 7 years you have shouted power to the north, now God is showing you He is supreme, and the only one that gives power to whoever pleases Him. He chose Tinubu but you chose Atiku. Going against God's anointed can lead to self-destruction. Thank God you were bold to admit defeat. Peter Obi will not align with Atiku, even if he loses he has put up a good fight, and history will remember him as a man that surges into the limelight at a speed of a jet, with a battalion of followers who is passionate to the point of death in what they believe in. To us, the only reason we support Tinubu is that he is the best among others, we all love our nation to be great and see in him as the only one at this time who can do it. No sentiment, no emotion attached in voting Tinubu |
