GEJ is a PDP man. Expecting a PDP man to suddenly support LP is like expecting Putin to suddenly call Biden his lord and master.

Unless GEJ has resigned his membership of PDP, as a PDP member he is expected to support and follow his party candidate. If he supported Obi, he would have been expelled from PDP for anti-party activities. (Yes, they can do it.).

You tinubu supporters should focus on the issues. (No, I am not obidient , atikulating or tinubiist.)
Then why are many of you blaming Tinubu for supporting Buhari, Not only blame but it has turned to reason why many hate him

1999-2007 didn't the SE vote the SW?
I don't want to digress on this subject as Yoruba do not believe SE vote for them based on the record, how you are able to convince them will determine whether such point can be used to win support from them in the near future.

Sincerely SE are not doing enough regarding their place in future election

For instance majority of SS big politicians are in PDP but you hardly see them in confrontation with the SW, despite having one of their son as VP candidate but that cannot be said of SE people, they turned the campaign into a fight between SW and SE.

GeneralPula:
Superiority makes Igbo people hates Yoruba. During the Biafra or death, they didn’t hate on Yoruba alone, it was Nigeria at large. Their hatred doesn’t really affect anything, hence why you see Yoruba are not reacting..

But if somebody like Okorocha or Orji Kalu can get the presidential ticket, then there is likely a chance for Igbos to rule. I think those 2 are well spread & are not tribalistic, and with the right support, they’ll surely win. Their problem now is you won’t see igbo people supporting who can win most times..

As for me, after Tinubu, the next southern man I’ll want southerners to produce is either Amaechi or Wike - I don’t know who SS people would present between the 2..

My mind tells me El-Rufai is likely going to be the next northern candidate..
I think Soludo will get more appeal than either of the two, besides political consciousness would continue to increase and there won't be place for non performer.

Between Amaechi and Wike, and yes it could tilt toward places like Akwa Ibom if the governors continue on the infrastructural project they are doing. Past records and state or regional status will play more role in future election while religion and ethnicity will decrease rapidly if Tinubu can win with the MM combo
Politics › Re: My Prediction: Election Results By Region by Ttalk: 2:12pm On Oct 14, 2022
DearDealz:
To be honest
It will be difficult for APC to win the election without SW's landslide win to support northern votes
What Tinubu need to win the election is half the total vote in the South

Indices that would determine that are

1. Lagos population
2. Lagos record
3. Separation between Atiku and Obi
4 Power of incumbency
5. Voting strength and turnout from SW
6. Other support from politicians like Wike and co.

Indices that could work against it

1. Low turnout of voters in SW
2. LP collapsing into and supporting PDP in the presidential election
3. SE turnout and impact of insecurity in the region
4. Muslim/ Muslim ticket

My submission:

Lagos should increase vote turnout to nothing less than 2.5m
SW should give average of 75%
The party should closely monitor the affairs of APC leaders especially in the SE and SS
Campaign should be aggressive with comparative analysis of infrastructural project between APC and PDP government
APC should flaunt Tinubu's achievement as Lagos governor
APC should use Lagos development as centerpiece model of it's campaign

That is their cup of tea. If Nigeria still remain one, I wonder where SE will get their vote in the future election. Because if it come down South am sure SW will support SS with the current politics of hate that many people form SE are playing
Politics › Re: GEJ Joins The SE/SS Bigwigs Who Are Opposed To Obi's Ambition by Ttalk:
That is the same man some people carry for head like Gala

You soiled your relationship with Yoruba your closest ally that preserved your properties during the civil war. A tribe that has never for once fight you on their land despite so many provocations. A region where many of your illustrious sons and daughter had their education, where they are seeking their daily bread and living a comfortable life.

You soiled that relationship because they voted Buhari against Jonathan. Main while, Yoruba were not the only region that voted for Buhari, the north and Atiku left PDP to APC and still vote for Buhari, but you didn't count the sins of Atiku when you vote for him en masse in 2019, but still hold grudges against SW for exercising their civil responsibility.

