Leave unemployment out of it abeg, is there no unemployment in the South?
The worse going on in the south is Yahoo yahoo.
The same North facing worse insecurity has produced Top military personnel that have diverted money meant to fund the army.
The same North are the ones with those funding terrorism. Buhari said terrorism in the north is better than crime in the south |

Eddodoh: Can u do this job? Is it advisable to continue wit dis job?
I am stuck & afraid to quit. I am a graduate but decided to take dis job early last year when nothing was forthcoming.
Work where u earn 12k, n most times u don't get to collect d amount complete. U collect 3k or 5k after deduction of shorts & I.O.U. cos u don't even get paid at d end of d month.
Salary is usually not paid at d end of month but second month. Maybe mid or towards ending of d other month. Bills piling up & always broke. 1year + on d job but nothing to show for it.
Work from Monday to Sunday. Resume b4 8am & close by 8:30pm or 9pm.
It's being very challenging & I felt I should share to get some advice. If this is true then it's a very big insult to you, how can you resume work early in the morning and close very late and by the end they'll give you what? 12 naira? there's even procrastination and deductions of that thing they call salary. working for a year + Hmmmmm. This is sure work in vain. you stress yourself for nothing. talk to people to help you, anybody can help, not only people you know. learn a handwork also there's no time o. |

Akwamkpuruamu: Africans
Few days ago, A whole Duke of Edinburgh and husband to the Almighty Queen of England was buried today, only 18 invited guests.
No reception nor takeaway packs, no uniform, liveband, tent/canopy, not even bottle/pure water.
No cooler of food for the Choristers or appreciation envelopes for officiating ministers, no age grade levy or community levy and no taxing/levy on in-laws.
But in Nigeria, if Okada rider dies....., his immediate and extended family must feed 5 thousand people with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes..
We really need to repent and have sense. We Africans always overdo Everything we tend to copy from them. Church practices is another major one. since it's not by force to adhere to their foolish and greedy practices, it is better to stick to ur own principle |

santakris: A reunion was planned.I was scared to attend. It was 5 years after university. What could I point to? I had read on some of my classmates that were now made men and women. I made up my mind not to attend. I did not want pity or to be the subject of gossip. Another class mate called me and encouraged me. “Come along, you might meet classmates that might assist you”. On that note i attended. The colleague picked me up. At the reunion, plenty of back slaps. Excitement and joy. I felt inadequate when people shared their current status. I sat in a lonely corner. What would I share? What success? What growth? Luckily, I was not called upon. The reunion ended. No one asked for my number. Many just glanced over me. I left feeling more dejected. Some months after, I got employed and also into farming. Luck shined and I prospered. Married. Sponsored one or two candidates and became a man of influence. It was 15 years. Time for another reunion. I got my best car out. Wore my most expensive attire.I desired to go and impress to tell my story. Now I have something to say. Then wisdom came to me and my wife advised otherwise. What was I going to get? False affection? Acclaims and applause. Some envy? I decided I would not attend. I would look for 5 of my classmates struggling to assist to heights. To make them feel more adequate. It would be discreet. I did. I supported them. Despite not attending, I was applauded for contribution. Last time I was there, none saw me. In my absence, my success spoke. They all noticed I did not come. I shook my head sadly. I had learnt a lesson. My friends would remain those that cared when I was poor. Not those that were friends with my cars and money in the bank. Note:- Please, let's reach out to mates who have not made it up the ladder and assist them. A Yoruba adage says "ajo je o dun beni kan o ni" eating together is not sweet if some in the group are indigent and not contributing. Not sure if I got that right, but, let the message sink. One great lesson I learnt during this lockdown is that nothing else matters but our relationship with God and people. Ki Olorun ran wa lowo o, Amin. Remember that your achievements lie in the number of lives you touch positively.
COPIED This may inspire you and others. Have a wonderful day Bro thank you for this advise. thank you |