Now Jonathan has moved on and now supporting Atiku, a man who left PDP to support his kingsman. Jonathan is back in PDP with the same Atiku that caused his electoral loss.

Today, the East has become an orphan as the SW has consciously awoken and would henceforth threat the East for who they are. Just like Jonathan and SS are consciously supporting PDP, SW will equally support SS or north even when SE is on the ballot. This is the sad result of SE's unwarranted hatred against SW and other regions in Nigeria.

Will the trend changes, only time will tell. But I hope the obidients who are mostly Igbo realize this bitter truth and make an amendment

That revolution can only take place in the East, MNK instruction to destroy Lagos during endsars has exposed the type of revolution the Easterners are fighting reminiscence of 1966 massacre of Northern and Western leaders.

In effect, SE, SS, NC and SW are now on lockdown for Obi.

The real work now is in NE and NW. 70% of all votes cast is achievable in this particular election for Obi. More massive campaign in Hausa and Kanuri in radio stations of the north will do it. What Obi needs in this election is make a statement with a landslide victory.
Why are you mocking Obi Pandora?

This is one of the most foolish comments I've read on here. If Igbos are 51% of Lagos population and other non Yorùbá tribes are probably 20-30%, are you saying that YORUBAS, the owners of the land, are just 20% of Lagos population? That for every random 10 Lagos residents, before you see 2 Yorùbá, you would have seen 5 Igbos?

Contrary to your claim, according to demographics obtained via the Lagos State population census, which coincidentally was done in Senator Bola Tinubu's first term, 51 percent of lagos residents are of South Eastern descent......

This why as a policy in lagos state government, one igbo man is always nominated to fill a slot in the lagos state government cabinet.........

@op, you're assuming that illiterates and agberos are in the majority in the SW so that's why you're giving Tinubu those numbers.

Most educated Yorubas I know are voting Obi and most Yoruba Christians too. So, you do the maths. Obi is certainly getting up to 30% in all SW states!

This is the very closest you have given since all your predictions, however, you understand that a Yoruba man is on the ballot. The way he will win you will see.

Leave SM, Lagos is the only place he will face some sort of challenge, yet win big because PDP and LP are sharing their votes. Osun, Ondo (that's if he reconciles with Wike) & Oyo is where Atiku hopes to close the gap.

Ojo LGA is a PDP fortress, alongside Amuwo-Odofin LGA. They have won all the Presidential elections there since '07 but now APC will likely take it.

The Vice-Chairman of the LGA is Igbo, the PDP Guber Candidate is from the LGA, the Lagos State APC Chairman is from the Zone. Candidates the APC gave their tickets to (HoA & co) are grassroots-men. I mean die-hards.......

With PDP/LP doing their thing, it gives APC the upper hand. That's how it's going to be in parts of the State.

It will be different this time, brother.

Tinubu is contesting bro. I think we will be having upto atleast 4million voters.

And talking about obi having more votes than atiku. Bro, forget the internet sensation and buzz. I was born in Lagos, i grew up there before moving up North.
PDP has wards in every streets, same with APC. With atleast 100 members. Now we have almost like 20streets more or less in each local government.

Guy, that is structure.. You guys are underrating PDP in lagos just because of Tinubu influence.
PDP is a bomb in lagos.. Lagos was nearly lost last time remember? Not because of sentiment or tribe or religious affiliations. It was the structure bro.

I am not saying base on what i heard, i have been in the system.

Peter obi will come a distant third in lagos.

In 5million expected voters turnout, i think Tinubu will have like 3million, Atiku 1.5million, and Peter obi 400,000. Then the rest of the parties 100,000.
Your analysis is very accurate. Lagos will have the largest turnout in this election the Yoruba have decided to prove a point. APC has 90% political family, even members of PDP have in the course of their political career have something to do with APC I mean, AD, AC, ACN and APC. In short Lagos political family is one. Expect nothing less than 3million votes from Lagos for APC
